Simply brilliant and captivating. This is among the best stories to appear here in quite some time!!! And the law of luggage is never to be messed with!!! But as any traveler knows, getting an overstuffed suitcase to close is a universal struggle, regardless of which century you are trying to visit. The laws of thermodynamics are stubborn, but the law of luggage is absolute.

Going home with another’s tee shirt could be problematic… He explained that the communal showers were down at the end of the corridor, and handed Aled one of his own clean t-shirts to wear afterward. Once again, we see overconfidence play a huge role in this battle, and the old axiom, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, prove it's truth. As noted, Keborgha was caught in a vice, a starving, fanatical army in front of him and allies who would like nothing better than to see him taken down several pegs...What happened was akin to rats leaving a sinking ship... As to Ishan and his brothers, I personally would like to see the Sultan, in whatever form it will take, retire...and Rashid succumb to his eternal rest... Looking forward to the next...and book 3 of The Watchers....
