  1. I hope you keep thinking that during subsequent chapters. Thanks for reading and commenting.
  2. At least Chase succeeded with one of his explanations, but I guess Dawson was in a more receptive frame of mind than Hank. I'm not sure it was a good idea to try and explain to Hank, but I did approve of Chase standing up for himself, the way Dr Chorny pointed out. And Hank needed to know before he makes a mistake with Kevin. However, I'm fairly sure kissing Dawson was less than optimal, but at least there were no bad consequences. They're still friends, and Chase needs that. Oh, and Hank's explanation of why Chase couldn't have Rex was pathetic. I bet he didn't expect Chase to react the way he did.
  3. Sigh, this chapter makes me sad, bad timing sucks. Poor Dawson, he had his heart broken in such an awful way. And Chase got another dose of Hank's issues.
  4. So many contacts here. First with Cindy, who brought up Chase's recent contact with his co-worker. Then getting in touch with a happier time when their family was whole. A brief and distant contact with friends which showed Chase what may be lost besides hank. His sorrow was put into perspective when Stacy contacted him, and they had a good chat. A brief interlude with Chase missing both the physical contact with Hank and his unwavering support, but he distracts himself from his depression by reaching back to his former joy in running and biking. Of course, the most important contacts were the email from his father, reestablishing communications, and the unfortunate meeting with Hank and Kevin, when Chase collected his bike. There was definitely something strange about Hank's reaction, and for once the guilt seemed to be on his side.

    Chapter 5

Getting us to like Nate was always a tough sell, but you managed it. With Taylor by his side, I think Nate will be able to keep changing into a man who knows his own worth and will be able to stand up to his father. I think getting away from the farm and working somewhere else for a few years would be good. It might teach the old bastard not to take his son for granted and appreciate all the work he does, without ever getting any thanks or appreciation.
  6. A to Z is one of the stories I've reread most on GA. But I have to admit, I usually start with his arrival at the farm, because the first part of the story is too dark for me.

    Chapter 26.3

NO mouthwash, please Exactly, I was thinking of Guards, Guards, too
  8. Thanks, @Myr that's makes sense.
  9. I like how the central guy is wearing pink. No color bias before WWII apparently. I see the phone too.
  10. I've been looking for the tech blog where @Myr explained about the software update which lets GA change status on In Progress stories, which haven't had new chapters posted for a while. Ie changing to On short term hold or On long term hold. But I can't find it, so I'll have to ask this question: Since the status apparently doesn't automatically change back to In Progress, when an author posts a chapter to an On Hold story, does that mean we should do it ourselves ? If yes, it might be nice to have a reminder of this in the story editor, if possible. If you want examples see @Lux Apollo's and several of Comicality's stories, eg
  11. Great to have you back ! I'm glad he had a good talk with Jean-Paul. They needed to sort all those old issues out.
  12. Hi Albert, how are you ?
  13. The chapter title was very apt. Chase tried to invite Hank to talk to him, but was turned down. He sent an invitation to his dad to come back to the family or at least open up on how he is. Alan invited Chase to go to lunch with his coworkers, and Chase accepted, which lead to Dawson inviting him for dinner. Turning him down was probably for the best, but maybe he can be a future friend? Finally, Rex invited Chase to take him on a walk, but that led to the discovery of Hank sitting alone in the park. So we ended on a sad note, but at least Chase seems determined to keep going.

    Chapter 16

At least Mrs. Armstrong was fair and told Jimmy what would happen if he persisted with his hate speech. I don't blame Jack for being upset about his mother's behavior.

    Chapter 26.3

Kitryn finally realized the bad guys gloat, but the good guys get the job done with minimum fuss.
  16. A good talk with two great women in his life as well as another talk with his therapist did wonders for Chase, but then he needs every bit of help he can get. He is still hurting from various wounds: his mother's death, his depression, the absence of his father, his stupid reaction to Hank's proposal, and the loss of his beloved. But in spite of the bad endings so far, we do see the possibility of a new beginning.

    Chapter 8

Yeah, Jahke got hooves and horns in the first version too. And they're also mentioned in some of the later stories, eg Fallen Pride. Great ending to the story, but I'd love to hear Jahke wither Baccha with his words.

    Chapter 3 Help

Chase had some tough things to face in this chapter, but he also got a lot of help from his therapist, which was good to see. The advice about not chasing Hank who has his own issues, was particularly important. Sorry to hear about the shoulder, buddy. Hope it improves
  19. Interesting that they had already noticed Simon and talkied about approaching him. I wonder if Jeff was attracted to Simon and that made him resist the idea of Freddie talking to him. I liked the way Jeff showed Simon that those stupid Alpha boys and girls were a minority, with not much going for them. But I wonder about the boy in the expensive shirt. He disliked Tyler's hateful rants.

    Chapter 15

I have the feeling Honey will enjoy being cosseted and cuddled by his mate for a long time. And Jedrek's beast won't care if his human feels a little embarrassed over being both possessive and soppily romantic.

    Chapter 7

Well done, Jahke, for standing up to Kiorl, taking care of your mate, and having fun with other demons. I'm not surprised Sitka is proud of his boy. I wonder what Nassau was telling Kiorl during the argument.

    Chapter 8

Ohhh, they broke the big rule: NO sex in the kitchen. Tobias may exact a nasty revenge.

    Epilogue

Uh Oh, that last bit was a surprise. Other than that, I liked the way matters were resolved, including saving poor Maurice and Shawn joining the love and lust fest. But I hope they told Franklin what happened to his friend.
  24. thank you, spikey (I'm very glad I'm not just the nagging person trying to wring reviews out of you ) - but also because it's one of my favorite stories.
  25. Read and liked - I'll be back with a chapter comment later.
