Chapter 9 Is It All Just A Dream...
Jammi commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 9 Is It All Just A Dream...
I think this chapter turned out perfectly great transfer between the present and the flashback, and you definitely could feel for David as he relived the story. Christian's reactions were those you'd expect from someone watching a shocking episode of As The World Turns or something lol. I kid, but seriously his reactions are genuine and i can tell he feels bad that he doesn't remember and that all of it happened. Maybe it's good he doesn't remember? He can be spared that pain at least. Loved the kiss; Chris is starting to give in to those overwhelming feelings he's experiencing, and David is more then willing to go along with him great chapter chica, a fun read and can't wait to see this date *winks* and what secrets Tag ends up revealing -
wow drama, drama and even more drama . I stand by my opinion of Amanda she is a bitch with a capital B. And its obvious Mike likes to stir up trouble oy vey. and Ethan, um buddy you don't bring your personal beefs to the field you big dummy. thats how you lose games...as you so skillfully proved *shakes head* So Tanner has been helping this lot to pass hmmm. oy poor guy trying to get out of an impossible situation. Now Gibby overheard too this should be interesting for sure. Love that Tanner glanced up and smiled at Gibby briefly before going back into the game. Personally i don't think he's touch Amanda with a ten foot pole. I'm starting to understand why Tanner stays separated from this group a little bit, i hope he distances himself further this group is not good for him at all. Let him hang with Gibby that would be nice great chapter KC . I wanted to throttle Amanda for what she said about Gibby, she's just lucky his dad didn't hear her.

Chapter 8 A Road Once Traveled...
Jammi commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 8 A Road Once Traveled...
oy poor Chris. he's just not having an easy time of it is he? first he talks to his mom, and that conversation goes south real fast. Then he talks to David and finds out he hasn't talked to his mom in years. top that off with learning what happened with his father, the man just can't catch a break can he? It's gotta suck since he's essentially learning this information a second time and thus going through it all again. can i give him a hug? There's so much to like about this; I'm glad Christian is letting David help him, and also mayhaps needing his help just a little wanting it. and David's patience probably helps. Belligerent parents are always fun to write and you do it so well. love the chapter kimkim -
Wow, just wow Neph. What a gorgeous story. The tension was built right from the start with him waiting for Raven to come home and it just kept on mounting. I had a feeling that something was wrong, but with your way with words one can't help but get wrapped up in Leif's insecurities and imaginings. i did find myself being upset with Leif for being childish and not answering the phone when people were trying to call him. but he was caught up in his anger and he was hurt, it was very sad and tragic. very nicely done. you're so good!

And Tanner gets more intriguing with every chapter. Amanda is a brat, and that's being nice. Oy seems even her daddy doesn't know what to do with her and tries to make peace. Ethan needs to grow some balls lol. Nice to see Tanner saying no to whatever it is she's trying to get him to do. obviously makes her mad that she seemingly doesn't have him under her thumb anymore. what was that about? guess we'll find out as the story progresses. i'm sad that this is the last chapter for now. i'll be waiting anxiously for the next one

Amanda is upset that Gibby knew the answers in class oh dear she's determined to make his life a living hell. there's one in every school. i don't think she really needs a reason to be a bitch she just is. since daddy is principal she thinks she can get away with it. Tanner is my favorite character, he's just a mass of contradictions and that in of itself is intriguing. He's obviously pretty bright, he's gorgeous, and on the football team, and he likes to read...wonder what he is reading. He is a stark contrast to the other peeps he hangs out with hmmmmm really want to know more about him. Great chapter, this story is falling into place nicely. again the chapters are just enough to wet the appetite, i always want some more

I love the name Tanner! not a name used often which is nice and makes it authentically unique. this character i am interested in, he sounds cute, seems nice and somewhat different from his buddies; ethan, and the twins. I like twins btw so having mark and mike in the story is really cool. can't wait to find out more about them. the burnt meat comment was exactly the type of thing ignorant teenagers say, so very well played sir the cast of characters is definitely interesting, and Gibby's first day didn't go too horribly all things considered. Amanda is a piece of work, there's one like her in every school lol. Definitely intrigued by Tanner he seems the quietest of the group he hangs with and i bet there's a story there just waiting to be told. Can't wait to see what happens next
-
awww being the new kid is never easy. I'm going to keep my eye on Amanda lol she seems like a piece of work. Looks like Gibby's off to an interesting start on his first day. can't wait to see how the rest of the day goes for him.

