  1. I think this chapter was great in letting us feel how their relationship develops. Not redundant at all, so it was a good decision to write it.
  2. If you haven't read any of Cia's Carthera stories, this is the perfect place to start. Jerret is a tiger Carthera, meaning he's more than human in strength and a few other abilities. But he's also lonely and a little shy - and gay. Somehow, he wormed his way into my heart, and I return to this story often to read about his meeting with Calix, who isn't at all like what he expects at first.

  3. Don'r forget another of my favorites:
  4. Probably. Did they have a bridge with a long rise and a sharp dip, and a barge struck a pillar, so the section with the dip fell down ? Hmm, I looked the Tasman bridge up, but it doesn't sound familiar. Perhaps my friend was worried a similar accident might occur on the bridge in Perth. I was told the story more than 25 years ago, so my memory could be at fault.
  5. I've finally finished preparing for work tomorrow, so no I can relax with a visit to GA and some story writing. LOL, well I think the bridge is OK now - although searching for the story brought up several articles asking Are Australia's bridges safe ?
  6. And the opposite side from all the flooding. Perth is the only city I know in SW Australia. I have a friend who lived there ages ago. He said going over the bridge over the river was always a bit scary, due to the accident where a section fell off during a foggy night. Hmm, trying to find some info about that accident, and failing. Am I getting the city wrong?
  7. I'm glad @droughtquake brought 'the retired social worker' up, then I don't have to. But of course an old, single, gay man would never be allowed to foster two teenage boys. The evil dirty minds of people would make all kinds of wrong assumptions about that scenario. I still think Robbie is better off keeping quiet about the assault for now, in spite of the obvious mental problems. if he could get some privacy to Skype with Tom, he might be able to tell him, once he's sworn him to secrecy. Oh, and his comment to Sue about not trusting her is fully justified IMO. Until she shows she's OK with Robbie being gay, she'll be in my black book. As for running off to Florida with Alex, Robbie may toy with the idea, but I think he's too sensible and too scared of Alex to do it. But he could offer to give him plenty of money, if he goes on his own, without Luke. It would probably be much easier for the social worker to find a foster home for Luke without Alex. But Luke will of course be distraught at being abandoned.
  8. Hear, hear. Hypnotic is one of my favorite stories too. I've always been fascinated by snakes.

    Taking Notes

You forgot to say you sometimes share those notes with us, making us beg to know more.

    Taking Notes

I've rarely had so many ideas, I needed to write them down, so as not to forget them. But I still use notes around my stories, mainly to make sure I follow up on hints from earlier chapters and don't contradict myself.

    Happenings

I think Brian's reaction at Eric's declaration was fine, and he didn't ask any silly questions at that time. It's his thoughts afterwards I'm shaking my head at.
  12. Thank you, Daveh, your comment made my day. I hope to get back to Patrick and Peter when I've finished my current story which I'm writing with Aditus. If you haven't already read the Angel and Imp stories in this series, you could give them a try while you wait.
  13. Ahh, of course. No, not everyone is afraid of saying Azrael's name. Rahmiel is being a little silly here. I agree completely with your sin observation.

    Happenings

Oh, I'm not saying he bigoted, just ignorant. But even so, he should know that the answer to 'Since when' is 'All his life'.
  15. LOL, no grilling by lawyers to find the truth. And no talk about sin, either, only humans plagued by religious nonsense invented that. Stay tuned for the next chapter, but until then (I'm going to run out of those).
  16. Ohhh, interesting how you get all protective about Diego, I like that. I'm sure Sablo would love to roast some high up butts, but he may regret it if both the A's get angry with him. You'll learn more about the special missions, but yes, those poor kids had a very high risk of death or mental trauma, which was exactly why Diego became their Guardian Angel. His presence and the comfort he gave, made a huge difference. No Big Guy, but there are some Higher Powers. But you're right about them being remote.
  17. Finally, finally I get to you. Yes, I think Azrael will not be happy with anyone trying to cozy up to Diego. But I wonder what the cupid thinks about being abandoned all of a sudden.
  18. Since Angie may not need halo polish for much longer, I'm sure you can borrow some. I'm not sure cupids will consider a bit of nestling target practice enough payment for pissing Ayil off. I'm glad you liked how we ran with your idea. As for your question
  19. Why, Sablo would never get his brother into trouble.
  20. You're welcome. Aditus and I were looking forward to seeing what readers would think of this chapter. Flirty yet bureaucratic cupids is a very good description of the Cupid Central crowd. We loved writing the nestling encounter.
  21. I'm not sure any human is age appropriate for Ayil, who might be seen as cradle robbing even a 70-year-old guy. No @aditus stories without delicious food - and Sablo and Theo got shot when meeting for a drink in the very same bar. However, my A.I. team don't eat or drink, because they're different categories of beings. No wonder you're confused. Not sure what your question about the scar is about.
  22. Purple prose sounds much better than PWP I started out my writing with erotica, so romance and plots are quite difficult concepts for me, not to mention dialogue. I'm all over the compliments, they sure made my day.
  23. Yep, I sure did discover the reason.

    Happenings

OH NO ! Oh poor Eric, what a set back. But at least Brian will know to get in touch with Andy. I was so proud of Eric coming out to his friend, and for telling himself Brian would have to adjust. Seems it won't be easy, considering his silly questions. Since when?
