Good Lord! Here we go again. I am so glad the majority of us agreed with Sasha on my new title!

When Wings was little ( seems like yesterday ) I had the advantage of grandma taking care of her until she was 3 years old and no longer able to keep up with her. At that point we felt like a daycare would be good socialization for her before she began school, and in fact always referred to it as school. There were many moms with children around Wings' age who chose to put careers on hold to be stay home moms, at least for a while. I found myself looked down upon constantly for "abandoning my child" to the ministrations of someone "you don't really know". It infuriated me to the point where one neighbor and I ended up in the middle of the street with the strollers, me shouting at her that if I don't really know my own mother, how the hell can she trust the baby sitter she hired off the internet last night so they could go out to dinner. The differences in support and attitude, even among new mothers, is staggering. Every lady needs to make the decisions for themselves based on their circumstances. The fact that hormones can get royally screwed up after giving birth, severely affecting not only their health but also the decision making process, is what makes PPD so wicked a thing to deal with. For years it was passed off as "the baby blues" and mothers were told to just "snap out of it and deal". Thankfully medicine has come a long way, but there is still the issue of mom recognizing something isn't right and telling doc about it. In our circle, the mom who had a bad case of PPD was the LAST person to realize it.

I think most of us have entertained that possibility since we put two and two together and figured it would have been easier to fake Costa's death than Poll's. Not quite. I have not condemned Priest for any of his actions, I simply said I wouldn't trust him. He is a rascal and gets himself into trouble easily thanks to foot-in-mouth disease. I think fully half of the people I call friends suffer from that affliction. Doesn't make em bad people. Arbour? He really needs to stop hating himself for the dwarfism. Till he does that he can't begin to accept that others don't hate him. I am not even sure where to start with all the speculation you guys have started in my head! A Costa/Priest/Arbour three way would never work. I can see Costa and Arbour getting far enough past their differences to be friends but Lovers ? Don't see it. I can see Arbour and Angus eventually being together, but not in this book. I see Angus hanging in the background here like Priest did in the last book and things picking up around chapter two or three. My general thoughts on threesomes? As casual group sex it works. As part of a three way committed relationship it works. As a casual add on to a committed couple? Don't think so. I have known committed tripples, both single sex and mixed sexes. The key is every individual feeling strongly for each of the other two. Every couple I have ever known who tried to add a third without having the strong feelings have ended in disaster. Personally, I do not share well when it comes to things like that, so for me it would never even be considered. I would be too tempted to kill the third. Oh - and one tripple I know who has been together for 26 yrs and counting have a 4 bedroom house. One bed for each of the two girls and the guy, and one that is "their" room.
