For some reason I feel that Jeremy is going to have a long wait for Dale. Cole may claim to be bi but I don't think he has any intention of letting Dale go voluntarily. I would certainly hate to be in Dale's shoes right now, having to make a choice and hoping that it is the right one. Can't wait for more!

Well, I am definitely guessing at the outcome now. I kinda thought Cole was trying to help Jeremy out, not tease him and Dale is too sensitive right now but I guess I can understand why. He has a lot to wonder and think about.

Uh, oh, not looking good for the home team. Now things are going to get more complicated. I hope Jeremy does not get hurt out of this deal, and I certainly hope Dale is honest with how he feels for the person he has the feelings for. GReat, and very enlightening chapter:)

DAng, I am caught up and already pining for more Cole and Dale. This is such a great and enthralling story. Love the grandfather by the way. He would probably be Dale's best advocate if truth be known. lol Loving this story so much:)

Hmmmmm,. Cole is pretty hip on being bi, or should I say gay? Dale is trying to safeguard his feelings, but I think he is having a very hard time. Loved the outcome of the football game!!!!

Wow, from having no friends to earning the respect of the whole football team, quite a feat in one day. I wish Dale would play ball tho, but I understand about needing an extra income and him feeling it is his job to do his part. Another great chapter. Thankx

Dale seems to have a very lonely life. But now it looks as it is going to be a very interesting life, and Cole is playing his part to the hilt. lol

That's right Dale. Push the issue to the hilt and get all the extras, kisses, cuddling etc. Pretty smart guy. Cole does not to seem too worried though. HMMMMM

This is the only anthology that i hesitated to read because it did not interes me, but i thought it only fair to read it since I read all of the others. That being said, I was so wrong for not wanting to read this. Great example of not judging a book by it's cover. Same goes for a story. This is probably in the favorite three of all of the anthologies. would make a great story to continue and I would definintely read it. Great job. Very enjoyable reading. Thank You! -
I agree with Wayne, very interesting twist and glad there was no harm to either party, but like to think a little romance bloomed for two guys here. I loved this!

I have freaked my husband out, sitting abruptly up in bed in the middle of the night because I heard someone call my name. Great job, and I wonder what will happen when he comes around? Friends at the lake, or friends in college? I vote for the magical creatures. Loved this

Well, the yankee "faggot" turned out to be the much nobler human being here and I have to say, you portrayed the southern redneck perfectly. The good ol boy crap gets old quickly, I can assure you. Homophobia in the south is horrible and I can for one attest to it. But, unlike many, my hubby and family support me, so the "good ol boys", can kiss it. You told a very realistic story here! Great job

OMG! OMG! OMG!. Sad but an absolutly beautiful, well written, mind blowing story! Mutley and Dickdastardly huh? I remember them. They would have been proud to be mentioned in such a heartwarming piece of fiction. How many would go this far for a friend? Think about it. Would you?

Yoweeeee! This is definitely different. Kinda made me think of Kathy Bates in Misery, but even she was not this sadistic. Very sick woman, and mmmmm, no more stopping to help anyone. lol I did like it though because it is always nice to see an author venture into a new place and see how he fares, and I think you did a great job.

The first thought in my mind after I read this was, " Desperate Ends", is like someone naming a book for your life. You are still at the place where you are desperately seeking solace, happiness, and peace within your soul. You have found love and for that I am so happy for you. Beautiful, honest, and soul bearing piece of writing my friend. Hugs, and job well done! Hugs over and over.
