    Chapter 38

Maddie gets out her gun and shoots whatever idiot tries to attack her son. (of course, now Mann will have to write something else )
  2. I'd forgotten about this story, but it's always fun when clever young people get the better of ignorant teachers.

    Chapter 37

Sawyer and Jimmy to the rescue, YAY ! Going to his mom's house is the right decision, because I think Fergus will have other problems to deal with soon. His pack will hopefully revolt.
  4. I've been to Bath. It was quite nice.
  5. Danish numbers are beyond weird - they are bloody useless.
  6. That was very interesting. Maybe this is why Norwegian kids who say ni-ti-to (nine ten two) are better at maths than Danish kids who say to-og-halvfems (two and ninety).
  7. Try Danish numbers if you want weird. https://satwcomic.com/just-a-number and this Youtube around 2:00
  8. I agreee. And they don't use the weird US way of writing the month before the day.
  9. It's the same in Denmark, but unfortunately that's not always enough to catch unsafe elderly drivers. Not that they are common, but it's scary to meet them. Many years ago, just after I got my driver's licence, I encountered an old lady who committed three gross traffic violations within a short time. First she drove out in front of me in a roundabout (didn't even look to check if someone was coming), then she ran a red light, probably because the traffic signal was new and she had gone past that crossing for fifty years with right of way. It sure was a big surprise for the guy driving out from the side road. Finally, at the next traffic light she turned the corner right in front of a pedestrian, who was on a zebra crossing with a green walk signal. He had to jump back to avoid being hit. After that I lost sight of her, but I still feel bad about not reporting her to the police. But at the time I thought they wouldn't listen to a driver who had gotten their licence one month earlier.
  10. My favorite - I tried to find my drooling emoticon, but that no longer works

    Chapter 36

Luckily, Doris now knows about the existence of Jimmy. Hopefully she can get hold of him, somehow.
  12. It's bloody freezing here, and we had snow today. Not too bad in Copenhagen, but some parts of the country got 10-30 cm, and more is coming. Brrrr - luckily I could work from home today.
  13. I look forward to checking out this story.
  14. Yeah, that chapter is written, but I think it would be unfair to post a single chapter after such a long time. I want to write some more, before I resume the story.
  15. LOL, yep - it's nice to meet characters you know, right? Patrick likes to use his skills and his money to help others. As for the PI, initially he'll just investigate the story behind Sonia's scar, but hopefully it will lead to some justice for her.
  16. Yes, the need for more bedrooms is the reason why Patrick wants to buy the house next door. He's happy to invite Peter's coosins to stay, as well as Moster Grethe.
  17. Of course - I assumed the reason you're reading this story is because you read the A.I. tale, but seems I was wrong. I'm glad you noticed John laughing, he has a highly developped sense of humor and appreciation of funny situations. Fiona visit safely over, now Patrick just needs to get closer to her and maybe a few other cousins.
  18. Your comments reminded me I have several issues to resolve when I get back to this story.
  19. I noticed the door too, as a bit of an eyesore in the nice wall. Yeah, something to make it look like wood rather than steel would be nice. I can see how replacing it with a wooden door would be an unecessary expense.
  20. Thanks, it's always difficult to write sexy stuff - even if I did start out writing smut, before getting into 'real' stories here at GA. As promised, the lady next door got put in her place, hope you liked that part too.
  21. We are of the same mind in all of this. Thanks for leaving so many lovely comments.
  22. With mutual support and some social distancing the family issues shouldn't be too much of a problem for either guy. Getting back to Michael soon.
  23. I enjoyed writing this chapter, and I'm always very pleased when my readers enjoy it too. It was certainly a good beginning to their friendship.
  24. Ha, ha, your dad was clever too. Competing for the food with kids will often do the trick. You may be right about Peter finding a way to tease back.
  25. Good point - I don't recall reading a story like that here. I'd like to add that searching for sun flare is probably more effective than sun flair. Though it didn't yield any results on GA, when I tried searching Stories.
