I wish my Wi-Fi troubles were so esoteric...seems all I need is a tin-foil hat... After selling the family homestead a nearly year ago and renting till I found my Ponderosa, for those who don't get Ponderosa check out an old TV series Bonanza, I'm deep in the throes of moving!!! Cable won't be installed till late next week Wi-Fi here has been spotty due to an inornate amount of rain here in the Northeast....My iPhone has been screaming for mercy, my hot spot, at my age I wish I had more of them, wants to press charges of abuse... Fingers crossed I survive this move, I did label all the boxes this time, trying to figure where the unlabeled interlopers came from, if i hear ticking, out the door it goes...

A difficult chapter to say the least but the first steps towards healing have been taken, many families are like Gwen and Matt's when they speak without a filter and later on it passes, it is just how some folks communicate... While I wasn't enamored with Gwen when first met, I wasn't ready to toss her under the bridge, I came close at the beginning of this chapter tho...then she saved herself at the end with the following comment, and it was brilliant, incredibly so... The elevator stopped on the twelfth floor. They stepped out, and Gwen looked at the directory for the correct office number and direction. "This way. You just think about how positive a step this is. Talk to her; be honest. That’s all there is to it." "That’s it? I have to relive all those memories." Gwen tugged Matthew to a stop. "I know you do. It’ll be hard, hon. Really hard. But maybe setting those thoughts and feelings loose into the world will free you of their hold on you a bit." Matthew stared at his mother. Did she say that?

Can't add much to what has been said/indicated as to the parents...staked to an anthill slathered in honey for starters followed by transportation to whatever that island is called where the tropical crabs come out at low tide to eat.... Get these kids professional help ASAP!!!!!

Francis certainly kept tabs on our boys while he was occupied elsewhere...didn't he??? Not much escapes his notice as it would seem he has eyes everywhere...as to the orgy, that remains to be seen if it happens or not...

We live in a world of many flavors despite those who would have us in a sterile environment, listening to false promises by hectoring faux 'leaders'... Each to their own ability and desires as love for partner/lover knows no bounds, nor does it need the approbation of others... While it wasn't necessarily my cup of tea, I found this story to be very enjoyable and might have even learned something!!! Great job SA!!!

What goes around comes around….or so it seems…Was that baby powder that man was mixing in his shake, at my age that’s what it looked like to me…

All well that ends well…let’s hope the man who was injured recovers quickly and minimal impact… I can remember seeing either in Life or Look magazines pictures of the odd damage tornadoes could do, things like plastic straws embedded in wood or 2x4,s shot through cement block walls. Louella, well let’s just say she deserves the full force of karma….

Some Dreams Are Harder To Achieve
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Some Dreams Are Harder To Achieve
Hoo boy, what a chapter...I had to go with angry, sometimes I wish the emoticon for angry had steam coming out of its ears... How in the deepest layers of hell did these parents get away with this behavior for so long, were the kids homeschooled? Thank goodness for an understanding brother and social worker... Jill's background/story truly concerns me...- 38 comments

The following is ever so true….. Every day should be a holiday,” he claimed. And I couldn’t really find (nor wanted to) an argument against it. He was right. And I was at an age, or at least approaching it, where you might want to think about ‘letting the young ones run about and live on the clock’.

I love watching the two of them just growing stronger and stronger...and the following made me think of my 7th grade English teacher... Paula, a tall slim woman in her 60s with an amazing helmet of dyed burgundy hair and a voluminous blouse in an alarming matching colour took their contact details.

You may want to rethink your Monday morning wake-up cause a lot more than 'waking-up' happened....

We all have secrets, things we sometimes can't even admit to ourselves. What happens when we give in to them...

A sincere and heartfelt thanks for sharing this with us. I suspect at times it must/may have been difficult for you to pull some of the memories and ideas in crafting this. Rest assured, you've created a masterpiece in a new, fresh and original way, I've even changed my opinion of, ever so frigging slightly, of Judge Crustypants... The turd that tried to pass as the boy's biological father will always be a turd, like leopards they can't change their spots unless they've eaten a bunch of corn on the cob... I thought with the turd you've hit a new despicable low, but with the addition of the tailpipe he glommed on to, she comes in a very close second... Billy and the rest, God did they ever entertain and add to this story, from thinking he was a loose cannon run amuck, I came to love him and everyone he brought along... Attorney Clark, I wish you well in your search for gainful employment...as I fervently hope your soon to be former place of employment, not only spontaneously self-combusts, but the survivors find themselves looking a at 5 to 10 in a Club Fed somewhere... It may be time for the school administrators to be forced to do remedial reading of the school's handbook and policies, knowing them might be helpful in their job applications... To the Westboro Baptist wanna-be's...there are seats reserved for all of you in Dantes' lower circles of hell...as you look back and reflect on your miserable lives, please remember Jesus originated 'woke'.... Reading this was one of the highlights of my week as you took us on a rollercoaster of thrills and chills as we followed along. One of the hallmarks, and I've said it before, are the reactions you engendered, not only from me but by a whole host of others...and boy oh boy, did I ever react.... Thank you!!! BTW...please mark complete if you are truly finished so myself and others can write a review...

To borrow from @RainbowPhoenixWI's syntax or is it sintax??? Cheezeandfreakingcrackersmotherjumpingpuddledrinkingpalsoffriggingnunsridingbycyclesduringthundestorms.... I'm so glad I had the wherewithal to give it another paragraph after the dream sequence....Phew..... Was I a tad upset...nah...I knew it all along, tho I was thinking Lucy just may have been standing behind you as you devised this chapter....

Matt needs to work on himself first and foremost. While I am not ready to toss 'Mother' under the bridge it is a dynamic at play that isn't adding to Matt's emotional health or his recovery presently. As a side note, Maeve, and Matt recognizes this, seems to be more of a mother figure, the type he needs. Matt needs the services of a professional to help him sort thru his baggage and years of abuse. Wandering around like he is, isn't helping...he's only drifting, not recovering...and it isn't healthy. I have to hold out hope that someone reaches out and helps Matt towards the recovery he needs., while I am most likely wrong, it should not be Andy at this time. Speaking of Andy, he needs to do a serious self-assessment as well as to what his future should look like. Loving this story, so many tangents hiding in the weeds paragraphs....

Hummm, I find the following very interesting to say the least, what could it portend??? I lifted his chin so I could look into his eyes and said, “I would never laugh at someone who is exposing their soul to me, Marco. Dio m'ammazzi, I will never hurt you.” His eyes watered, and he quickly said, “I feel compelled to serve you, Don Carlo. More than ma patri, more than Principe Giorgio.” Nico gasped. “I’m sorry, ma patri, but it is true. His soul tells me I must serve him.”

Chapter 35: “Think as you like but behave like others”
drsawzall commented on W_L's story chapter in Chapter 35: “Think as you like but behave like others”
Now the 64 thousand question remains...can they win the peace???? -
I may be an old fuddy duddy but, Marc let this relationship progress a bit further than he should have, I am not saying he led Janek on, but he sure came damned close....

Child Protective Services Helps, Sort Of
drsawzall commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Child Protective Services Helps, Sort Of
I will have to be considerate in my comments, I do not want to join @weinerdog in the detention doghouse in the korner... Kathy has certainly 'earned' whatever moniker one chooses to apply to her...I would have to follow, where are you @Summerabbacat, and call her a frigging c&%t... I mean...whadda you mean I can't call the police....what f'ing planet is she residing on...sounds like she's from the land of pick and choose bible thumpers..... Not that I have any strong feelings...that's my story and I'm sticking to it......- 41 comments
