Speaking of parking, it also drives me nuts when someone parks so that they are taking up TWO spaces. And they always do it when the parking lot is crowded. I remember when I worked at B&N and it was the last Saturday before Christmas and someone parked with their car right in the middle of two parking spaces. I had been in the parking lot for at least five minutes looking for a spot and I totally lost my head and started screaming at the person who parked there (even though he/she was obviously--and luckily--not there to hear me). If I wasn't running late, I would have keyed them.

When people at the supermarket just leave their shopping cart in the parking lot instead of taking it to the corral or heaven forbid, back into the store. It takes up an entire parking spot!

I began discovered I was bisexual in high school. I had plenty of guys I liked, but I couldn't help noticing some of the girls as well. At first, I was really freaked out and tried to rationalize it by telling myself that it was just because the girls were attractive and people were naturally attracted to attractive people. (How much sense did that make)? I finally accepted it and started to explore my feelings when I was in college and had my first same sex experiences. I don't tell many people because I have some homophobic family members and I don't really want all the drama. If I find a woman I want to spend my life with, then we'll cross that bridge when we come to it

I saw the old version of the Amityville horror when I was a little girl and all I could remember was the creature outside of the little girl's room and the blood running down the walls *shiver* Very creepy

Paranormal Activity scared me (I had to sleep with the TV on)! but two movies that really got to me was Fire in the Sky and Titus. Titus got to me so bad that I had to turn the movie off before it was over and I wouldn't even talk to anyone for several hours afterwards.

It is too bad this type of story wasn't too your taste though I applaud your decision to read something that was obviously outside your comfort zone. The Not The Sun series is meant to be a full story arc, however, I felt it was too much content to cram into one book, so I separated it over a three part series. The cliff hangers and suspense that you mentioned was quite deliberate, to draw readers to the next chapter or story. I don't believe all trilogies must have a separate contained story (look at Star Wars, Part V or the Lord of the Rings). Maybe trilogies aren't to your taste? Anyway, I know that I cannot write a story that can appeal to every single reader out there…I doubt anyone can…but I enjoy hearing feedback from somewhat who normally does not read the kind of fiction I enjoy writing.
