Ooops, seems like we started something, Aditus. Maybe we can come up with another story if we get the right Anthology theme. But I agree - we need to get our unfinished stories done first. I'm glad you found so many positive things to mention from this chapter, and all of them very favorite parts of mine too. I hope you'll find the newest chapter and the final Angel/Imp story too.

this was my last comment from skinnydragon and I feel really bad that he never got to read about Patrick meeting with Fiona (in chapter 20), which he was already looking forward to in chapter 11. I shall have to hope he looks down at us with joy wherever he is - hopefully swooping around in dragon shape or sitting on a soft cloud with warm arms enfolding him. forever darling dragon.

Sigh, it's bittersweet to see the comments our beloved dragon left on my stories, but at least we have wonderful memories of his time among us.

I'm flattered you've decided to read the story again, although I wonder if it's also because I'm posting so slowly, you have to refresh you memory when a new chapter finally arrives. I always enjoy reading the comments from other readers on the stories I follow, and now we can like them and comment on them too, which is a huge improvement IMO.

I only needed to read the first few lines, and I knew I'd read the story before. The name Storm was vaguely familiar, and now I know why. I think I may have read it before I got into the habit of leaving comments. Or perhaps I noticed there were no replies. I'll read it again though, but later.

Thanks, Gary, I love making you smile. It was a bit of a struggle to come up with the right resolution of hte A.I. team development, but starting out with Aditus' Cupid helped. I'm pleased you enjoyed the connections to Patrick's story, I had to go back and read the first two chapters very carefully to get it right. Yes, Angel didn't only change bodily, but most of the prissy speech patterns are still there. Did you notice Angel never uses contractions except in Don't call me that! ? I'm sure Imp would deny being tamed at all, but all Angel has to do is run his fingers through those fiery locks and purrs happen.

You should definitely give it another try, Lisa. Bound & Bound will make you laugh, cry and shudder in horror, but remember, LOVE conquers all.

The title of this story is sheer genius, and I’ll never forget the person or the concept which prompted the name. As we begin the compelling journey mapped out by Cynus we meet Silas Drake, his dog, and the band who has given him a ride as they travel from one gig to another. Even though their ways soon part, Cynus keeps track of both parties. Drake as he stops over in a small village and encounters several people, both good and bad, who will change his life. The band as they struggle to find success and deal with missing the young man who helped them navigate from place to place. Their feelings about Silas have far-reaching consequences. Drake is my favorite sort of character, both intelligent and sensible. He's shaped but not destroyed by events in his past. He does what’s needed to survive, but his integrity keeps his choices honorable. Even though he has been hurt by other people, he tries to avoid harmful actions, and though his trust is hard to gain, his loyalty to friends is unshakable. He’s not perfect, but that makes him all the more believable and admirable. The way he cares for his dog, Adelaide, who is a faithful protector, will win many readers’ hearts, and she plays a crucial role in the story. There's heart-ache and danger and even a small mystery to solve, but the Navigator will find his way home through it all. This review is a revised version of my Featured Story blog review.

Wednesday went by rather quickly. Michael clung to Patrick until he left for the shop around 11am. Well, you can get a bit more Theliel and Sablo in my third Angel and Imp story. Aditus very kindly gave me permission to use them.

Of all the wonderful Secret Admirer Contest stories, this one was probably the most light-hearted and fun. Did you know Cupids have arrows of different colors depending on the situation? Or that missing a shot can have dire consequences, not only for the humans involved, but also the hapless Cupid who bungled the job. The management at Cupid Central assigns punishment for tardiness as well as sloppy jobs, but also rewards good work. I was chuckling most of the time, and I asked Aditus to lend me a couple of his angels to help out in my A.I. story. But most of all, I hope we’ll get more Cupid Central stories, because the concept is delightful, the dialogue is funny, and the characters are vividly portrayed, both the angels and the humans they interact with.

It's always difficult to comment on the last chapter of a well-loved story. There is sadness and joy in equal measure, because Kellar is finally where he was always meant to be, and yet there is more destiny ahead, which we want to know about. Destiny begets Destiny says it all. Gigi had a Destiny which had been handed down mother-to-daughter for generations and she made it happen. Warren had a destiny as Adelin's mate and Kellar's arrival as his foster brother and his first shift set it in motion. Tobyn had a destiny which was different than the one he envisaged, but he set out to find it at the right time. Fendral had a destiny laid on him by his wife and he swore by his mate bond and the earth mother, who guided him to be in the right place at the right moment. His destiny made Kellar and Tobyn meet and it saved their lives, and now he has returned and talking to him made Kellar accept his destiny as Alpha - but one with responsibility for all shifters, not just Morningstar. In the fields of clover - yes that scent combined with vanilla will become known to all packs, and it will set them free to play and live and bond the way they were always meant to do. I'm glad Kellar is content and his reasons are good. Like Fendral said, they lost and gained, and the rewards for sufferring were more than they had ever hoped for. The earth mother guided and helped, but they still had to make the right choices, and there were enough crucial moment where destiny balanced on the edge of a blade. But like Kellar we're content that the first book ended in a good place with the mystery of the malaise solved and the hopes of a better future ahead. Congratulations on your first shifter story, Gary, it was amazing and of course we all want more. I'll be happy and proud to edit for you again.
