I don't normally go on rollercoasters, because I hate that drop. But if it's more about speed than dropping, I'm fine. Scariest one I ever did was the Revenge of Mummy in Universal Studios Theme park, Florida.
@Cia I remember a fairly long story where a cat guy and a dog guy (who was leader of his clan) got together, and they were up against enemies. I'm sticking the rest in a spoiler, since it sort of reveals the main twists in the side story.
Maybe I'm confusing you with another author on LitE, which is where I read the stories. Sorry, if that's the case, I was so sure it was you.
I love Cia's Carthera stories as well, and like you I love snakes, so Dav and Ellis are among my favorites too. I keep hoping Cia will post the cat and dog series here (read it on another site ages ago), and in particular the little side story with the two best friends.
I always enjoy reading about Will doing his best to help good guys get a chance to have a good life, whether it's job related or romantically. I think Tom will do well as Stef's assistant.
Oohhh, I also like Mogget from Sabriel and the other books. He's such a twisted character, both as a cat and in his other aspects, but you keep hoping he'll come down on the side of Abhorsen.
I love all Thirdly and Robin's stories, and you can look forward to the wyvern tale too.
LOL, I couldn't agree more. I shall have to read the story again with this in mind and laugh about my own silliness. Although in some cases I shall hide behind the excuse that the twins are influenced by their father's ideas.
I wonder how I've missed this story until now, since I like what @Dabeagle writes, but I'm so glad your awesome review pointed me towards it, @spikey582
Well, at least Bran's sister put her kids ahead of her religion, and she accepts his rules about keeping religion out of his home, so she gets my approval for that.
I'm glad they're getting their life sorted and can look forward to years of love.
What a whirlwind chapter But at least things got sorted out, more or less. I'm glad Bran has caring and sensible parents, and kari could benefit from some motherly attention.
Has the incompetent boss defrauded the company and run away ?
That's what I like about your stories, the people and the events are realistic. The cop is both good and bad, the social worker knows how to get a compromise which will benefit the kid.
Well, at least he should have some allies in the counselor from the school and his friends. And Isaac should be clever and stubborn enough to resist the suspicous minds of the system.
I'm glad Hal didn't waste any time and that Bran said yes to dinner. He's doing his best for Isaac, and I hope the 'uncle' fiction doesn't give him trouble later.
