Definitely a relief that Logan seems on the way to a good recovery, for Tilly's sake. If I was Keller, I'd be just as uncomfortable with the savior talk. It will be interesting to see how Vega handles their options (well, only one real option...). Hopefully not a pack divided, and hopefully able to blend well into Morningstar. Cute ending. -
Bobby gets major brownie points here, for sure. As far as Destiny goes, John's told us in an earlier chapter that she's usually fairly cryptic about the future so this probably wasn't all that surprising for him. After all, she wants him to live his life and not be bound to a set of predictions that may or may not come true.

Emma is not a woman to cross, that's for sure. She knows what she wants and she gets it. I think by this point in their lives Christian has had enough time to bounce back, thankfully. A more relaxed teacher is definitely a good thing - or at least one that is confident. I had a very strong-willed teacher in my last English class in high school. She could rip apart a student's ego like no other. She was generally feared but respected and was actually an excellent teacher with good humour - humour that you only saw if you took her advanced english class.

Such a heartwarming chapter, even if there is much that still may go wrong on the horizon. I have faith in Peter and Patrick's ability to weather any storm. Can't wait to see how Fiona will fit into the beautiful Web of this family (or not?). It's a name that I'very always liked, bringing to mind a caring strength behind gentle beauty that can have a stern edge. -
December 25 2021 Ah, Christmas. It was interesting, being one of the faculty with no family to go home to, staying with the students who also had no place to go home to. I said last month that I’ve always hated Thanksgiving because of all the bullshit with my parents and extended family. December 23 2021 Emma called me to her office for a brief meeting today. For some reason I was expecting Sean to be there but it was just the two of us. I guess he’s already back in Ireland to celebrate the holidays and fit in some father-daughter time with Theresa while visiting some of their extended family. I agree with Gary, this chapter was frustratingly short. But it feels like next chapter could be trouble with the addition of members of the other clans into the picture. There are ways in which Ritch is still a puzzle, but less so now that we've got more information. One has to wonder exactly how bad it was, and whether his former captor has something to do with all this in some roundabout way.

John is definitely putting himself out in risky territory, isn't he? Maybe the risky feeling is only in his head/heart. I'd be terribly anxious about it if I was him, though. I totally get it. I thought this was one of my weaker chapters, to be honest. It's a bit all over the place in terms of content since it's more just an update on things from past chapters. I'm glad you liked it.
