These dance on feet both quick and slow, then tiptoe as quiet as mice before swirling away in blissful steps. I marvel sir at your skill. Thank you for this gift you share. May have a Joyous and Merry Christmas and a Blessed and Happy New Year.
So I found a recipe for Galatine of turkey. A turkey, typically a hen, was deboned then stuffed with a mixture of forcemeat (sausage), chopped apple, butter or suet, chopped pistachios and eggs, seasoned with ground coriander and allspice. The bird was stitched closed, wrapped in brownpaper then muslin before boiling in water with carrot and celery for 1.5 to 2 hours. Then served cold.
Boiled turkey, hmmm, I wasn't aware they prepared the bird that way. I need to do a bit of research on the how to's.
Thanks for sharing this story with us.
Ohhh, I see. I've had a few, 2 or 3 of one kind, 1 of another, a handful of another. Plenty remain even having made of trays of cookies to share. We made 19 varieties and most made 4 or 5 dozen. Yep plenty of cookies.
Why must you wait? Are you not permitted to indulge in holiday treats until Santa has his taste? If it would help, I, as a jolly old fat fellow offer to come by for a nibble.
How do you serve scrambled egg and cheese sandwiches? Do they not fall apart.
We had homemade cheesy potato soup. Needed easy comfort food as the weather is most awful, raining heavily and blowing. Fortunately it's not chilly too. Left the crockpot do most of the work so there was the added benefit of tasty smells drifting through the house. I am in day four of a migraine. Not as bad as the ones in the not so good old days since the Ajovy has greatly reduced the intensity of my migraines. Still it's a nasty one and I haven't had one drag on like this recently. Maybe it's because I'm due for my next series of injections in about 2.5 weeks. Okay, enough of my complaining.
Thanks we will be. Delivered cookies to her mechanic this morning and plan on going out to lunch and to deliver cookies to a nearby cafe she and my stepdad used to frequent.
Careful there about encouraging readers to grab their pitchforks. Some might be inclined to give you a good prodding ... 🤔 ... I meant with the pitchfork ☺️

No, not condemning, just seeking clarification. He, Page, claims to have been sleeping in a proper bed so it seems he is discounting sleeping in a basket.
It was an excellent choice to do a Christmas vignette starring these two. They're an intriguing duo. Anxious to see more you have in store for them
Merry Christmas WQ.
And life goes on ... an enjoyable if all too brief visit.
Happy Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you and yours (that includes all your faithful readers) Carlos.
