    Chapter 11

No surprise that Pastor Simpson is in the closet. I totally approve of the revenge idea, but I wish Matt would make careful plans rather than simply going to confront him. Especially since the Pastor might be expecting him.

    Luduth's Flight

I'm very glad to see the healer takes concussion seriously and keeps D'gar under observation as well as preventing him from fighting Thread. With his symptoms he obviously has a bad concussion, and he needs rest and quiet until he's completely symptom free.
  3. I'm glad D'gar is getting some calm days with J'rud and his normal duties after the drama with his weyrmate. But the mass mating flight may shake things up !

    Progress

I bet Craig will discover that Greg is making a lot of short cuts and mising potential problems. Hopefully, this stupid new scheme will be the push he needs to quit is job. James will be happy to help him find something to do locally.

    Chapter 16

I gues I'll have to update the List, lol. I feel sorry for Connie, but at least he has some friends who know and like him the way he is.
  6. Well, I can't say it was unexpected. S'brin lives in the immediate now, with no thought for the future or consequences. He is also selfish and not feeling lonely is more important than loyalty to his weyrmate. I'm glad D'gar managed to be polite to M'rell - and it probably made him feel worse than if D'gar had been angry with him.

    Chapter 8

Is anybody surprised that the evil pastor had a camera in the room ? I'm glad Matt was clever enough to take decisive action at once. I hope he goes to James' father who should be regretting his lack of action when Matt was abducted.

    Just Rewards

D'gar is too honorable for his own good. S'brin will probably either don't care or he'll be just as angry over a few nights as over the whole period. Poor J'rud, it's not easy to love someone, who is in another relationship, and here he had a taste of what he's missing.

    A Lazy Afternoon

I like the way they're already settling in to comfortable togetherness. I hope Craig will see the light, quit his job and move in with James.
  10. Fingers crossed that Gunnar does not stay out of the back room.
  11. Just loved the idea of lycan drag queens. And I'm glad Dixie mentioned the Silver Bullet.
  12. Well, at least Mike almost escaped, which was impressive.
  13. A sad existence, but we hoper for better times for Mike.
  14. Now I feel sorry for Thomas, but hopefully he'll find someone too.
  15. Poor Mike, but he seems to be amazingly resilient and realistic.
  16. I will definitely check it out too.

    To the Country

I'm glad Craig took the initiative to hug James, and the move was obviously welcome and led to kissing. I wish Craig didn't stomp on his dreams, but hopefully James can persuade him to drop the crappy job and join him in the cottage. Craig's neighbor gave good advice.

    Back to Work

I hope Craig won't make the mistake of letting James do all the work of keeping in touch. Even though James seemed more confident and determined, he may give up if Craig doesn't do his part.
  19. I like that the others can see D'gar's leadership qualities. And that he has found people who support his ideas.

    Chapter 51

Well, maybe the episode will be mentioned in a later chapter, unless Mark thinks it too trite to include. After all, Nelson's behavior may not have been included in the first dispatches about the battle, so Granger may not learn of it until he hears the gossip in the fleet or at home.
  21. If y'all want a story review in the blog in July, someone needs to send me a review before the 10th. The review team is flat out of ideas, and most of us are on vacation. Just saying

    Chapter 51

As a Dane, I can actually agree with Granger's analysis of the Battle of Copenhagen, though I'm a little surprised he didn't seem to think much of Nelson's ability to trick the Danish Crown Prince, who foolishly did not check with his naval commanders before agreeing to a ceasefire. But perhaps it's because Granger does not want to think of Nelson resorting to 'dirty tricks' which Granger is too honorable to use. You avoided the most known part of the battle (Nelson placing his viewer in front of the blind eye). That has become a proverb in Danish: 'at sætte kikkerten for det blinde øje' meaning to willfully ignore orders or facts you disagree with.

    A Minor Mutiny

If R'mart is clever, he'll use the chance to establish his control as Weyrleader and tell Bedella to shut up about what the old weyrleader did. Well done, D'gar, and nice to see the other riders appreciating his efforts.

    The Telgar Way

I totally agree. D'gar only has to spend one day at Telgar to find out why they have so many problems fighting thread. I hope he stands up for the whole group and they support him. If noone listens, he should go back to Fort and explain to his Wingleader, who is at least sensible enough not to want to waste his men and dragons.

    Chapter 5

Ricky's dad is a coward and an idiot. He should have stopped Matt's father or at least followed him and rescued Matt somehow.
