Finally five min together to leave the thought that I absolutely loved the chapter! I also wonder about the lady in the park. Still a tad sceptical about sister dearest. If something seems too good to be true it usually is. Would hurt the boys tenfold if she pulls another about face. Well done my friend!

I guess being an older female who came of age in a male dominated timeframe gives me a different perspective. To me a lady captain using a predominantly male associated name comes across as minimizing the sexual prejudices. A friend of mine's name IS Julia, but professionally (she is a lawyer) she uses Jules.

Looks like some of us were up waiting for your chapter to post! I like the changes in sister dearest, but I am a protective old lady. I still find myself suspicious of the speed of the turn around and the reasons behind it.

Yep, as well as run a boarding facility, teach riding, and supply trailer services to shows.

We start with horses with the right temperaments then work with them for several weeks teaching them to tolerate the apparatus and things like verbal and physical outbursts.

With our program, yes there is quite a bit more. Before starting therapeutic riding, every client is seen by a study team consisting of a doc, a physical therapist, an occupational therapist and a certified therapeutic riding instructor and an IEP is developed. Then there are various physical and mental exercises to achieve the goals set in the IEP. We do things like weaving around cones and Rin tossing, playing catch, matching colors, stretching and balance work, and memory stuff by stringing tasks together. Takes a special horse not to freak out as balls and foam rings, or when an autistic child becomes agitated.

Pretty good so far. Started a bit rough when a therapy client slapped her mom, but once we got her on the horse things smoothed out.

Nicely thank you. Today is my late night at the barn, so work doesn't start till around 3 pm (Est). Just sort of goofing off and relaxing after a 15 he day at the horse show yesterday. By now should be about quitting time GMT. How was your day?
