The Field of Love Chapter 17 “Wow Tony, how are you? What’s with the wheelchair? When did you get here?” Sammy finally caught his breath, but before Tony could answer, “have you been released? Why didn’t you tell me? Are you in any pain?” Tony’s mother held her hands up and said, “Sammy dear, take a breath, slow down. We aren’t going anywhere.” She looked down at a smiling Tony and said, “Don’t encourage him, Tony.” “But mom, I’ve never seen him like this. It’s funny a

The Field of Love Chapter 16 “So, there I was, covered in flour, a half-eaten cookie in my mouth, and my mom came into the kitchen,” Mike said through fits of laughter. “What did you do?” Sammy asked as he rolled over on his side. He adjusted the phone to his ear and added, “She must have been so pissed.” “I was five, how pissed could she really be,” Mike said indifferently. “Though she yelled at James for not watching me close enough.” Sammy sighed. “I wish I h

The Field of Love Chapter 15 “All they can talk about is Andy,” Brent muttered as he stared at the back of Sammy’s head. They had been on the bus for about twenty minutes on their way to Knott County. He turned to look at Eddie Boggs. “All I hear is Andy this, Andy that. He isn’t even here.” Eddie’s voice laced with disgust replied. “I thought one queer was bad. What’s it gonna be like when they are three?” Brent spat, “The whole league is already making fun of us as

One can never tell what an evil author will do with a character.

They aren't written yet. I plan on three to five books/stories with Andy, Joey, Roger, Sammy, Mile, and others from T&T involved.

The Field of Love Chapter 14 Andy shifted in his seat and glanced at his father, who was busy reading something on his phone. He had spent so much time in the waiting room he knew most of the hospital staff by name. He had grown to hate the overly bright room with its out-of-date magazines and antiseptic smell. And the worst thing, he knew he would be spending much of his life in this room or one just like it. He sighed as he kicked his legs out in front of him. “How a

The Field of Love Chapter 13 Sammy followed the other boys into the spacious living room. He took in the old worn couch; white was never his favorite color, but it looked comfy. There was a big screen TV on the wall and several comfortable recliners. This room felt lived in and it brought a feeling of acceptance he hadn’t always felt. As the boys took their seats, Andy called out, “We have coke, iced tea, bottled water, water with bubbles…” Miss Nancy interrupted with

I've been around GA for 14 years in one form or another. I've read many great stories by amazing authors who could very well be published and earning money for their talent. Yet, they are here on GA offering their works to all of us for free. Since I was able to spend more time on this site. This past year gave me to urge to write again after reading more amazing stories. I was inspired by the many awesome authors. However, being inspired doesn't mean one has the talent to actually accomplish your quest. I have come to realize that I do not possess the knowledge or educational background to make my stories interesting enough to make this endeavor worth the frustration I may cause anyone who attempts to help me. I always have different scenarios about many situations running through my head. Perhaps they are better off staying there. Maybe I should have more sex in my stories. I was once told I was a brilliant cyberer. Whatever that meant. Maybe I should just stop and give-up? Trials and Tribulations was enough of a success to win an award. Maybe like Don Mclean's American Pie, it was a one hit wonder, not saying the quality of the two compares. I'm at a lost seeing how few people have even looked at my work. I think that maybe that's my answer.

The Times They Are A-Changin @Jason Rimbaud I got the uhm-dash in there.

I just finished watching the entire series and I thought it was excellent. Having been in the military and gay I found this to be realistic. Almost too real. Thanks for pointing out this movie/show.

The past makes us who we are in the present but doesn't define our future.

The Field of Love Chapter 12 “And to think, that was their best pitcher,” Andy declared as he fought the urge to kiss his boyfriend right there in the dugout. He threw his arm around Joey instead and added with a triumphant grin, “Good game.” Andy knew his dad was about to announce his run for Governor. Every move Andy made reflected on him, and there was no way he’d risk doing anything that might hurt his father’s chances. “Thanks babe,” Joey beamed at his boyfriend.
