LOL very possible - or she could just be in NY for the wedding, although if she refused to go for the dedication of the Marie Crampton amphitheater in Clairemont i doubt that Janine's wedding will be important enough to her to interrupt her busy social schedule, something that hardly seems even dented by being "grounded". That term must have drastically changed since i was a teen - if i were grounded i wouldn't have seen a mall, theater, boy or friend in general till i had both learned the lesson and done the time. I can't wait to see how JP finds out about Marie's duplicity in going directly to Eric. Means she not only lied to her parents about apologizing to Will, she lied directly to JP in how Eric found out, and intentionally set out to hurt Will. And we all know how JP reacts to people intentionally hurting his family. I am thinking Will will tell Stef and Stef will forget all about his promise of being more discrete and take it to JP.

LOL like i said in my review Tim? What do you call deaths from AIDS if not a consequence of unprotected sex? How about the twin pregnancies? Hell - even ACE's very existence was a consequence of unprotected sex when Andre and JP were little more than college kids. Just cause some of those turned out wonderfully doesn't make them anything but the result of sex. The word consequence has a negative connotation, but the direct meaning is a result of specific actions.

Unlike the Tiffany/Wade/Matt situation, Janine didn't plan things that way and Cody was tossed into the mix to boot. I can certainly see why Eric thought the evening would turn sour when he asked if the infection had come from Will. Seems to me like the entire date may have been another attempt to get that info. Also looks like Marie has even more to answer for than the family knows. Noah may be in for a rude surprise, since it seems like Marie dating him was twofold, to get back at Will again, and to prove she has nothing against the less ...privileged. Girl is wracking up the bad karma. Even among the high school set that sort of shit comes back to bite you eventually. I get the feeling it is going to be one long ( 22 day in story time) climb to the top of that roller coaster, and then all the various twists hitting at the same time. Marie's scheming, Wills issues with Brad, the wedding, and a host of other smaller plot ticks all coinciding with the big one we've been eyeballing all summer. The only negative I can think of at all as far as your writing sir is that I long to hear where other characters are hiding and what is going on in their lives. Not just the more mane characters like Wade, Matt and Nana, but some of the supporting staff like Cole. But there is just so much potential material out there after 5 years i suppose it must be difficult to pick and choose. Riveting as always sir. I've barely finished reading and am already drooling for more.

May also have something to do with the way his parents treated Matt before finally coming around. It was bad enough to have been lied to for all those years about being adopted. To suddenly seem to have tossed him away just because he was gay was not only cruel - it was stupid. Hurts like that run deep. Forgiving is one thing - forgetting is completely different!

I think Brad isn't quite as Jekyll and Hyde as you think. He treated Will well as an emancipated teen when Will was behaving like a well behaved teen. The biggest decisions he was making was to go to St Louis, spend time surfing in Maui, things of that nature. These are things he likely would have been allowed to do even had he not been emancipated. That changed when Will started making more "adult oriented" decisions without consulting him first ie. buying the house in Maui, having the bar stocked, and planning the play room.

i can't speak for french family traditions ( something Isidore would be very attached to I think) but in an italian family it works just as methodwriter has said - it would go to the eldest male child who was not already married to give to his intended. It does show that nurture carries more weight than nature when you consider that Darius is actually the son of Bitty and a man that little is known about and less is cared about. Perhaps Isidore has indeed learned her lesson about treating family properly. According to strict tradition John would have been the one to receive the rings despite his young age considering he is the only male grandchild with a direct lineage to Isidore and JP.

I think it is just devious that Mark has planned the ceremony for 8 min after the second plane hit. All the family should be together (barring the usual family craziness and someones refusal to attend) and well within range of the devastation. As fascinated as I am with the story and impatient to see how Mark handles it, I can't say i am looking forward to reliving the events. I live close enough that I was able to watch in horrid fascination from my upstairs window as the second plane flew into the second tower. But as horrible as the day was, i think it was even worse when one of my kindergarten students thought it was happening again on the first anniversary because of all the media coverage.

I didn't see Marie being on a virtual lock down, having all money and credit cards taken away, being forced to deal with body guards she found personally repugnant or being turned over to a handler that was intending to rape her to teach her a lesson either. Extreme situations beget extreme reactions.

I never did understand what sexuality had to do with ability to lead. Sure the royal family has the continuation of the bloodlines to worry about, but honestly - other than that what the hell difference does it make whom a royal has in their bed. I do not believe that there has never been a back stairs relationship for either the men or women of the line, and am quite sure it will happen again in the future.

OK - things are just going too smoothly for too long. Sure there has been the little rough spot with the family gossip chain, but there hasn't been any really big drama since Will left St Louis. Even the conversation where Isidore asked for the divorce was amicable. How long are you going to leave the coaster hanging on the top of the climb?
