I was never so glad to get out of apartment living. Beautiful place with hard wood floors. Upstairs neighbors were nice enough but walked heavy. Was like living in a bass drum. When she was told to stay off her feet early in a difficult pregnancy she took to rolling around the place in the wheeled dining chairs ( it was a late 70's early 80's thing to put wheels on anything you can). Thought i had moved into the tunnel under Pocono Speedway! Similar rumble just lower decibles.

We had one room air unit in the living room, and fans in the windows of the bedrooms. In particularly hot weather we tacked a blanket over the arch to the rest of the house and we all camped out on the sofas and floor. Was sort of fun except dad always got control of the tv.

Does sunny and very humid count as wet and miserable? Had 91% this am so we changed our plans for the day. So much for our day off!

Afternoon gang. Just stopping in to say hi before dinner since I am pretty sure I am going to crash after. Since the FEI ( governing body of the horse show world) opened the season up I have been running non stop. Had a great day at the show today, five horses , 9 riders, and a bejibber load of ribbons, and I am fried!

I am quite sure we ALL should have more adult supervision. Problem is none of us qualifies !

Sometimes we ARE granted a next time. I survived both cancer and the cure for it. tim survived his past to find you. Many of us got a second chance, and I refuse to waste it. I have slowly been eliminating the takers who give nothing back but more demands, and am happier for it. In a depreciating spiral? Work to change it. Dont expect instant improvement or you will be disappointed. In a good place? Work to keep it good. Too easily the takers will slip in with something small, but it roots like an invasive weed. I work daily to "weed my garden". Dont get me wrong, I enjoy giving and doing for others, but I need to eliminate the greedy takers. A simple "Thank you" is usually all it takes to keep you out of that column on my list.

That is part of what you have a team for, to catch that before it goes to print.