Great chapter! First of all i love Gibby and Jonathan's relationship. You can tell that Jonathan loves his son, and that Gibby loves his dad despite how he lashes out sometimes. It really is like them against the world, just the two of them trying to move past the tragedy that altered their lives. I love again the small little clues into what's going on here. It's sad to think that Gibby could have died in this fire, and that he's got scars over 40% of his body. KNowing that Jonathan almost lost him just further cements to me how much JOnathan loves his kid, and i have no doubt he's going to do whatever it takes to protect Gibby. that was very apparent in the restaurant when Jonathan stares down the patrons in the diner. poor gibby, is it any wonder he's self conscious about his scars? I did love him flirting with Scott. That whole scene worked out so well. Gibby very easily could have been talking about a hot date lol thus giving validity to Scott's jealousy ha! nicely done. off to read the next chapter

The title of this caught my attention immediately, and then talking to Kim about it, i knew i just had to read. I'm definitely not disappointed. The beginning drew me in immediately, and i wanted to know more about this small town, not to mention Gibby and his dad. It's not easy starting over, and with such a tragic loss as these two have had, it's definitely going to be difficult. It was easy to feel the sadness and the pain they are feeling, and I love the small clues we get like Gibby wearing long sleeves, and the charred picture frame plus the fact that his things fit into a box. This chapter was just enough to wet my appetite and keep me hungry for mer. so i'm going to go read the next chapter. this was a great start!

Chapter 7 I Think I Can. I Think I Can...
Jammi commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 7 I Think I Can. I Think I Can...
There is so much to love about this chapter. Christian was very brave to take on both his sons even though he has no memory of them. I love how he never truly lets them know he doesn't remember them. Also love the looks Liam gave his daddy when he thought he was asking strange questions. Little details like that make the scene work perfectly The breakfast scene was funny too lol at least they want to eat oatmeal now, guess we can call it a win right haha. Christian did a good job over all with the Kids. and I'm glad he made some headway in his doctor appointment. I agree with Dr. Reeder. admitting you are attracted to your husband does not a soul bearing make Christian! i did like the conversation david and Chris had on the phone and the guys taggart and Jimmy are awesome. just a great chapter all around. can't wait to see what happens next chica! -
This was so nicely done a great introduction to the characters and I love the tiny details. Immediately the narrative draws you in and on an added note Making Love Out Of Nothing At All is one of my fave songs. The lyric fit the chapter nicely

Ah so it was Joey who told him to stop. Very nice...Joey is like an angel, he's Andy's Angel and i have a feeling he really will be andy's light in the darkness. Can't wait to see how that plays out. I totally understand him forgiving JT too. he would understand where JT must be right now. Will that change JT's behavior now? I guess only time will tell. I see the story is starting to delve into very powerful messages and plots here Billy. Very intriguing and i can't wait to see what tribulations Andy and his friends will have to face. Also really liked the scene between Andy and his mom very intense. can't wait to see what happens next
-
Kevin and Jonas eh ? are you a jonas brother fan by any chance *laughs* Billy this was a good chapter. i am intrigued by Andy's dream since it really freaked him out. I'm glad the family was so supportive, though i am definitely not surprised. they seem like really good people and they love Andy Roger and Joey. I'm starting to feel for J.T a little bit. it seems like his father is the reason he acts the way he does . different environment may change his attitude perhaps? guess only time will tell. Oh dear the guys are going to get in trouble for fighting in school again! poor Joey always getting picked on, glad Andy and Roger were there to take down the bullies. was it the principal who stopped them? great chapter !

Kimkim you know how much i love this! still it's only right that i comment I loved this chapter. David was worried sick, i couldn't help but snicker as he tried to fix his phone but his nerves wouldn't stay calm enough for him to succeed. I love Tag already, and i'm glad he's a part of Christan's life still. It's nice that theres a link to the past that Chris can cling to as he tries to remember his present. I'm glad Christian came back and that he and david are going to be patient with each other as they both try to cope with this. Love that David kisses him every night too i know that's important! and the ending was very nice btw as was the scene where Chris watched David shower lol. beautiful stuff chica!

five minutes *sigh* just beautiful neph. loved it all of it. okay lets see; first, love the name Ryden; very unique and original. I was immediately hooked on the story just from the opening dialogue. I felt myself wanting to learn more about Mary and Helen, not to mention what happened to Ryden to put him in this position. and I also was wondering along with them about Luke though i admit i had a sinking suspicion about the answer. Still the dialogue and intermingling summaries kept me enthralled from beginning to end. i don't think there is a way to praise this effectively but i loved it. Luke's love for Ryden was clear and unstoppable. great story i'm sad it's over but it was lovely

this is so angsty its lovely. i like how you've crafted out this story, i can feel the emotions of the characters its very powerful.
-
girl i don't know if i want to kill you or hug you. that was so good. i'll give a complete review after third chapter as well, but man what a ride. can we just make robert go away, i hope he realizes he may have just sealed his son's fate the bastard
-
That was sweet and simple. Nice way to end the story. Very nice Renee.
-
Awww somebody's getting married! Nice very nice
-
Glad Jared realized running wasn'tthe answer. Also glad Kyle was determined to go after him. They both learned something there and that's good! The sooner they realize they can handle these things better together , the better off they will be
-
I'm curious about Matt's reaction to this. He was dating chel after all. You've definitely kept my interest piqued
-
I was right it was Chelsea. Goodness sounds like she really had some issues. I thought at first she was mad at Jared for hurting her brother. I like what you came up with though. Poor Kyle when he thought Jared was dead. And once again live that Matt was in protective mode the whole time
-
Not sure what to think of the suspense there honestly. It almost seemed too convenient to me and almost too easy. on the other hand though I like that Matt and Kyle are making up. Can't wait to unravel this mystery.
