    Much as I love chocolate, I don't think it will work with a sponge cake, and there is something yummy about icing too - as long as it's the soft kind and not the awful hard and oversweet stuff used on British Christmas cake. How about a compromise where they use icing and have dark chocolate hearts sprinkled over the top ?

    Ooohh, I loved the way you used the Danish traditions, that worked really well. Jay's parents are certainly able to see what's right for them and their kids, and to keep open minds no matter their age. I look forward to meeting Jerry.

    I am so happy someone finally confronted Corbin with his irresponsible drinking. I think the first comment I made on this story was a lengthy rant on this topic. And not even a near-death experience and concussion will stop Corbin from getting laid.

    I love all Gary's stories, but his cowboy short story Finding Refuge is my favorite, apart from Morningstar.

    Try listing your docs by date or by name and see if there is a newer version. You may have opened an older version by mistake. Or saved it in another folder or on the desk top.

    Robbie has the perfect excuse to break up with Connor: the relationship is all about Connor's needs, and particularly the sex. Simply tell him, he is fed up with just being a hole for Connor to fuck, rather than a friend he has fun with. I hope Robbie new year will be better than the previous one.

    I have to admit I'm not keen on Conner, I almost like Nathan better. But at least Robbie is trying to be sensible and figure out how he feels.

    Shortly after the lock-down started in Denmark the weather turned nice and warm. A nurse in one of the big Emergency hospiltal departments in Copenhagen went on the news and asked people to NOT start a lot of garden work and handyman jobs. Every spring they will get people coming in with injuries from those kinds of activities, and as she said: 'we don't need that on top of the Corona patients.' So please postpone any sawing until the crisis is over and your son is back home to help. But congrats on getting it assembled.

    Wow, 1500 pages of chat, that's a lot. By now the Corona virus spread has slowed down enough here, that the authorities are considering a very careful relaxation of measures after Easter. But it will probably be months before we're back to normal, as the epidemic will stll be ongoing, and they'll be monitoring developments to be sure the infection rate doesn't increase again. Off to bed, see y'all tomorrow.

    So last night the Queen of Denmark went on national TV and told all of us to be responsible and do what the authorities tell us, in other to get us through the Corona crisis. Apart from the yearly New Year's speech, we haven't had a monarch addressing the nation since just after WWII (the Queen's grandfather).

    The Circle of Hell stories are definitely also worth reading, but please take note of story and chapter warnings.

    I loved the insight we got both in the lunar society (love that they call themselves the lunatics) and in the relationship of Harman and Silver Eagle. The calm and loving 'thal is good for the rattled earthling, who is trying to fit into a very different world.
