  1. G'day y'all. Leaving soon for the shop. Time to clean and prep for the Celtic Fling in two weeks. Kilting season fast approaches. Blessed be.
  2. A bouncey castle does not count as a military base. Howdy Texy.

    GMA XXVI

I expect to be here in twenty years. I also, expect a new book of no less than twenty-five chapters to appear each year betwixt now and then providing insights into the lives of that power couple, their kids and their vastly extended family. That schedule seems doable. One chapter every other Friday. Roughly 500 chapters, shouldn't be that difficult, right?

    Adventure

I'm pleased for Eric. Having made the decision to take the trip and then getting Andy to help him plan it out was a big step. Actually overcoming the obstacles and reaching Leominster should be a confidence builder. Then seeing someone familiar, a potential friend, would be incentive to do so again. Adam is not going to be happy when he learns about his mother's bruises. It's good that there will be a bit of fun beforehand.

    Chapter 13

While the wait was long the chapter was well worth it. To be deceived and betrayed by those you trust. We thought Diarmid was paranoid when in fact there was a reason for him to worry. He just looked in the wrong direction.
  6. I did and it was fine, thanks.
  7. Wilted in shame more like it 😪
  8. Did you offer him a choice ... what if he was gay? He could be traumatized. Did he wilt shamefully when the deed was done?
  9. That's certainly good news. Mum and I are happy for them.
  10. She's been force pollinating her zucchini ...
  11. If you let those guys do the therapy sessions you'll never be released ...
  12. Uhm ... yeah ... well, maybe ... he had a Michigan drivers license he offered as ID ... though now you ask, the picture was a little blurry.
  13. You should have seen him before he fell under Val's tender care ...

Life is but a tapestry ... there are always loose threads ...

    GMA XXVI

Damn but you made me cry ... but this time with joy. We celebrated my son's 38th birthday this past week. I remember all of those feelings tumbling through me ... joy, trepidation, downright terror and love. One look at that tiny face and those little eyes looking back ... I have never loved so deeply as in that moment. I can close my eyes and hear Owen's voice as he pours his heart into a lullaby for that tiny person who is now the center of his and CJ's universe ... their angel Liebe. You've done yourself proud with this chapter.
  16. I haven't either. Just read that he'd gained 40 some pounds rather that use prosthetics.
  17. Greetings Albert. I am well enough thanks. You? Well that's a silly question. You told us the results of your stress test. Did the doc give any suggestions/instructions other than see you next year?
  18. I don't think so. I think he did it purposefully for the most recent Avengers movie.
  19. Don't fret bro it'll only mess with your sleep.
  20. That's what happens to the herd on Val's cheesecake diet.
  21. Voice number 42.
  22. Hey Page, did you know that chili and molé are different things?

    Voyageur

This sings like an old Welsh or Irish ballad. I sense the presence of others gathered amidst the flickering firelit shadows enraptured as the bard spins the tale ...
  24. That went very well. Excellent chapter.
  25. Geez, how could I forget to mention cinnamon? I use it too. Like you, I vary things as I go. Sometimes, this is when I've planned ahead, I'll cook the meat, usually cubed beef or pork in the crockpot with some red wine or bourboun until it's tender then throw in everything else and left it simmer overnight.
