    My dad had to come out during my first easter egg hunt to tell me to look for eggs on the ground. I figured eggs were in nests, which were in trees, so I was looking up and not at all the eggs hidden in the grass and bushes.

    Had two cataract surgeries earlier this year. My bifocal glasses will be ready in 2 weeks...when the hell did I get this old?

    Lots happening this chapter. The world building is excellent. While I like Callum, I think I sympathetize more with the Pactrids. I was driving to visit a sick relative last weekend and drove past a patch of land that obviously used to house trees, but there was nothing left but stumps and branches. It probably used to be beautiful. And now it's just gone.

    I would have set my car alarm off if it were me. I've had mine go off accidentally multiple times and it's the most obnoxious and loud thing I've ever heard.

    I lost all of my old fan fiction in a fire back in 2012, so I can't go back and cringe, but I know I would, so hard. They were BAD.

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I like Alex and Derek together in their new relationship as well. Maria doesn't think the boys should be together at all and is not very good at minding her own business. She was also a friend of Ethan's so that is affecting her perceptive as well, but she's still definitely in the wrong here.
