  2. And people have the nerve to say Welsh is a hard language to learn
  3. I loved Bart the General (Does it matter if the balloons say happy birthday) and the Sideshow Bob one where Bart's last request for him to sing all the songs from Gilbert and Sullivan. I also liked the one where there go to Dr Munroe and have the shock treatment.

    Chapter 10

The days flew past and it was the evening of Monday December 10th before Kodi and I knew it. I was sleeping round Kodi’s tonight. “It’s our birthday tomorrow, Kodi.” “I know, Kyle. I wonder what our parents have got planned for us this year?” “Probably not a lot, since tomorrow is Tuesday and you have school. We’ll probably have to wait until the weekend.” “I think it will be hard to beat last year; spending the whole weekend at Alton Towers.” “I know. When do you find out your grade fo

  12. I'd have thought Sept 7th would be better. The summer holidays will be over and prices should have returned to normal.

    Prompt #117

I always aim to please . Glad you liked it.
  15. “What is that smell?” “I’m not sure sarge. I’ve never smelt anything like it in my life. If I had to compare it to anything, I’d say it smells like burnt caramel.” The PC held a handkerchief over his mouth and nose in a vain attempt to block out the smell. “I’ve attended death scenes before Matthews, but I’ve never seen anything like this.” Sergeant Carl Munroe looked around at the crime scene, and took in the room in all of its horrific detail. The walls were splattered in blood, there w

    Revelations

I'm loving it Myr. One of the best Fanfics I've read, and I've read both the gay and the tradition versions - everything from Star Trek, to Malcolm in the Middle, to Dr Who. You really give JK a run for her money.

    Chapter 9

The week flew past for everyone, and before we knew it the day of BBQ was upon us. My doorbell rang at what was thankfully a more civilised hour. “Hey, Kodi.” “Hi Kyle, you ready for the BBQ?” “Only we Brits must be crazy enough to have a BBQ in winter, but I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.” “Well, you know Sally. Any excuse to show off her fancy sheltered patio.” We both laughed; although Sally is far from snobbish, she loves BBQs too much to only have them in the summer. “I’m still not sur
  18. Really well written. I've always felt that there was more going on to Draco than we ever saw in the HP books, and this a great insight into that life. I'm loving it so far.
  19. I love seeing all the cute young doctors at work in their scrubs. Votes as many times as possible for scrubs
  20. Welcome to the new guys. Taliesin69 there is plenty to read here, hopefully most it will be new for you. Everyone enjoy
  21. When writing I stick with chapter 1, chapter 2 etc and don't use chapter notes. The only exception is my collection of prompt responses where I use the prompt number and include a description of the prompt in the chapter note. When reading I don't mind what the author uses as long as it's a good story. I loved the chapter titles used in Kombat Kids, unique and very funny.
  22. Personally I prefer the Musee D'Orsay, but a picnic does sound lovely. "laissez le bon roulleau des temps" (I think thats right my French is so rusty)
  23. It's great seeing the previous winners.
  24. Happy birthday Dan. Have a good one.
  25. Thanks Nephy and Wayne. And thanks to whoever chose my prompt response for inclusion in this week's blog. And I promise to link them
