    Prompt 372

Three hours in a snowmobile! That must mean something. So what's next? Buying a Christmas Tree? Visiting the Christmas Market? Yep, I want more too.

    Martin II #373

I'm trying to write an on-going story with prompt ideas taking place at a bar, mainly from Martin's and Roman's POV. We might see Alan again, if the time and the prompt is right.Thank you, Cannd. I'm glad you think I can do it.

    Martin II #373

I like a challenge. 'James' kept running in my head and when I read the boat prompt I wanted to somehow bind this to ideas together because it sounded so strange. I'm glad you liked it, and maybe we'll see more from Alan later on.Thank you for your thoughts, sacredlove.

Thank you Cole! I'm glad you saw the little hope I tried to impart. Maybe we see Alan again some day?

    Martin II #373

Well, at least I didn't kill him. LOLWhen you reminded me of that song, I couldn't forget it and while I thought about the boat-prompt, this little piece came up. Every time I hear or read about people letting other people tell them how to live their life, I want to yell at them to stop that. But I guess, for some it's difficult and it takes a while until they can change. Oh yes, I can do heart wrenching plus binge drinking...Maybe my story 'The Wardrobe' is something for you...although on the other hand...too much drama? LOL Thanks, Carlos. I'm looking forward to meet you at the bar.
  6. Martin sat at the bar and listened to Jessa singing Jessie J’s ‘Nobody’s Perfect’. She threw herself into the song as always, and he had to hide his grin behind a glass when he thought about how she hated this song. There would be ranting and violent cursing as soon as she was back in her dressing room. Maybe she’d even hurl her hairbrush again. No one knew why she hated the song so much and no one dared to ask. “Screaming Eagle, Kentucky Spirit straight up.” “Coming right away, Alan.” The bar

    The Perfect Weekend

That's what I wanted to show 'they work together' and I'm glad I could. Yes, Jonah is in Sicily...I'm actually nervous about the next chapter. I see me tinkering as long as I can. Thank you N. I really like reading your comments.

    The Perfect Weekend

Thank you Gary. As Irri requested, something nice and quiet before the shit hits the fan or w/e she said. Hmmmm I won't say anything to the rest.
  9. Happy Birthday!!
  10. So here I am on a nice, cold sunny Sunday morning thinking about getting my bike out after breakfast and before the formula one car race starts and has there not been a pormpt story I wanted to read? And the woosh Donnie is in an alternate universe. At least it feels like that. Is this a 'Fringe' show I missed? So intriguing Cole. I just hope you'll find something that triggers your mind next Friday.
  11. LOL That's perfectly okay for me. I will put up a warning for you, should I ever write something like this again: Caution! Drama queen~ness! How's that? Hope you'll still visit my bar someday.

    Rescue Mission

I never watched 'Sex in the City', so I can't tell. But I understand, sometimes characters in stories just aren't our cup of tea. Even if they have so much potential to change...hahaha. Thank's Carlos

    The Perfect Weekend

And I'm sorry for the delay. But now there is more room for speculation...Well, at least the next chapter will be much longer, at least for my usual chapter length. Thank's for your comment, Dave.

    The Perfect Weekend

And nobody complained about the donuts...Whew! You know I had my problems with this chapter. Thank you Cole! *hug*

And I feel all warm and fuzzy when I read a comment like this, Irri. Thank you!

    The Perfect Weekend

See, that was what I thought. A small comfort.I really tried to avoid this delay, but sometimes things just happen. Tim, what can I say, I love your comments, sometimes your predictions are freakingly correct, at least about who tops how.
  17. Still slaving away at Rick and Matteo’s All right, I was officially the temp waiter and the chopping boy - you know, the poor guy who has to chop all the vegetables and whatnot in the damn kitchen. It was in my best interest of course, because it ‘prevented me from becoming gloomy’. Thank you very much, Matteo! Then there was the small issue of having to get up at four in the morning. ‘Come on Jonah, get up already, we're going to the central market! You need to learn how to distinguish good f
  18. Too cute - and very nice smoothing the way for whatever you're planning for Rob by what you said about Melanie. Can't wait for part III.
  19. Now he comes up with the boat prompt and I have to figure out how to put the boat in the bar.
  20. Part I: Cautious approach. Very nice. I pictured them sitting on the kitchen floor comparing parental notes. Can't wait for part II.
  21. As everyone else I really love this chapter. You illustrated Roy's fear quite well. And of course I love the Roy personification, aka kitty Timmy. LOL But did you have to scare me this much with Roy almost dumping Chad. Speaking of roy~ally f***ing up. Anyway, I can't say it enough: FINALLY!
  22. Now I know I'm not alone with my cravings for ginger bread in summer and strawberry cake in winter! And as Cole said: 'what we do for the one we love' . Thank you!
  23. I have to admit I was a little surprised at how fast Dennis and Abel got serious, although I'm glad they did. And Jesus Christ poor Dennis. I really liked the chapter. I wish I had the time to read the rest in one go.

    Roman I #371

Ha! The kept man proposal was the prompt theme. I thought it was funny. And you're right, that's what I hope: to play with the bar location, the people who work there and of course Martin and Roman.'Living up to expectations...James...' Thanks, Carlos.

You put your finger on one of the key-question here. Do you want him to be the person? BTW Lisa told me that when you’re talking about one person the universally, gender-neutral pronoun is now considered ‘he’ or ‘his’. So technically it could also be a woman.
