News to me... text editor: -word internet: -firefox other major bits of software i use pretty much daily: -photoshop -excel -winamp -utorrent ...and a whole bunch of protein manipulation proggies too many to list operating system: -windows xp (Although I've managed to delete most of my hard drive twice through my ignorance, which I've been told is quite an accomplishment) -Katrina (OK, she's my roomate, but really, she IS my operating system--I'm such a lost cause with computers...) I use .doc unless otherwise requested. It seems fairly common with the people I deal with... -db

    Thats like me when I try and study. I spend half the day organising my room and then get so tired I need to nap....and then its time to eat...and um...then the day is over. I'm off to P.A. (Procrastinators Anonymous) next tuesday...you should come too.

    On a more serious note, and not to throw wet socks at you, I'm with SnowDog on this one. Fifteen hundred words to 'explore' a topic is questionable in my mind. I'd be surprised if even professional authors would find that an easy task. Also, what sort of exposure does this publication receive? Big reader base? Small? Do you get many submissions? And perhaps Snow Dog needs to visit a washroom before posting...maybe~ -db

    My first thought was "how many ways could there possibly be to fold a sheet?" Then I went and tried it. <-me crying Ah, better I find out now than later. I only have two rotating sets, so one is always in the laundry or on my bed, I never ran into the problem before...haha db

    hey James, Do let us know how it works out. I know when I tried to switch to voice recognition I got frustrated with my decreased output and switched back. On the other hand, I have several friends that use it with great success, I guess you get what you put in. good luck! db
