Being from New Zealand, I had to look up Crater Lake. You must of had an awesome time. It looks so beautiful there. As soon as I saw the title of this chapter I thought, "No. No. No". I must admit that if I was Nash, I would have really freaked out once I realised I had been playing with Penn's hair. I would have been mortified. I feel really sorry for Nash's Parents, especially his Dad. It would have been just like losing/being betrayed by a Son. Poor Penn. Feeling like a yoyo. Going up then down and at the same time spinning as well. Being pulled in then flicked away, pulled in then flicked away, etc. Hopefully this Holiday will be 'cleansing' for Nash. If he uses the cryptex whilst in Thailand I hope the question he asks is about Penn and not whether he should move away.

Firstly, thanks so much for releasing this chapter as quickly as you did. Secondly, I am loving how the Family is coming together. Jihan and Kastan and so good as are Jihan and Rashan. I think Jihan will start to be called Papa after his care of Rashan during his illness. I also loved how Jihan was the first thought Rashan had in regards to sharing in the excitement and joy of his win. The way it wasn't even really thought about, that it was 'natural'. And then for him to have presented the hair pin to Jihan - I would have melted. The two things about Nisa: I am glad that other people (including Kastan) can see how she feels/how she has been acting. However, I am also worried as she see's herself almost as a woman scorned. She feels entitled because she believes she is Kastan's proper Mate/Partner. She would feel that she has 'right' on her side and that everyone else, including Kastan, is wrong. She will be dangerous. Lastly, loving that Jihan's work within the valley is going well. The Valley folk will soon change their ways once they see the results. I am also glad it is Garren and Set that are looking after the Trading Post. They will be able to protect it. Thanks again for the sooner than expected release

Oh Hell No! The gloves are so off. They are so far off it was like they were never there in the first place! At least we know why Jonas/Lance are there. Considering how close Daimey is to Harry, I hope he is the one that wields the Spear. If there is a Hellhound at the door to Harry's Room, what has happened to Justy, Nate, the Guards, etc? It was so awesome to see Jonas have an awesome time with, and become part of, the Mendamero Men! Back to the Hellhounds - how dare they! They need to pay. They need to be destroyed. They need to be obliterated. Can Henry feel them at all and where they are? Just a wee little side note - this is so cool Mike. Thanks

Firstly, thanks very much for Lije and even Gerry. Gerry was a dick, but like I said previously, no-one deserves that. Secondly, I wonder what is up with Jonas. I can't think of anything from this story or The Golden Portifor that would explain whatever is going on. Is it something else that 'must be allowed to happen', etc? I am so glad you update as regularly as you do Mike.

Wow! That was alot. Well, you've earned that great big hug I promised. So Gavin and Max are all good. We are still awaiting an explanation about Lije. We never did get told about the conversation, I am assuming, Jonas had with Lije when he cut himself on the Spear. I know what I am hoping the conversation was about so that Lije is not a traitor at all. We shall see. I know they were not good people, but no-one deserved what Gerry, Ann and Bishop Lewis got. And poor Anthony. I didn't know how it would be possible, but I was hoping someone could save him.

That was so sad. Now we get to find out what Max's role is in this whole thing. It can't just be the killing of Lije or becoming the Boyfriend of Gavin? It is obviously not the killing of Dickwad? So it must be to do with the Spear or the Icon? Can't wait for the next chapter...

No! No! No! I felt like a traitor myself because I initially thought that Lije was the traitor, if anyone. But then I thought, " Why would they need an Out of World weapon to kill an Earthbound being?" So then I thought that it could only be Tobias? Then, we got to the end of the chapter. Now I'm thinking that it all may depend on one's interpretation of the word 'traitor' and Jonas IS the Renewer after all. Maybe the interpretation of 'death' needs to be revisited too. I have this shining pleading hope in my mind and heart. If it comes true, I will give you the biggest hug ever if we ever meet Mike. If I am wrong, well. Hope is its own good feeling too 😁

This story is just so interesting. All of the Rothenia stories are, but this one is special. I don't know what I'm saying. I think that about all of the stories as I'm reading them. Me thinks the Sword should go to Henry, n'est pas?

