I have a metal clip board and strip magnets for my cross stitch patterns. I also found blowing it up on a photo copier and marking rows off with a highliter helpful when working complicated patterns.

Chair yes, but I am on the shaded side of the building in long sleeves, fuzzy vest and about the only thing you can see of me is my hands and eyes. Its cold out here.

Ok, I made it in the door at mvc today. I have a number, but have not yet turned in my papers. Now serving G50. I am G140. Wake me at serving G130 please.

Oh, good lord! Just checked the website out of curiosity. Where 3 centers in the state were closed due to covid for a 14 day quarantine, they now have 6, and are down to 9 facilities still accepting customers. That is out of 39 facilities in the state. Less than 25 % of the centers are open!

This is a 2 horse trailer, simple transaction. If I ever get in the door it will take maybe 5 minutes tops. The trick is getting inside!

I haven't actually been inside an MVC since last time I renewed my license. I do most things online, but titling a new vehicle has to be done in person.

Not much on either chocolate or wine, but I am seriously considering some sort of horrible for you comfort food for dinner, then chips, dip and some Baileys on ice in front of a movie. Will try MVC again tomorrow. They give out numbers at opening and today by the time I arrived 15 min after opening they had run out of numbers for the day. Tomorrow I will be on line 30 min before open. Taking a lawn chair, an extra jacket and my breakfast with me and setting up camp. Never did that for a damn concert, but after 5 failled attempts in the last month the temp registration on the new trailer runs out today so camping it is!

Since the system seems to be conspiring against me today I think I will return home, crawl into my nice warm bed and proceed to ignore the world. Someone let me know if war is declared or some such other world altering event occurs.

When a friends mom passed, brother sent all the yarn etc to friends wife. Took us 3 days to sort and stack it neatly in the closet of the spare room. It filled.the closet. Literally, completely filled.

Happy holiday you northerners! Here is one for the "Karma is a b****" club. At Saturdays show we had a 4 yr old Thoroughbred who needs to be taught how to get on the trailer politely. As I am working with him a friend of the owner walks up and takes the horse from me and uses heavy handed methods to get him on the trailer. I prefer to make it more pleasant for the animal so he does not fear the process next time. The good part? Back to take other horses home from the 3 day show, and the rude "expert" friend could not get his own horse onto the trailer!

Most craft stores sell what they call fat quarters, just over a quarter yard of material cut from the tail end of a bolt. Quilters love em since they can get lots of colors and patterns for piecework.

I'm the crazy lady on the block in costume to answer the door. There is talk about the governor banning ToT this year, and I understand it, but that doesn't mean I like it!

I think I am getting too darn old for back to back all day horse shows. But my old man did 6 flat classes at the IEA show with 6 different kids and took home 5 ribbons including one blue. The grumpy old fart still got it! And today's customer took her first blue ribbon eventing today.
