Uhm, for every author, right ? I've got a great one for my Clueless Camping story, which Litlover made for me, and I'm not a Promoted Author.

Well, it wasn't my intention to draw attention to it for that reason. It's a bit of extra scrolling in the first chapter, but otherwise I don't think it looks bad. But it's a matter of taste, I guess. I would have stuck it in a prologue in order to keep the chapters the same, but I can understand you don't even want such stuff there. I hope you can find a good solution for AC. I liked @Carlos Hazday's suggestion of using the story banner to highlight the Title, especially since it can be seen above each chapter.

I've checked some more comments and the quote above is wrong. The double count also happens with chapter comments with mixed likes, but only for those which are not the thumbs up likes. So if a chapter comment gets 4 normal likes and one like, the last one is counted twice when I look at my activity on my profile. likes seems to be counted three times. Here are two examples: My comment on chapter 13 of Twelve Gays got two likes and one like, 3 in total. In my activity list the comment seems to have 5 likes, because the LOL like is counted three times. My comment on The Christmas Cracker got five likes and one like, 5 in total. In my activity list the comment seems to have 6 likes, because the heart like is counted twice.

I know AC likes to do a kind of Title page for his longer stories, which also includes a dedication and list of chapters. See Mojo for an example. Perhaps you could allow Prologue chapters to be an exception to the rules about font size, and then AC could use this for his intro stuff ?

Yep, I knew this would happen. Blaine feels like an idiot, blames himself, and thinks he needs to apologize. How about not acting like a doormat, eh? Levi is the one who fucked up and he should apologize to Blaine. I suppose Mark did help a bit, but I'm not thrilled with him agreeing Blaine should be the one to apologize.

Nope, still not liking pushy Levi. But I can see Blaine is a sucker for attention, which may also explain why he got involved with the needy Christian, who then left him when his curiosity was satisfied. I'm not surprised Blaine ran away in fear, he should have kept running.

Well, I'm with Blaine. Levi is a jerk for intruding, and helping with the puppy doesn't make up for that. I suppose the pup will help with the loneliness, but how can he afford it, with no place to live.

Hmm, seems familiar, perhaps I did read this story before. If so, it was before I found the like button, lol. Some alone time to think matters over is OK, but he needs to find a new purpose, as well as a place to live, fairly soon.

I'm definitely hoping Aditus will return to the Cupid Central world at some point. Now I'm feeling all inspired to get my next PCC chapter written, so you can see Sablo at work - or at least learn the result. Thank you so much for reading and leaving such awesome comments.

I'm sure you're right that both names exist in Norwegian, even if they looked a little strange to my Danish eyes. Two of my grandparents and their siblings were in the Danish resistance, but they never talked about it much.

Oh, and I enjoyed leaning more about Fridtjof Nansen, who lent his name to Nansen pas (the Nansen passport), the first official ID papers for stateless refugees.

This is the perfect story to read if you're surrounded by snow and would like to get your heart rate up just a little. It is a tale from the past and from Norway, the land of fjords, mountains and skiing, all of which features in the story. It is also a tale of two young boys who for the love of their country and their school teacher set out on a trip which could cost them their lives. I enjoyed the slow unfolding and the underplayed drama of this realistic war time tale.

Brilliant story from my neighbor country who had a much harder time during the Nazi occupation than Denmark did. I had to chuckle at the sentence Norway had had enough of unwanted guests, because Denmark used to be one of the unwanted 'owners' of Norway, before Sweden won a war. There is even a SATW comic about it. Same for the use of clothes and decorations to show resistance to the Nazis, this is one of my favorite SATW comics. A couple of name comments: I think Nils' surname would be Haaland, with a single a in land, and the teachers middle name would probably be Erik, not Eirik. Also, I know the English version of Karl/Carl is Charles, but it would feel more authentic and be more correct if Nils said Prins Carl af Danmark became their new king (Haakon VII af Norge). Apart from the realistic depiction of the journey in the snow and the fear of discovery, I liked the way the boys grew closer until the kiss in the snow laid their feelings bare. They would not have had an easy time being together in post-war Norway, but that's another story.

Absolutely no hurry, Myr. I could understand the lag time explanation, if there were more likes on the comments than my activity list showed. But how can the count in my activity stream be 2 or 3 times the real number of likes ? I don't know if it helps, but it seems to be only those comments which have only one kind of likes, but not comments with mixed likes. However, I haven't chased down older comments to check. Also posts in the forums and blogs show the correct number of likes. Is no one else seeing this phenomenon ? Maybe I should reboot my laptop and see what happens.

Yeah, I also wondered about the lack of a shift, but perhaps he couldn't be sure where the rope would end up ? It might have been around his neck.
