  1. Fancy you saying that, lol ! But I feel the same, and after all Eric was pretty sure of Nelson's yes. What's next ? Rob - and soon...

    Rescue Mission

OK, there's a bitch Jonah hates more than Ren so he kisses him to piss her off. And then he gets to gives his meddling friends and Ren the finger by telling him to get lost after the party. I almost feel sorry for Ren, but hopefully he'll be angry with Eric and Chris instead of Jonah. But I have the feeling Ren will take this as the green light to pursue Jonah, or even consider them to be boyfriends. And Jonah will probably find it hard to resist - at first. Ar least we have one of the reasons for Jonah's fit over Rick's 'you need a hat' ploy. I totally loved the way he put it: "I do not like being played, manipulated, or meddled with! I've had enough of that to last the rest of my life!"

    Chapter 21

No matter who they chose, once Frank has explained the problem (maybe with Zach describing how 'upset and sad' his dad used to make him feel), the therapist will have to deal with the issue, unless he or she is a complete idiot. I'm going to place a bet that before Zach ever has to attend any sessions,Wally bails on counseling rather than admit he's done anything wrong. Another smart move by Zach might be to tell coach Lad about his issues with his dad and how he doesn't want to be in touch with him. The point about him having confidence in his coach and not wanting anyone else to tell him differently might enable him to ask coach Lad to explain matters to the counseling person. Though ideally I'd love to see him yell at Zach's dad - not even Wally would be dumb enough to ignore that.
  4. Well, if she has, it obviously hasn't reached Jasper yet. But then she's a freshman, and he's a junior.Nelson likes to feel protected but he's also capable of standing up for himself and using his self-defense skills if required. Although, I'm sure his teachers didn't think about potential fun with a boyfriend, lol.
  5. Why thankt you, Jaro ! I'm flattered you liked it so much. Rob is up next, so it may take a while. I'm having lots of fun writing it.
  6. Thank you AC - and in particular thank you for your patience while I dithered and rewrote and sent you new versions. We obviously made the right decisions in the end. We'll see if I stay with Nelson and Eric long enough to find out what happens when they get intimate, lol.
  7. It made me so happy to know that I managed to surprise you and pleasantly too, lol. Thank you for all the compliments, they make me blush - and rush off to write more.
  8. I'm writing as fast as I can !I know I'm bad for letting Nelson trick Jasper and you, but I have to admit your reaction made me laugh in delight.
  9. Now I'm all sad. Peterson did a wonderful thing, not telling Roy of his feelings and warning Chad about not waiting. But for him to give up on love for a second time is so sad, even if Roy doesn't like him like that. I hope Wes can make Peterson happy. And I hope Chad takes the plunge. I'm gonna be real pissed if he wastes his new friend's sacrifice.
  10. “Well that sure didn’t go as I had hoped.” I caught up with Jasper at the end of the school day, and my best friend turned to me in surprise. “What do you mean?” I plodded along, knowing I looked morose and just a tiny bit pouty. “You know the great master plan of doing nothing for now and wait for Monday so you could ask Rob about his brother? Discover whether Eric is out and would like to date me?” “Yeah, what about it?” Jasper looked decidedly worried now. “Well, that’s all shot to Hell,
  11. Yes! finally Simon gets a lead on how to become less lonely. Now we know why he is at the barber's. I was so glad to hear about Ralph, he deserved to find some happiness in life. And so does Simon, of course, as a reward for being good and patient and true to himself.
  12. Nice and calm, and I laughed at the way Jay thought he would have to wait ages and suddenly got busy with cleaning his room. But I think his parents chose one wrong punishment. Packing Linda off to her friends house would be a good idea, so the boys could enjoy the day in peace. Why didn't they ground her the weekend after? And now I'm trying to come up with a Danish sounding name starting with J, which wouldn't work in English. Jesper, Jan, Jørgen, Johan... hmmm.
  13. you mean sort of seeing some one else's life pass before your eyes without having to die ?

    Chapter 2

Sweet. I still like to feel the sand on my toes, too. And hot chocolate is always a favorite. I hope they'll keep on making each other smile forever.

    Chapter 11

Damn, now I'm all caught up and have to wait for more chapters. Thank god Jay finally came out to his grandmother. Even Mr Chang approved. Vanessa really needs to chill out, but hopefully she'll get better now that she knows they are a couple. Oh and she's probably joking, but she's right about Devon. I hope he backs off when Jay tells him he's in a relationship with Scott. At least his drinking habits will ensure that Jay will never even consider him as boyfriend material.

    Chapter 10

Just when you think Jay has finally found some happiness, something happens to mess him up again. But his reaction was understandable and I'm sure the three people who care about him most will not hold it against him. And I'm glad to see his grandma finally calls him Jay. Although Jaybird is cute too, lol.

    Chapter 9

Whoa, unexpected drama after you lulled us with nice domestic dinner and bedside story and music. Glad you didn't let Jay run away completely and that Scott took care of him. Hope he'll soon feel comfortable enough to tell his grandmother and come out at school too. Oh and kissing in the rain and in the shower was hot.

    Chapter 8

Now I'm pissed at Dani, although I can understand she's angry with Devon. But making Jay take care of him was not nice. Was she tipsy as well? And I guess we all know what Devon's problems are: he's deep in the closet, and he fancies Jay, and he's well on his way to become an alcoholic, and he hates his father. How could Jay even think about having his first sexual experience with a guy smelling of beer and puke? But maybe Devon managed to clean himself up a bit before he got into bed with Jay. And was he even sober enough to drive? Over here just as many people get busted for DUI the day after, when they pick up their car or go home after a sleep-over. But I do feel sorry for Jay, since he'll probably feel bad about this for a while. Hopefully, it will make him avoid Devon, so he doesn't encourage him without knowing it.

    Chapter 7

Well now, there is hope for Jay and Scott, even if Jay cannot admit it yet. And they both have trauma in their past, so they can relate and make allowances for moody days. I was a bit annoyed with Dani for abandoning Jay, but she made up for it by showing him where Scott was. Vanessa needs to chill out.

    Chapter 6

Jay and Scott seem to connect nicely, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 'romantic developments'. Devon sort of creeps me out, but I don't know why. He could just be a nice guy who does his best to be friendly and cheer Jay up. The very determined NO to drinking had me applauding loudly. Good for you, Jay !

    Chapter 5

Hmmm, I'm beginning to become annoyed with Devon. Why does he butt in on Scott and Jay's plans ? And why doesn't he offer Scott a ride ? And Jay's grandmother should ask if he prefers to be called Jay. She seems bright, so how can she miss out on this?

    Chapter 4

Poor Jay, none of his old strategies work and people notice him and want to hang out with him. Must be stressful, but hopefully he can get used to having friends.

    Chapter 3

I'm with Cole here, I absolutely detest shopping malls and buying clothes. But at least he got it all done in one go, so he doesn't have to go back. I assume they got shoes too, even if you don't mention it.
  24. Timothy M.

    Chapter 2

Wow, talk about the kind (fairy) grandmother who suddenly changes Jay's life into something completely different. No wonder he can hardly believe it's true. And I loved the FINE acronym, lol.
  25. Timothy M.

    Chapter 1

Interesting beginning, Jay certainly has had bad odds until now, but maybe his luck will turn. I hate people talking to me on planes too, but Devon turned out to be helpful.
