  1. Irion has certainly had his share of misfortunes in life, but it hasn't made him mean and cruel like so many others. Even though the mayor's taking care of the boys, it'd still be nice for him to be a part of their lives. They could then all three say goodbye to Zarch.
  2. I like this and I'm adding it to my list to follow. Thanks for the intro, it got me interested. I have to know what happens next.

    Chapter 2

Jack is a tough nut to crack, but Zane is a very smart and focused boy. He's patient and plans ahead. Very atypical behavior for a teen, -and he's good not evil. He's a nice guy and I like him. He's not all cynical and dramatic, but he is bored, lonely... I've enjoyed this story so far, thanks.

    Chapter 18

This chapter has a split personality: Yirgi gets Jarra caught up on all the new stuff, then the boys go exploring Yirgella's secret gardens. I searched each of the Aussie fungi as I saw them mentioned. Then you list some of the same sites I found. Fungi have always interested me, but ours in North America are different. I've never seen one here glow. Some do smell bad though. I enjoyed the chapter as always.

    Chapter 1

The power of a kiss, -don't underestimate it. There is such a contrast between the typical characters of the two girls just out to have fun, and the seriousness of the boys who are already so concerned with their futures and desires that can't happen. It's sort of sad, but they're only 18 and they have hope.

    Boy River

There are good people and bad people. I think most are somewhere in between the two extremes. I always used to make allowances for bad behavior and think there has to be an explanation for it. The older I get the more I come to realize that there's no viable reason for how badly people treat others, especially how bad people abuse and exploit children. They are simply bad people and that's all to it. It's a shame how often the bad guys get away with their crimes too. The victims get shuffled back into the world as damaged goods. It's so unfair. I'm happy to see Rush and Ben again, and especially happy to see them commit to support and help a damaged boy. Gives me hope that such support actually happens in real life. Thanks for the fine story.

    Melvyn Ford

I hadn't read this story before, so it was a big surprise to read it and see how similar it was in some ways to my own family history. My grandfather worked for Ford Motor Company back in the 20's and 30's. He bought a Model A during that time and kept it through WWII. Dad was born in 1928 and when he came of age Grandpa gave him the car. Dad had the car all through college and I've got a picture of him and my mother getting ready to drive off on their honey- moon in it. Dad was stationed in rural Pennsylvania during the Korean War. I don't imagine the old black car was very unique there in Landcaster County. Perhaps the novelty began to wear off at that time, since the Amish drive black buggies even today. He kept the car in storage for a number of years, but eventually sold it. The first car I remember was a Ford Falcon station wagon. It was turquoise and white, -anything but black.

    Chapter 1

This is as fine a story of the afterlife (or heaven) as any I've ever read. How you created this tale out of just four given words astounds me. It's a testament to your talent and creativity. Thanks for posting it.

    Chapter 8

Well, this chapter was certainly a surprise and it's over before it seemed to start. Not exactly a classic happy ending, -too vague for that, but at least there's lot's of hope and optimism, especially for Le'Ton and Chen. More to come?

    Chapter 6

These Titans are a divisive element even on good behavior. It makes me worry about what they are capable of when they act out. Is Chen some sort of Mata Hari trying to snag Le'Ton into her/his web? The tensions are growing as the voyage continues... it's exciting.

    Chapter 17

Discombobulated was the first really big word I learned as a boy. I'm delighted to see someone else use it, -of course it would be you! The interactions of the boys are always my favorite parts of the story. Thanks for the big dose this chapter.

    Chapter 3

Jason's parents are so unhappy, and I admit that I feel no sympathy with them. They're all about themselves, and shallow rich people are difficult even when times are good. When things go wrong they can be impossible. Now we get to hear his father's opinion...I'd be surprised if it is pleasant moment.

    Chapter 6

This is a beautiful chapter and a delight to read.

    Chapter 16

The hateful luddites are back again ruining everything. I'm glad that nobody was hurt, -so far.

    Chapter 4

I'm with Lest in wanting this mission to be over with as soon as possible. These Titans make me nervous, and after doing what they've done and getting away with it, what's to stop them from trying to do it again?
  16. I'm happy that the story will continue at a later date, since the situation at the end is anything but secure for our boys and the furballs. There is a question I have that doesn't relate to the dramatic elements of the story, and is really unimportant but nags at me anyway: What color are the furballs? I have the idea that they are green, brown, or gray, but tell me what you picture them as being. I know it's a silly matter but I am curious, and it won't go away. Yes, I do know that I have an odd mind.

    Chapter 3

We're off to the edge of the Galaxy with unidentified cargo and four strange murderous passengers. This whole trip sounds shady as hell. I am certainly curious about this venture. The back story is going to be good, I'm sure.

    Beginning

So it ends... for now. I'm so happy to get to know Kyle, Jim, Tag and his many furball companions. You must revive Echo! Also, part of me wanted a big bolt of lightning out of a clear orange sky to fry the Commander's nasty, hateful ass, but I know she'll come in handy in this pending invasion. She'll understand the travelers, -she's just as like them. Wicked, ruthless bitch! Who better to fight them? I have more questions but I'll save them for later. I love this story. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

A little bit of nostalgia in this chapter with the music and the recreational activities, -and no bad shit happening. Puts me in a 70's frame of mind. I kind of miss those times, but they're gone and won't ever come back will they?

    Chapter 2

Jeff seems to fit right in with the crew of the Horus now, and it's nice to see more familiar characters from the first story. Now, about these shady pirates... what are they up to?

    Echo

The power behind the dreaded threat turns out to be another piece of ancient technology and the AI couldn't have a better name. 'Echo' has the unstoppable power of a god but an attitude like an old family retainer... a long retired butler, -past the prime of life but still capable. Then, as if we'd grow complacent, you give us the idea that Echo is about finished, and we have to wait until Friday to find out more. You beast! -I love it.

    Chapter 1

I'm happy to see this new story, since I liked Space Pioneer so much. Jeff and Lest are favorite characters, and now they have a new adventure. I'm curious to see how their relationship has developed.

    Spire

Tension and more revelations. I'm impressed by the ancient technology that still works. A truly bad day for the furballs however. They feel such pain. Sadly, the new voice frightens them. I hope the guys can corral them into the tower, -and fast. I hate this army and that wicked Commander.
  24. Stephen

    Confrontation

The commander dares to call Kyle and Jim monsters. I'm hating her more with each encounter. Arrogant pride coupled with stupidity is a bad combination, -a deadly one in this case. It's easy to see who the real monster is here, but can she be stopped in time?

    Friends

There we all were happy and hunky-dory and this Planetary Government thing comes along to ruin it all, leaving us worried again and saddled with another cliffhanger. No time to enjoy love, friendship, and a snack, -Godzilla's here! I'm beginning to really hate these government people.