Well, that was an update and a half. So good to have Terry and Justy on site. Gosh, the troops really are gathering aren't they. I love Love LOVE Damien's accent. They would prolly hate my saying it, but Mendamero's Men are just darling. Are we going to "lose" Max as well? Can't wait to find out exactly what he is/can do.

Wow! Go Damien! I was surprised none of the boys said anything once they found out Henry was Mendamero. I would have freaked out if I was Henry and Lady Fenice knelt in front of me and asked for a blessing. Lady Fenice, asking me for a blessing as the Warrior of God! So you don't have to click your heels three times, but the rest of it is the same. If Home is where the Heart is, think of Home. Think of Ed.

Apart from the screaming whilst their bodies burn, there are a few people I know of that I would love to be able to flick my hand at and say, "Be gone". Then they actually are. That would be wicked cool. So glad Chris was able to manipulate the Chains. As far as I remember, he has not consciously done that previously. They are going to have to do something about the alarms. Maybe have them recognise Chris's specific energy signature. They can't go off, etc every time he visits. There is gonna be some major blow back in regards to the Demon General, Yonthar. The Demon Leaders would be truly disturbed to find that one of their own has been eliminated, etc. Exciting times ahead. I can't wait.

OMGoodness. There have been occasions in my life where I have been without proper toilet paper or even a proper toilet (e.g. a long drop). Usually involved visits to Family who lived in the country (i.e. boondocks) when I was younger. Well, New Zealand's version of the boondocks. Never a pleasant experience. Not at all. I wonder if Gavin's having slept means anything? Henry has always been special, as far as I'm concerned. Wonder if he gets to keep his "Powers" once dickwad has been eliminated? Maybe he does and that is why Rothenia will no longer need The Icon?

I think it was inconsiderate not to invite Lee to the Halloween Party. Where else could he wear his costume? There are not a lot of places you can wear an athletic supporter and a mattress strapped to your back. Like Geemeedee said - take the spousal support! Also, just wondering when someone will give Penn and Nash a Gift Certificate for, and direct them to, the "Get A Clue" shop. Can't wait to 'see' Penn's home once finished. It sounds perfect. So very very glad that someone (Terry and Richard) are fighting back in the UK. Individuals and Organisations in the UK seemed so easy to manipulate. Then it was like they just rolled over.

Surprised (although I guess I shouldn't be) at how close Gareth, etc have managed to get to Henry's Heroes. if Max could 'feel' Gavin earlier, hopefully his ordeal will be short lived.

Travis couldn't be in a better place. Wonder if things will come to a head with his Sperm Donor?

WTF is up with that? Why would Gavin disappear when Henry arrives? Rude much? Unless it affects the outcome of their upcoming struggles or something? A person can't say, 'Hullo, how have ya been?' or ask about what is going on, etc. Something? Anything? That would annoy me something fierce. You got some 'splainin' to do and yo mouth better move faster n my hand. Good to know whats going on with Max and why he's involved. Hope he manages to end the curse on his Family. I really REALLY hope nothing happens to Harry and Rudi's Baby.

I almost feel sorry for the Egg/Dragon he was watching/waiting for. Hope we get to meet that one during the story. Love being back in Pern with the Dragons and their Riders.

Tracy does sound like your typical Norwegian God, but damn if Blu ain't gonna go Super Saiyan on his ass. Bella should so have known better. I know it means he will reasonably want to let Blu know, etc but she should at least tell Tracy. Then tell Blu and Kyle. The evil side of me can't wait to witness that scene but the good side of me is really worried. Look how Blu was with Sage: a) Sage and Link weren't trying to hide anything and b) Link is not Bella. This is not going to go well, not at all.

The Game is afoot. Slightly surprised both that Davey and Max were affected by Dickwad's Power and that the Other's (apart from Henry), weren't. So, Rothenia here we come...

Toby said things like, '...our concerns are not earthbound...' and '...but that is not my concern, any more than is the fate of this world...' So then why is he here? Why is it important that Henry understands he is part of their world? I totally missed any previous mention of Enoch, Elijah and The Icon being destroyed. I don't like that. It's not fair. Plus, isn't The Icon a major part of what makes Rothenia, Rothenia? If you're Australian and older than maybe 25, you may recognise/understand this reference - not happy Jan!
