I've been on both sides of the equation that is depression, tho thankfully nothing like what tim needs to deal with. Your actions help more than you will ever know!

Letting Go (or the day my heart broke, just a little)
Kitt commented on mollyhousemouse's blog entry in Mollyhousemouse's Stash
You can and should be there for any child, PD or no PD. It is a similar regret to my having left the after school child care system I worked in for 15 years. The parents at the barn all know it is safe for them to allow their early teens to hang at the barn without them looking over their shoulders when I am there,(the other instructors too, I just spend more time there than they do). There are lots of youth groups who would love having a former PD officer as a councilor! That is as it should be! LOL -
Dinner at Grandmother's House
Kitt commented on Brayon's story chapter in Dinner at Grandmother's House
I told he I want a back story on what caused the split! -
Hanging in the Centre and talking with those there I have learned there is a very big difference between D/s and S&M. We had a father at the daycare who used to tell us how he is the dominant party in the family and both his wife and daughter always submit to his wishes. He was rather surprised when he broke his daughters collar bone and momma left him, got a restraining order, and we would not allow him to take the girl out of our care, calling the local PD as soon as he arrived in the parking lot. I think he was more surprised at me standing between him and the child with a baseball bat in my hands! Its people like him referring to himself as a Dom that cause a lot of the misconceptions.

My point in saying I try turning off the editor in me is that there were no huge glaring errors that made me want to send it back to you corrected!

Nuh uh! Details, I want tim's version of the back story, the conclusion of self defense, and more, more, more! Ok, now that the hungry bird nonsense is out of my system... This was a little lovely and suspenseful short I enjoyed it immensely It was well written. I try to turn the editor off when I read for pleasure. This was definitely a read for pleasure.

Letting Go (or the day my heart broke, just a little)
Kitt commented on mollyhousemouse's blog entry in Mollyhousemouse's Stash
It gets easier molly. First time is the hardest. We just have to trust that we have given them the skills to deal. -
I couldn't picture doing anything to promote my prompt responses. They are short, usually funny, and always seem to beg for more that I can't seem to manage to write. I have had readers ask for stories to continue, but once I hit a certain point, that's it, my muse is done and its time to move on to something else!

Tech Tuesday - Quotes, Mentions and Etiquette
Kitt commented on Myr's blog entry in Gay Authors Archive
Highlighting on my phone is a pain period! I either get half words at the beginning and end or three posts highlighted!- 10 comments

Tech Tuesday - Quotes, Mentions and Etiquette

I love "quote this" on the computer, on my phone not so much. There I find it easier to quote the whole passage then delete the parts I am not addressing.- 10 comments

Damn well told!

I buy extra purposely and then pack "real food" lunches to take to the barn with me. Hubby takes his lunch as well.

I've given up soda other than seltzer for the most part, but they can take my one Pepsi a day out of my cold dead hands!

I found a caramel flavored tea that is almost too sweet with no sugar. Lable claims no additional carb/calories and does great for killing a case of the "I want sweets".

Wasn't any better here. If I didn't know because it runs in my family I'd have been up the creek. When Mom was diagnosed they sent her to a "nutritionist" who told her she could have a cup of pasta a week, but only a tablespoon of tomato sauce on it, claiming too much added sugar in the sauce. We make our own, no added sugar! Just fresh tomatoes cooked with seasonings till right consistency! So much for "professional" help!

You are quite right about there being a ton of things that are on our "diet lists". All I really needed to do when diagnosed was to focus on what I CAN have, and not on what I shouldn't. I would love to find a website or something that explains the differences in the blood sugar numbers. If I ever walked into my doc's office with an 18 he would hospitalize me! On our scale if you go below a 70 on waking they panic!

Chapter 22 Matters of the heart
Kitt commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 22 Matters of the heart
Some mistakes are much more amusing than others! -
Been there, read that, liked it!

I worked for 20 years in a factory as the only female in a support union, alongside a manufacturing union. When they closed that facility I spent the next 15 working in the school system as a before and after care provider to age 11, and in the lunchrooms at all levels. Guess where I heard more use of **** and other "offensive" words?

Ok, so much for skimming to be sure of which chapter I am on and picking the appropriate emoji. I find myself reading word for word in spite of my best efforts to just skim!
