I have to think that rather than a serial monogamist, Donald Mitchel was an exploiter, not only for his art but his peccadillos... It was not a remarkable story; two men, one experienced, the other naïve and inexperienced. For one it was a pleasant diversion and a means to an end; Donald Mitchell seems to have been what Mother calls a serial monogamist. True to the current person, but liable to change. Greg, however, was the focus of Mitchell’s intense artistic scrutiny as well. This created expectations that Mitchell had neither ability nor intention to fulfil. The result was some fine art and one fucked-up kid.

Another classic from our very talented author, in this tale we get to visit a new world full of possibilities. A richly described story of love, one can only hope to revisit sometime in the near future!!!

Truly delightful and such a sweet story about love!!! And the understanding that deep feelings need room to grow and not forced like a hothouse flower.... I want better for Derek, he decided then and there. I want him to be happy. And then he was filled with surprise at his very own thoughts. Happiness was not something one could command. It could be given, yes. Or, the basis for it could be given. But the feeling itself? It must come from within, not without. So the question became, how to have Derek make his own happiness, while also allowing Kieron to share in it?

A very imaginative tale and as noted above, it seems like another chapter(s) should follow. Thoroughly enjoyable!!!

So looking forward to the continuation of this story, take your time, get in to a healthy routine, we'll be waiting for the next !!!

Not my scene at all but enjoyed the dynamics of this story and as @Mancunian and others pointed out, love is love for all of us who comprise a world of many flavors...well done and I do have a thought as to who the author is by a clue that described a location...

This is the proverbial calm before the storm...so many loose ends to decipher...

Much to pack in with this chapter but the best line was...“--Allegedly"

What a fantastic and sweet story, proving the pets we have are so much better than humans in so many ways, never a problem with the unconditional love they give us, unlike so many bipedal folks...

Sometimes the words, "You can't go home again,'' ring true. Growing up and by the time I was ready to graduate High School, I remember coming home and seeing the sheriff, eviction notice, and the moving van as once again Dad couldn't/wouldn't pay the rent. This happened four times. In my memories of these places, I remind myself that I no longer see these places with my younger self's eyes...some of these places simply were never home.

Compromise shall be the word of the day, week, and month....and before I discovered I could keep the newspaper with me everywhere I go, thanks to a whole bunch of electrons zapping around me, and at a lower cost, the print version isn't missed... Morning routines are sacred, but not unadaptable, specially when one considers the inclusion of fun times... Salesmen, bible thumpers, and unannounced relations shall learn to heed the sacred morning hours...

Well...I haven't a frigging clue but loved the story and I could see this being a few chapters longer....
