It is a testament to the author as to how folks react to this story, my computer is hearing all my frustrations. Wholly new combinations of cussing words that no one should ever hear...don't get me started on my poor keyboard... The following has to give me pause, and as @weinerdog and @Jjeffalch point out, things that should be done aren't. The mother's silence in reporting her child is missing is difficult to understand. And I have to include the pastor in this as well, as he has a duty to care and to speak up when he sees something wrong... More concerning is Matt, not putting 2 and 2 together, and at the very least, put up some missing posters with Kitt's picture and contact info. As we see in the excerpt below, Matt is smart enough to look at missing pet posters that he can't make the connection... He still searched. Just not in the feverish way he had before. Some nights he scrolled through community posts in Riverbend—fundraisers, local news, missing pet flyers, random photos from events.

Pot tay to/potato....It was a lighthearted comment made in jest, not one that was meant to be scientifically accurate...😉

Back in 2004 I bought a Ford Super Duty Pickup Truck and loved it, drove into Downtown Boston to my job, 36 miles each way, in 2007 the economy took a dive, gas prices went up. I did some research and figured I could park the truck, use it only on weekends, and with the money I saved on gas, the truck got 12 to 14 MPG, I could buy a Prius, as the monthly payment, insurance, and gas was such I could still come out ahead and save a bit. Enjoyed this very much, I do love me a plug-in…. If I buy a book, a serious one, it goes on the shelf... Would you like a regular temperature year round or do you like your seasons? I like the 4 seasons, flying bugs, not so much... Do you wear sunscreen regularly? long-sleeve T-shirts, wide-brimmed hats, and will use sunscreen on my legs if outside for a long time...if working in the yard, long pants and tick repellant. Did you watch any TV or Movies yesterday? Very little, would much rather read, TV commercials and movie promos are very annoying... Do you own any old paperbacks or hard cover books still? Yes Do you ever read them or are you a digital kind of person now? Both What is the last book as on paper, did you read? Team of Rivals by Deloris Goodwin, just finished Ben Franklin by Sally Schiff, and WS Randal's bio of Thomas Jefferson. When I need to give my brain a rest, anything by John Grisham or Dan Brown...And...sometime soon, The Federalist Papers...

At my age, and a head full of useless stuff, it is helpful to refresh my memory!!!
