  1. Why would you mix all of that together? You making a hash?
  2. Mum says now don't get in a tizzy Albert. Gary's doc is being thorough in getting to understand how healthy his heart is.
  3. Glad you like him. Mum says it's important to feel good about your doc, means alot to future health. I'd say he was being thorough in his information gathering. Also, a good thing.
  4. Mum had a good visit with her cardiologist. How did your's go?
  5. G'day y'all from this bit of the not so warm and sunny South.
  6. Thank you both.
  7. Well usually I accuse you of being a hopeless romantic and using love to achieve redemption. I still think you're a hopeless romantic but sometimes romance is not enough and love doesn't always bring redemption in the way we expect. Here instead of redeeming Scott you use love to redeem Dan. Scott isn't in a place to be redeemed, not saying that it might not come some day but it isn't going to be Dan's love that brings him redemption. Dan however is finally where he needs to be for the love of his friends to reach him and give him the support to extract himself from a bad relationship but more importantly for his love of self to spur him to act in his own best interest. So while it's sad that their relationship had to end it's a good thing that it did. While this might not seem like your typical work it is imbued with your usual consumate skill. Nicely done, very nicely done.
  8. Now that we're here and I have time I'm off to read Gary's latest story.
  9. Mum's neighbor had homemade beef stew waiting in the fridge when we got home. It was simply heat and eat for a tasty meal.
  10. Why? I mean, I really like peanut butter cookies but why flourless?
  11. No faceplants, we arrived safely. However, it's a chilly 47/8°, rainy and windy. Typical of November in PA.
  12. G'day y'all. Waiting for mum to finish in the shower then it's my turn. After we'll grab a bit of brekkie and hit the road, hoping when I hit it's not a face plant. Expect to reach mum's by early afternoon.
  13. Some fellow here in the states was just recently bitten by an alligator while out hunting. He survived and kept the leg but was badly injured.
  14. It's about 43/6° here in NC, which is chilly for this time of year. When we get to mum's later it will be in the low 50's/11° and rainy. That's typical winter time weather.
  15. I am amazed at what children are wearing while they stand waiting for the school bus. Tee shorts and basketball shorts in subfreezing weather. These are privileged children who've only known reliable central heating.
  16. I am, thank you.

Thank you. The little fella peeks out periodically but has naught to say.
