  1. If y'all happen to be bored, why not take a look at the last blog review of the year. to Gary for his comments.
  2. Thanks, Drew. Your nephew's presentation sounds interesting, I wonder where he got his information. How old is he? Did he find out we celebrate on Christmas Eve, and we walk around the Christmas tree singing xmas themed songs, before opening parcels. And that our word for Christmas (JUL) has nothing to do with Christ, but is an older pagan word ? And that we have invented a special Xmas dessert 'risalamande' which includes one whole almond among lost of chopped ones, and you win a gift if you get the whole almond?

    Meat Meets Veg

That was awesome. Now I just need to read the rest of the Cook Book.
  4. Thatks, dugh. I hope your coming year will be better for your head.
  5. LOL, if they're featuring a Viking in a 'juletræ' suit and a Lapp in a reindeer hat, at least they could have used a Nordic greeting. Thanks, Bucket. Thanks, buddy. Thanks, Val, you too. It's been good so far. Thanks, Page. I hope everyone has a great Christmas Day, whether or not you celebrate it.
  6. I like Connor (sorry @droughtquake ), because Robbie is actually able to talk to him about sex before he jumps in with both feet. He was even able to tease him, and he is genuinely attracted to Connor. Also, even if Connor's family was a bit much the first time around, they're going to be good for Robbie, especially another father who is kind and relaxed. I'm hoping the whole Christmas visit will be a success. And posting this chapter now was really cool timing, Dodger. Glædelig Jul from Danmark.
  7. LOL, I'm glad to know they're still able to have fun after being mated for 25 years. And they should be grateful Lizzie saved them from exposure.
  8. Thanks, Xander. Glædelig Jul is Danish for Merry Christmas - but don't ask me how to pronounce it, if you're not Danish.
  9. Heading off to bed after a nice Christmas Eve. Glædelig Jul from Danmark.

    Family Ties

At first I thought I would have to leave a like, but Lewis' brother doing the right thing made it a happy ending for Christmas. I wonder if he got married young in order to get away from his father ? It's good to know Lewis will have family at his wedding too, and that his courage in visiting his father was worth it.
  11. All done. and ready for chapter 4.
  12. Thanks, Carlos. I hope you'll enjoy the last three books as well.
  13. Thanks, Gary. The story gets more characters and interesting plots in the later books, so reading again is rewarding, because you are aware of hints and plot twists. Just like your Morningstar story.
  14. I hope so, because writing with you is always easy and fun.
  15. Good morning, Gary - I just sent you a few edits. Next chapter, please.
  16. Not really, but I'm determined to get some writing done over the Holidays. And Imp is always fun to write about...
  17. Hey Albert and Glædelig Jul to you too Hey Page
  18. How about revisiting some Cupids and Guardians ?

    Squall Line

I would be happy to read a story where Gerald's niece and nephews turn out to be sensible and kind, once they get over the surprise of their uncle Gerald being gay. But to be honest I'd rather read about Philippe meeting someone nice when he makes the effort to leave his shell.
  20. It's nice to see Robbie being unselfish and kind. But I'm upset he didn't tell Jo about the police interviews. She would have blown a fuse.

    Chapter 1

It's nice to see decent human behavior rewarded, as well as a CEO ready to show proper CSR (corporate social responsibility).

    Squall Line

At least that would get rid of them. Why would Gerald want three bigoted brats in his life? And don't tell me it's because they're family. Neither they nor their parents appear capable of loving family unconditionally, so why should he have to ? Especially, if it is costing him his chance to reconnect with Philippe. Of course, for Philippe's sake, I don't mind, since he may be better of without Gerald.
  23. I admit Simon's behavior is understandable in many ways, so I'm not complaining about your decision to have him agonize over this matter. But I'll still grumble about him not being a bit more rational, because that makes me feel less sad about his situation. And I'm actually quite impressed by the way he stays strong over his instinctive understanding that there is nothing wrong with being gay, and any attempt to make him feel otherwise is evil and ignorant.
  24. That was an impressive list of achievements.
  25. Simon's father may be able to cut his phone subscription, but he still has the phone. All it takes would be a cheap plan or prepaid minutes. We didn't have cell phones when I was a teen, and we managed just fine. Simon needs to stop obsessing over bad stuff which may not happen, or else talk to Nicky about his options. I'm sure she'll find a solution, if Simon would just be sensible and bring up the matter. I'm glad he had a nice day with his friends, and he won't need a phone for it to happen again, since he can talk to them at college.
