I think before they bring the battle to Orinovo, they had best do some serious research into the az-ari. How many types are there? How are "talents" taken from fellow az-ari? Frankly, they need to know everything possible about them before considering bringing the war to Orinovo...

A truly remarkable story of love, engaging and expertly nuanced, as we watch Hudson and Liam build a relationship despite all the negativity tossed in their way. This story had me hooked with one of the best opening chapters I've read in quite some time. As the first chapter finishes, you find yourself on a rollercoaster you won't want to get off of!
