We started out the chapter with Kellar leaning on Tobyn and telling him how important his mates was for his ability to heal. I think every chapter after they met has brought New Perspectives to their relationship and the earth mother's plans for them. But otherwise this was Fendral's chapter. He brought New Perspectives to so many matters. Why he wolfed out, in grief and anger; why Gigi left home the way she did, and what her purpose was, a purpose she achieved even if it cost her and her husband their lives. I loved how Fendral said it was a comfort to know. But the major New Perspective was the fact Cahlar was Gigi's ancestor, and that the prophecy was carried via the maternal line, in secret all those years. This opened up for Kellar seeing himself and his role in new ways. Like Fendral pointed out, he's not a reborn Cahlar, but he is a new savior, the perfect mix of a line of powerful healers, the line of Cahlar and Fendral's Alpha line. That blend gives him everything he needs to be someone for the pack to trust and lean on as they retake their future. It's wonderful to watch how Kellar and his grandfather lean on each other, physically as Kellar gives Fendral water, escorts him to the bathroom, gives him the information he needs to understand what is happening. And Kellar needs his grandfather as his only link to one half of his family, to the past, and his best chance of understanding and accepting his role as savior. Tobyn gives him lots of support too, and Kellar could never embrace his destiny without his earth mate, but Fendral has experience and knowledge which is just as important. Of course, Fendral also has New Prspectives. For one he isn't dying anymore, and he is a human again and can communicate with his pack (eventually). He knows Gigi somehow managed to find her mate and that shifters now have the solution to the malaise and protection against hunters. Of course, this has already given hope and new perspectives to all of Vega and Morningstar. All we need to know now is what promise Fendral made to Esther, but that's for the next chapter. This one ended perfectly with Fendral and Kellar's exchange of accepting words.

Ha, I made you speechless. Your story inspires so many thoughts and feelings, and I always have to mull over each chapter for quite a while before commenting. Maybe that's why I sometimes manage to get the underlying messages. It's been a great pleasure to edit and read this story and see all the reactions from other readers. You've certainly touched the hearts and souls of everyone with this beautiful tale.

Thank you It was important for me to show what good Danish parents are expected to be like, and the travel idea had been simmering for a while, before I wrote this chapter. The twin uncles were born the moment I had to do a spread sheet to keep track of all the family members, their ages and how Jacob was Isa's cousin in spite of the age difference. Made me smile to know they evoked a squeal and the immediate idea about them being gay too. I won't confirm or deny but you have a good point.

I'm quite proud you can see the foreshadowing, because some of those plot points were quite nebulous unfinished ideas in my head as I wrote this chapter. If I meet any nice Danes who fulfill your criteria I'll send them over.

Well, they weren't sitting close to anyone, and they weren't shouting, so the spectacle wasn't too public. Maybe Henry thought he needed to take one last shot at getting someone on his side, and this was the only opportunity. You're not the only one who're waiting for the next chapter, but you'll have to be patient. I'll get there eventually, but I keep getting distracted. However, reading and replying to all your wonderful comments certainly put me in the mood to get back to the twins and their family.

that's a great compliment for an author, to have a reader relate to a story character and even shedding a few tears over their pain. Thank you for telling me and for leaving so many great comments. I hope I've found them all.

The twins' wedding and the Prom are way off in the future, chapterwise, but Michael should be out of hospital within a few chapters. Hmm, perhaps I should post the next Cardmaker chapter now, just to keep you happy and occupied?

Oh, yes, all three siblings have Daddy issues, and you may be right about needing counseling, at least for the twins. Kristin got off lightly as Daddy's girl, and she's been independent for a while. I think she's more affected by her mom being unhappy and uncertain. Tor is a good distraction - and maybe more.

If nothing else, Jacob and Chris would probably become allies in order to keep up with the twins, but luckily they also like each other as friends. The house idea is almost a given, since the twins will probably always need to be close. I did promise you lots more twin interaction.

I've always wanted a twin, and I'm fairly sure that prompted me to write this story. So I'm all about making you feel the same. Russ and Evan are very similar bodily, but differs mentally. But that doesn't prevent them from being close.

Your gaydar must be pretty good. Glad you liked the talk, I worked hard on that part.

I believe Alek has truly changed and will put Liam and their relationship first from now on. I've broken up with someone and taken them back after a year. It didn't work out, but I'm glad I tried, or I would always have wondered 'What if?' I think Liam should give it a try, first as close friends and then more if he feels like it. He'll never be able to move on, if he doesn't try dating an out Alek and see whether it makes a difference.

Related to this: When you press NEXT or >> on the comment section, you no longer get sent to the top of the chapter, which is awesome. But if you stand on page 2 of the comment section and press PREV or << you get shunted to the top of the the chapter. This doesn't happen if you're on page 3 of comments and press << to get back to page 2. Obviously not urgent either.

Of course he loves Dom, but I bet it's more a brotherly or friendship love than romantic love like he feels towards Bobby. If he kept saying Bobby's name in his sleep while he was with Dom, then we all know who has his heart forever. That doesn't mean he couldn't love Dom too, but no matter how well he recovers their relationship is back to friends. Which is a lot better than being enemies like they were when they broke up.

I don't feel bad for him at all. He was meddling with things he didn't understand and all for personal glory. And he''d be dead on the spot along with a lot of other people, if he'd succeeded in opening the chamber before the switch. But I wish they could have found a way to tell him that.
