I need my smartphone and laptop, both basically for the same reason, internet, reading, Facebook, keeping in touch with everything and everyone.
I have a very old TV I hardly ever watch, when it stops working I probably won´t buy a new one.
This was such a sad chapter, you got me in tears It´s hard to say goodbye when someone´s going to be away for a long time and must be devastating to say goodbye and to know it may be a final goodbye. Really felt sorry for them all.
Another great chapter. Really felt sorry for Sarah, she misses her grandmother and can´t understand what´s going on. She´s lucky to have Graham and Craig and Button. Kevin probably didn´t learn much from what happened, but hopefully Button´s life gets easier at school.
In my work I´ve met too many parents like Mary Dooley, parents who think their children are never wrong. Name calling and taking things away from someone is never right thing to do and can lead to more serious incidents. Poor Button! But he does have great dads. And poor Sarah! I´m sure she enjoys living with her brother and his dads, but she must miss her grandmother.
I liked this version better. Derek is a great character, much better than Daniel was and without any love triangles, just a good friend. That company wanting to buy the land brought enough drama. Patrick´s dad wasn´t very subtle talking about Kenny when Jerry went there for the first time. Sid and Roger were absolutely brilliant friends to Jerry, without their help he probably wouldn´t have been able to turn his life around. I liked this Patrick better, he was more humble and down to earth sort of guy than the one you have in the other version. I can see Patrick becoming the mayor one day.
Great story
Daniel wanted Jerry, wanted to provide for him and basically make all the decisions. At least it sounded that way. Daniel was the one who left because he couldn´t understand Jerry wanting to have an equal partner. Jerry and Daniel wouldn´t have lasted for long if they had stayed together. I didn´t like Patrick at first, but he turned out to be a lovely guy. I think Jerry made the right decision, Patrick is the better option for him. Hopefully they´ll have a wonderful life together.
Wonderful story. Loved the way you described father´s worry and anxiety about how to say and do the right thing when his son brings home his boyfriend.
I tend to avoid fantasy but I liked this story.
It was all there, the sunshine, the sea, summer and love. Beautiful love story, great characters, surprisingly one of the characters was from my own country. Well written story, that had a surprising twist and a happy ending. I really enjoyed reading it.
They are so sweet to each other and so much in love. I´m glad they got together and hopefully they won´t start fighting right away. Couldn´t they just love one and other and enjoy being in love?
I very much enjoyed this story. There were plenty of happiness and sadness, disappointments and growing up, understanding and hatred and lots of love. Everything a good story needs.
I agree with Gene, a sequel would be great.
Poor Adam! Hopefully one day people stop blaming him for every gay kid in the town. And not a promising start for Chris and Scott´s talk with their parents. I admire Yvonne and Kevin they really want what´s best for everyone and they want to make sure everyone is safe and looked after.
I was planning on having an early night, but now I need to find out what´ll happen to Scott and Chris....Do they still have parents? Or will Castle-Johnson family start building an extension to their house?
I think the parents were right to get the police involved. It was an assault and things would probably just get worse if the bullies thought they´d get away with everything they were doing. Poor Randy! He wants to be a good friend and brother, but now he is being bullied and in a danger of being really hurt.
Slowly David is starting to understand what is happening around him and how to be a supportive friend. Hopefully Scott´s parents turn out to be loving and accepting parents who won´t turn their backs on their child.
I don´t like David much at the moment either. He´s a teenager and he´s dealing with something he doesn´t know or understand, but he is being....stubborn...not sure stubborn is a right word. Anyway it seems like he´s not willing to really think about what is happening or trying to change his way of thinking. He´s expecting others to start to think the way he is thinking and that´s not happening and that increases David´s confusion.
I like it´s David telling the story and at the same time there are parts of it told in Adam´s POV and also Randy´s. Surely that slap means Liz thinks David´s being a idiot not supporting Adam.
