“Unless something happens and we need to escape for a few days. I’m looking forward to a couple of quiet months.” Famous last words.

You know that pitch fork I was sharpening earlier? I have several to arm other readers with.
  7. Kitt
I don't see any pitchforks. *cringes as my whet stone makes an odd sound dragging over a point*

The draw back is a 3 week wait for the new block and lower end assembly to be delivered. The loaner the dealer gave us is tiny! F350 to a focus.

    Good point! * 7-11 here I come!*

Blew an injector in my truck, which turned out to be one I replaced less than a year ago. Warranty will cover all repairs. Hidden damage means they decided to replace the block. I decided to replace some parts on a "just because it is 18 years old and it makes sense" basis. Bottom line is that I will end up with a whole new power plant for about $600.

Sir-escapes-a-lot. Love it! I had Lady Houdini @ that age. Every time I blinked she disappeared.

Ok, did you pull and then repost chapters 1 & 2? I read and liked them, but I am sure it was not in Feb of this year! Anyway, nice chapter. I am enjoying watching these two drive each other batty!

Don't think he has the balls. He is at least partially aware of CJ taking on a Russian spy, can't see Northy putting himself in harms way.

CJ should take notes when Oz tells these stories. Oh wait...

There are doctors that can help these things. That's because Northman IS a complete douche.

Just what sort of bug crawled up Northmans posterior? Seems like he is making it a point to oppose anything that calls attention to CJ. Isn't attention and how you use it one of the goals of diplomacy on this level? Advising our boy to turn down anything already approved by the higher ups seems like it would be worse for Northman than it would for CJ. I can see it now. " I am sorry Madam Secretary, but Northman told me not to do the interview even though everyone else likes the idea. Seems he thinks it will prevent me from doing an adequate job at my official duties." Yeah the words flatulence and houses of worship come to mind!

Perhaps if all those disgruntled employees approached the twits boss by letter or email, the shear volume alone should spark a review.

There are only 2 people I have ever hung up on ( telemarketers not included) but the one guy is a repeat offender and I have ended calls with him frequently. He's the one says I am over sensitive and he was not being rude.
  21. Kitt
I have to admit, I was not that polite. I told the dude to call back when he grew up.
  22. Kitt
Thanks guys. I was told I was over reacting by hanging up.

Need opinions. Would any of you tell someone to knock off shouting at you for something beyond your control and/or end a call if they continue to be nasty with you?

I got my certification to judge horse shows.

Glad to see I had not misunderstood the way Mace stepped protectively between Caleb and the loudmouth. Now, just wtf happened in Caleb's past to trigger this sort of animosity?
