I think more than the eggs being the culprit, that Mickey was suffering from a delayed nervous system reaction, more than anything else...

The Farm, where the 'stable' of boys are held has to be the scene of a penultimate clash. What the Jack of Spades doesn't know is the surveillance already in place at the 'Farm"... Eddies death is a new wrinkle, while his passing is overdue, the terms of his will are not known and won't be until it is read and probated...I am hoping any financial gains Roger may see, that they go towards funding a home for these children... I'm laying odds that Melissa and Sam somehow end up with the twins.... My inner @Summerabbacat has one last thought...in the explosion, a splinter finds itself lodged painfully where the sun doesn't shine after slicing a certain appendage in two...emasculating the fuckwad, rat faced scum sucking pissant a-hole... Thank goodness your muse kicked in....this was a fantastic chapter...I still have some doubts about sharing info so freely and concrete steps need to be put into place so technology that should not be shared isn't...now or in the future!!! I assume it is too late for these folks to use stasis while changes are being made!! Simply loved the following... Then Joel grinned, “I’ll show you.” He waved at the empty air. A screen appeared as images of New Charleston began. The City Center of New Charleston, Rainbow Row, the tree lined avenues, the squirrels, birds, the lake and forest...all shown on the screen. The children ran back and forth...and then the view went up to see a blue sky with white clouds, a few birds that flew overhead. Ran shined down on them. There was a collective sigh of admiration seeing an open sky. “We offer you this. To give you access to this. What you have is amazing, but it can grow. If you want it.” Joel could see it was most definitely wanted.

Very enjoyable, you've managed to do what most authors strive for...create a setting and a tale with an economium of words, richly descriptive and well told!!

Every once in a while, and more often than not on this story site, a story comes along and captivates you from beginning to end. It bears repeating, we are so lucky with the work authors create and posting on this site. it is what makes GA one of the best story sites out there. The story defies casual description other than to say it is about finding oneself and love in the process...Fraught with twists and turns this story will hook you! All I can say is, read. this. story!!!!!

Thank you for this, it was a tremendous read, one that kept me looking forward to the next chapters, at times I forced myself to wait till there were two chapters posted to double my reading pleasure... I fervently hope that someday we will be able to peek in on them once again!

The technology of the wider world we see on the 'web' is staggering, and yet tomorrow it will be nearly obsolete...In high School, just after dinosaurs became meat eaters and started the American Revolution, our science teacher, lord knows why as I was hopeless at science and math, tried to talk me into joining the computer club, circa 1972-3....I laughed and told him I could not see any future in stuff so cumbersome... If only I had bought stock years later when Apple or Microsoft went public.... When I was 35, I started a new job as a facilities manager and watched as computers took over our business and the world. The pace of growth was so fast and furious that we were constantly renovating/remodeling spaces to accommodate new desktop equipment...And I have to admit, my computer skills were greatly enhanced by looking/searching for porn...
