You can feel the breakdown coming, like an ocean liner making the turn to avoid the iceberg… I would like to know more about Kitt’s father, what made him the way he is… When Kitt snaps, here’s hoping there’s room for him at Matt’s house. Peering into the distant future, if Kitt’s grades earn him a full bore scholarship, I can see him being able to breathe, and hopefully Matt follows. I think it is the only way he can escape his father’s abnormality…

Another chapter where I’m not sure what to say, other than with Mistress Alice out of the house, some folks feel free to show their duplicitous natures. Brittany’s little power play failed and embarrassed her immensely. We’ve not seen the last of her concerning this. I mean, WTF?? Frank, that fine line you are attempting to walk, and soon you won’t be fooling anyone. Blaise surprised me here, though I still wouldn’t let him get close. There’s much truth in Frank’s analysis of the Matthew/Alice puzzle. And at some point Dante needs to have that talk Mistress Carolyn has asked, will he be able to pull his head out of his ass, and do it? Alice is only going to be gone a few days, how bad can it get? I sense a monumental disaster coming.

Shackled to a wall with heavy iron chains and inoperable locks to secure the chains is one thought... I get the sense that each ability might/may have an opposite ability, thinking the Fenn and Ain are opposites, what would be the opposite of Yarima's ability, someone who can absorb/neutralize sound... What frustrates me is that no one seems to have the ability to think ahead or anticipate, and plan accordingly...

The only moving that will happen in the future will be to a bigger apartment…🤔

We know Yarmia is touched in the head, now we see she can possibly fly on her own, and while it is speculation from left field, is it possible having more than one ability is more than the brain can handle over time? The question is, how did she get past the guards? It doesn’t reflect well on your leadership when stupid, preventable things keep happening… Should our ‘hero’s’ start following asap? Let the news out about the windwalker and the crown prince? And, how did Yarima get out of her prison?

So…you ain’t ruling my theory out just yet!

I think Kitt is going to be broken on the altar of expectations….. But older boys in religious households lived under a different set of expectations. And Kitt could feel them closing around him like slowly tightening wires
