Sometimes we miss what is right in front of us. Frank found Chris and everything else was just gravy.

I always try to give you enough information that you will know the characters. I'm a people watcher and use that when trying to create my characters. Hopefully, I give you the information without bashing you over the head with it.

We are barely into November and the holidays are right around the corner. For most, this is the happiest time of the year. Unfortunately, I am looking at the loss of friends. This year has been rough. I've faced my own mortality, my own stupidity, and then death kept knocking. I was barely out of the hospital, when a young soldier found military life didn't suit him. He wrote to tell me he was sorry, but he had too much blood on his hands and the next thing I heard was he'd committed suicide. My brother and sister-in-law came up from Florida. My sister-in-law spent just over a week up here dealing with her mother as illness stole everything from her. My brother got time off and rushed up in time to help his wife and her family deal with the death. I managed to see them for all of maybe 5 hours for the first time in nine years when my mother passed. So the year isn't over. We have reached autumn and here in the Northeast the leaves are changing and the temperature is dropping. While most are focusing on the holidays, my attention turns inward and my memory is filled with those I have loved and lost. The only thing I can do is go on. Never miss the chance to say you love someone. You never know when that might be your last opportunity.

For now Seeon is complete. I'm working hard at finishing incomplete tales and one that I began but never published. Once that is done, then, maybe I'll come back.

Alarm bells are going off. I really don't like Ben. I am not sure what he holds over Amara but I want him gone.

I always enjoyed Spike, so I couldn't do less for Rose. Glad you enjoyed it. I usually lean toward a HEA story.

Spike was a vampire character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a TV series by Joss Whedon. He was a British character with a snarky comment for everything, and eventually got his soul back so he could try to be with Buffy. Not a favorite of CIA's. Lol I'm glad you enjoyed the tale otherwise Cole.

Rose is a typical English Rose. A beauty to behold, but hard to get close to due to her thorns. Glad you enjoyed. I had figured someone might spot my nod to Buffy, by having Allison dress up as Daphne from Scooby Doo, who Michelle Gellar played in the movie. 😊
