    Chapter 24

So do you still want me to add to the list of Will's sexual encounters ? I'd think that being under 18 would protect Will from any public revenge porn by Dustin or his friends, as they would get nailed for child pornography. And I bet Dustin would be too afraid of Brad to do anything stupid about his son.

    Part 1

This is one of my favorite stories. I feel so sorry for Mason, but I'm glad he found out, so he could get rid of his cheating husband and selfish friend. Hopefully, dating Alex will be the start of something better.
  3. Maybe the pastor can get washed overboard and drown ? We're allowed to hope, right?
  4. Yes, Robbie, be happy that you can turn your back on a mess which was never your fault. You don't have to be a father just because a silly girl steals your sperm and her family won't let her do the sensible thing. But of course it's harder to ignore when she's living in the same town and is friends with your adopted sister. It would be great if you and Nathan could live somewhere else.

    Communications

YES! Eric finally got the better of the nosy neighbour, I love it. Unfortunately, it won't make her back off with ambushing him. Ugh, I really dislike people like that. Mind your own b..... business. Good thing Emily reminded Eric about a wedding gift, and that it can be the basis for a renewed contact with Rob.

    Valley Narrows

At least they had warning and may make it home in time, but if Vikkel really cared about his Hold, he would send Jevikel ahead on one of the runner beasts and stay in the shelter until someone could bring another animal to pull the cart. Because if they arrive just before Threadfall there won't be much time to organize the Hold.

    Winter

As far as I recall, the black dust appearance began shortly after the Winter Solstice, but was only noticed about a sevenday before the first threadfall of this Pass and after Ramoth's egg clutched. When the weather turned warmer, there were a few threadfalls, and then Lessa went back in time. So I'm thinking this is more or less where we are in the timeline. In any case, the boys have missed the Impression of Ramoth's first clutch, but that means they'll also not be subjected to the back-in-time expedition to the Southern Continent, which had some negative consequences initially, but also caused a lot of great events in the future and the ultimate destruction of the threat of Thread.

    Dragonriders

I like how both boys show they are caring and responsible. They're not just thinking of themselves. Nice way to get the timeline fixed. Lessa didn't go back in time until after Ramoth's eggs were hatched, as far as I recall.

    Ties

Ha, ha, I nearly spit out my tea over the keyboard when Brian didn't recognize Eric. The tie was a great idea. Rob is clever when he uses his brain rather than other parts of his anatomy. But when he combines them, he's actually quite hot. Wouldn't mind meeting a guy like him, and he's more or less my age too.

    A Benden Rider

Lessa may be scary but she's also fair, and F'lar is sensible and wise.

    Back at Benden

D'gar might have given more warning to the youngsters, for their sake. He is too upright and cautious sometimes.
  13. Timothy M.

    Aftermath

D'gar is too modest at times, but luckily some dragonriders can see his worth.
  14. Timothy M.

    In the Infirmary

Poor J'rud, but at least he's found someone he likes and is not pining after D'gar anymore.
  15. Timothy M.

    Arguments

D'gar is so conscientious about doing his job as a Dragonrider. Other people could lern a lot from him.
  16. D'gar is a loyal friend as well as a caring lover. He's a good guy and deserves to be happy.

    Going South

Or perhaps being chosen went to her head, and she didn't get much help from Lessa, but only the wrong kind of attention from other people.

    Fort Weyr

I'm glad the explanation about the dangers of timing it has come out, so D'gar won't be tempted to do it too often.
  19. Yup, F'drun is a nasty contriving psychopat. Glad D'gar knows the worst not, so he can be on guard.

    Helping Out

M'rell needs a good kick in the butt. He should be pleased to have a resposible and caring WingSecond like D'gar.

    Prideth Rises

Poor J'rud. Maybe he'll get lucky and R'feem or B'lin will be his partner.
  22. I'm glad we're seeing so much of F'nor, and he seems to realize D'gar is sensible and a good source of information.

    Fall Again

That might teach the Benden Riders to listen to the Oldtimers about the dangers of fighting Thread and be less complacent.

    Going South

Worst of all, Kylara's irresponsible behavior was the reason Brekke lost her queen. Brekke only survived because of her ability to hear fire lizards, and because she had F'nor. Kylara went catatonic (as her queen disappeared between, too) and died soon after, and good riddance !

    A New Weyr

I always liked F'nor. He's sensible, clever and loyal. He and Brekke are a good couple, although this hasn't happened yet.
