  1. This is a great story with multiple opportunities to rant at various characters.
  2. Thank you for using my comment. I can definitely recommend the story. In fact, I did so in a blog review in 2020. Hmm, I tried to add the graphic to my signature, but it doesn't display. But at least it does so in other topics.

    Liam's story

Never thought about the poor human mods who have to look at all the bonkers and nasty stuff on the net. Now I feel sorry for them.
  4. Thank you for reading and all the likes. I hope you enjoy the side stories (and don't forget to read Aditus' Cupid Central first). At least both the A.I. and the Guardian story is complete.

    Secondment

I'm glad D'gar and J'rud got into the same Wing and have weyrs next to each other. It's good to have a friend by your side in an unfamiliar place.

    Chapter 1 Story

Zane made a good plan, but he was also lucky to meet someone like Fenix. I wonder whether he had planned what to do if a creepy guy tried to pick him up. The only sad part was the story about his gay colleague. He should have sued the heck out of the company, and Zane should have offered to be a witness. But maybe it's not too late ? Especially, if the story repeats when he comes out.

    Chapter 1

I'm glad James had the courage to speak to Craig and keep nudging him, and that Craig understood the importance of seizing this chance to change his dreay life for something better.

    Chapter 3

Someone should reply: A gay lifestyle can set you free from bigoted fools pretending to know God.

    Foreboding

M'rell doesn't have much success, professionally or personally. He's a good guy and friends to D'gar, so I feel sorry for him, even if his lack of promotion is partly due to his own actions. I hope J'rud's friend from Benden decides to transfer, otherwise they really will be separated after the Pass ends.

    Chapter 1

How did I miss this story ? I'm glad I got pointed this way. Simon is something of a drama queen, but his friend has his back and should be a good influence and partner, now the misunderstanding is over with.
  11. So much courage, perseverance and pride, it made me smile and shed a few tears at the same time. I'm glad hope came unexpectedly, not just of survival but love. Thank you for sharing

    Old Friends

I like these chapters where we get to see everyday Weyr life and some clam and loving times fro D'gar and S'brin. Even if their dragons don't mate, they have a solid relationship (after that bad patch).
  13. I always find it a little strange, when I see his name written out like that. In Denmark we always call him H.C. Andersen. But well done on getting his name spelt correctly, I often see Anderson or other versions from non-Danes. Oh and my favorite SATW with HCA: https://satwcomic.com/costume-party (note spelling)

    Chapter 2

I feel very sorry for Ricky that his best friend is too scared to accept his love, but on the other hand I can understand why Matt is afraid to do so.
  15. Great interview. I loved the story too, and enjoyed reading it again.

    Chapter 1

Yes, we all want the answer to that question. I guess the easy one would be: 'cause I'm straight and I don't feel like that about him' and the obvious one would be 'cause he surprised me'. But the interesting thing is why he had to ask himself that question.
  17. Do I need to get my editor glasses on and check my inbox ?
  18. Hi Page. I'm good, but on my way to bed, as it's past midnight here.

    Ignoring Advice

We have a saying in Danish: Hvis du ikke vil høre, må du føle. That means If you won't listen, feel the consequences. I guess that's what happened to G'dol.

    Chapter 50

No one objects to Nelson being clever and conning the Prince, as well as ignoring Parker's signal. The objection is that the British version of the story is that they were winning the battle, when the con happened. Compare the English Wiki page: The Battle of Copenhagen of 1801 (Danish: Slaget på Reden) was a naval battle in which a British fleet fought and defeated a smaller force of the Dano-Norwegian Navy anchored near Copenhagen on 2 April 1801. With the Danish Wiki page: Slaget på Reden var et søslag, der blev udkæmpet den 2. april 1801 mellem en britisk flåde under kommando af admiral Sir Hyde Parker og en dansk-norsk flåde under kommando af Olfert Fischer forankret ud for København. Selve angrebet blev anført af viceadmiral Horatio Nelson, som er gået over i historien for at have afvist Parkers ordre om at trække sig tilbage under slaget. I stedet ødelagde Nelson en stor del af den danske flåde, In the Danish version it says that Slaget på Reden was a naval battle between a British fleet and a Danish-Norwegian fleet. It does say Nelson destroyed a large part of the Danish fleet - but destroyed is not the same as defeated.

    Sentinals

I'm glad the confrontation with the Fallen Angel made the Priest revise his bigoted views of gay men.
  22. I'm glad R'feem appreciates D'gar's good qualities.

    Chapter 50

Well, I'm sorry Granger wasn't able to get to Copenhagen and prevent Nelson and Parker from attacking. But at least the Danes defended themselves well, and while Brits may consider themselves victorius in battle, we do not agree. Nelson tricked the Danish Crown Prince to order cease-fire. Slaget på Reden is still an important part of Denmark's naval history.
  24. I will definitely give the story a go. Always nice when I haven't read the story in the blog review and get interested.
  25. I guess the question is - where does the member title display ? It's not seen in chapter comments or on your profile, but it's shown under your name in forum posts like this one. The community reputation 'title' must be something different. I have the same 'Master Scribe 2nd Class' that you do. It must be related to the amount of reputation you have, since people with more and less rep have different titles (e.g. Grand Master, Adept).
