Not to bug you, but...perhaps a lower tier could be add free, but keep the same level of access to stories that they currently have. To be able to access all stories, they would have to buy a Premium Membership... Just a thought and thanks!!!

I've been meaning to comment, and the week has gotten away from me, while all the early risers are napping this Christmas morning, and my prime rib roast is going in the oven, I've got a moment to comment! First off, my thanks to the staff at GA I've said it before, and it bears repeating, this story site hands down is the first among equals, if not the best out there. I'm an omnivore when it comes to reading the stories here; I like all types and the wide range we have here! As some others have noted, for some of us, technology challenged, I am strongly in favor of the KISS rule...Keep It Simple, Stupid, and stupid refers to me and others who are so challenged. Give me a box of toothpicks, and I could build you a house...oh well. I'm on the PC whenever home, when out of the house, my phone is always with me. If I'm off to an appointment, so is my tablet while I wait. I was stunned to see that if it weren't for Premium Members, the site would go dark. As a thought towards attracting new members, would reducing the cost slightly attract new members? Not sure where the income from advertising would be affected if there were a lower tier of membership. Needless to say, I will remain a member regardless... Looking forward to the changes like a wisdom tooth extraction...just kidding.... It is disheartening for me to see so many great stories by some fantastic authors languish in long-term hold for what seems like eons. There are times I wish a story weren't published until it is complete, but sometimes life simply doesn't work that way, and I patiently wait. I'm looking forward to the tributes to the dearly departed members. I'm already blocking out some thoughts! I've been a member since early 2011, and a reader well before that, and so very glad I found this place. As a parting thought concerning moods, could we have flatulent?

Poor Slav, let's hope he 'adjusts' to the new emviroment!! -
Loved this, a bit over the top...but that is what made it work!! The story of my mispent youth..... “Holding steady,” Zane said. “We picked up two more stray freighters this morning. Word is getting out. ‘The Prismatic Armada.’ People want to join. Mostly people with bad haircuts and authority issues.”

What could possibly go wrong???? $$What she needs, Master River, is a complete engine overhaul performed by licensed professionals, followed by a rigorous exorcism,$$ FITON corrected with funereal precision. $$I am currently holding the starboard stabilizer array together with a virtual prayer and a redirected sewage containment field energy buffer. It is… inelegant. If anyone flushes the waste reclamation unit too aggressively, the field will collapse, the stabilizer will detach, and we will promptly vaporize in a rather pathetic cloud of misdirected effluvia.$$

Amen brother, as a confirmed meatatarian, variety is the spice of life, I like my ribeyes, plain, with a butter garlic sauce, AI and or worcestershire, all depends on the mood... The Capital Grille's Porcini Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye with 15-Year Aged Balsamic sauce is one of the best steaks I've ever had...

What little I do know about computers would indicate to me to simply isolate the damned computer, not necessarily turning it off, but sever its connection to any other computer or network. Eliminate any ability to communicate with anything....anywhere, anytime...

Just love the way Eleanor was viserated...A scene worth of one certain @Summerabbacat....and so justly deserved. “I don’t want to hear your excuses,” Claire said, her voice low but razor-edged. “You never should have opened that door without calling me or Dan. You know that. You spent my entire childhood drilling that rule into me—never trust credentials, never trust uniforms, always verify—and the moment it was inconvenient for you, you broke it.” ********* Her voice dropped to a near whisper, the most dangerous sound of all. “You didn’t protect my family. You broke it.” I have to believe that Cassandra called Walter, and Walter knows so much more than he's letting on...I suspect he will do anything to cover his ass!!! ******************* Walter Greene stood near the glass, hands folded loosely in front of him, suit immaculate, expression unreadable. He didn’t turn when they came in. Greg exhaled through his nose. “You move fast.” Josh should never be allowed to take part in the reconstruction of the accident...did anyone pick up on that only the chase vehicle will be bulletproof??? Walter shook his head. “I’ll call the Secret Service for that one.” Greg looked up sharply. “Why?” Walter didn’t hesitate. “Because if we’re doing a reenactment that close to a classified ignition point,” he said calmly, dialing, “the chase vehicle should probably be bulletproof.” Rodney grows on you. Will he be assigned to be a full-time nurse/caregiver for Josh??? Do not trust Walter unless he is totally forthcoming!!!!
