You made me laugh...'suck all around'? I had to think of 'Christmas is all around you', that song sucked too. This Jonah couldn't talk to Ren, a later Jonah...maybe.
Thank you, Chezakeeba!
Who’d have thought I’d get dumped on a holiday by a cross-eyed nerd like Peterson? Only me.”
Yep, that disappointed me too. But then I thought, he is allowed to be bitter. Peterson's behavior was beyond shitty.
Did anyone else think the whole outing Chat thing looked staged? Or did I miss something?
Anyway, Wes and Angus... Yes!
You're amazing Irri! I thought I knew what you would say and then you're saying something completely different! I full heartily agree with you: Poor Jonah.
Men trust their ears less than their eyes (Herodotus)
In Rick and Matteo’s backyard again
My hands ran over the sun-warmed tabletop, blindly following rough lines forged into the wood by wind and rain. The crooked branches of the old olive tree above me creaked. I could hear the clinking of dishes back in the kitchen. They were preparing the food
Pizza
Flour, and oil, and yeast, and water.
Salt to taste the sea of Naples.
Red tomatoes, oregano.
Cut in squares of cheesy goodness.
trochaic tetrameter (?)
I can see you like cooking...and stirring up chapters and people. You know what, I'm leaning back and see what happens next. Totally relaxed...waiting for you finding someone for Wes and kick some other one's er...behind and maybe someone sells the house they don't need and...well...relaxed.
Yes I enjoyed the chapter very much and I wouldn't know if there were any mistakes although I actually watched the occasional baseball game because Dave's fascination with the game made me curious. But I can't get over Rob being Cupid... I picture him with a bow and wings...well...
Thanks again, dughlas. That's what I wanted to convey, for some it might even take twenty years to be brave enough to live their dream, be who they were meant to be. And often enough this won't happen without pain.
