    I agree with the others, this was absolutely fabulous chapter. Courtroom scenes make usually rather dull reading, but you did great. Can´t wait for the next chapter

    One kidnapping, two miserable men Ben will have few panic attacks while with Will and Rick will be close to a panic attack not knowing where Ben is. Great story (and I´m really hoping it has a happy ending).

    Oh wow, Rick´s mother is a ghastly woman. Why couldn´t Ben and Lance talk to Rick? I know, this way it´s more dramatic.

    Doug claims that Ben is like a brother to him and yet he hasn´t seen him in weeks. I understand that a baby takes a lot of time and energy, but surely you check on your friend who almost died. When Ben finally goes back to work, first thing he does is gets rid of the clients and locks himself in his office. And Doug thinks it´s normal behaviour and Ben is just sulking. Really?? Very depressing chapter, but the way yo are telling this story is great.

    Scary when you forget to breathe. I think Rick is wrong not to tell anyone about how bad Ben is feeling.

    Such a sad chapter Ben needs help, professional help to get through this. Rick is very patient but he too, needs to see someone professional to help him understand what´s going on in Ben´s head.

    Now we know why Rick never told his family he´s gay. His mother and her friend were very weird, they treated a 30 year old man like he´s a little boy, who can´t possibly know what he is and who he loves. Rick was ready to say he loves Ben, but sadly Ben isn´t there yet and I´m getting a bad feeling about this.

    It´s strange to think that they´ve only known each other for four weeks, of which Ben has been unconscious for three weeks. And yet his first thought is Rick when he wakes up again. Rick is only one who can keep him calm and feeling safe. Ben is very forgiving (or do I mean stupid?) but the only right thing to do, is to tell the police it was Will who hurt him. Rick is right, Will will kill someone if he isn´t caught and put in a safe place where he can get help.

    This was a tough chapter to read, revealing so many horrible things from the past and I have a feeling there´ll be more. Poor Ben, he really has had a hard life. Not easy for Rick to wait and see if his boyfriend survives or not, and they´ve only known each other a very short time. Very impressed how organised Ben is, everything sorted and ready in case of an emergency.
