I share your absolute anger, that minister is going to the hell he condemns others to. I still suffer from the abuse the church inflicted on me.

Any parent that doesn't love their kids unconditionally doesn't deserve to be one. Good Riddance Mom.

Chapter 10 - A Journey into the Past
Petey commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 10 - A Journey into the Past
If giving a hug is unprofessional, let professionalism be damned. We are all in need of human, loving contact. and I'm glad River understood this. -
Kudos to you for tackling such a dark subject. You are doing it in such a sensitive way, brings tears to my eyes to think of all the innocents that are being destroyed. Commentary on the church is spot on, wish it would change but not expecting it too. My respect for River just went through the roof. Hope he and Silver find true happiness, God know they deserve it.

I really detest Kevin, he is supposed to be a professional. Just the thought of him looking after Silver makes me nauseous. You almost had me in tears describing Silver's scars. To think there are people (cannot call them humans) who would inflict this level of pain on someone is incomprehensible. I can see why River is conflicted, he is an empathetic person. Loving this story so much.

Every once in a while you find characters that captivate you and pull you into their story. I have found both River and Silver. What a treasure you have written. Thank you

Most peoples fantasy's remain just that. In my humble opinion I feel the characters, especially Joel, were manipulated to fit the story. It is probably a generational thing but this just didn't ring true to me. I'm disappointed you felt you had to take the story in this direction, I had so liked the story so far.

Tracy is becoming quite ambitious! Bit confused why Alex makes changes(hires a housekeeper) but doesn't discuss it with Tracy first. I'd be more than concerned to find a stranger in my(our) house. "The man (florist) went into full frenzy excitement". I'm a florist too and hope people don't think we all do that. Tho my late husband did say(lovingly) I could be a drama queen at times. lol

Stroke of genius connecting Alex and Tracy with this story. I've missed them lately so it was great catching up a little bit.

From one who lost his soulmate too early, I wish you strength and peace.

The Times They Are a-Changin'
Petey commented on Headstall's story chapter in The Times They Are a-Changin'
It seems somewhat odd that shifters go to great lengths to hide themselves from human discovery yet Connor is the second human to be a mate to one. I think Mother Earth is teaching us about diversity and acceptance. Great lessons for us all, excellent chapter Gary, though I don't think I'd expect anything less from you -
Sometimes it isn't always just a matter of choice but also of timing. Maybe Liam has to recognize this and not be so hard on Alex. We all have our own timeline of growth and no one should judge if it is good or bad. Alex has made a very courageous decision and should get credit for it. I'm not sure if Liam is the person to continue on this journey with him. Maybe they both need a fresh start.

Great story, but then I expect no less from you. Can't wait til you post another series, love your stories.

I'm happy to see Marcus and Andy back even if it is under such difficult circumstances. Happy that Andy reconciles with his Mom. I wish that religion wouldn't tear families apart like it does. My brothers and I have struggled in our relationships because of it but at least we are still talking however strained the conversation is sometimes. Hope that we can check in on Marcus and Andy again sometime in the future.

"He tasted like warmth and hope", beautiful words to describe a kiss. This chapter shows that no matter where we start, there is hope for all of us. It just takes the right person to see our true value. Hope Graham doesn't bale when he learns of Wally's(no spoiler here either) past. As much as Wally was embarrassed when others found out, Grahams reaction will be vital to them moving forward.

As a man the same age as Maurice, you've captured so well the feelings of one who has lost a partner. It does feel so much that you are a 'watcher', that you are living your life through watching others, yet not feeling connected. Slowly you started feeling again, hoping that one day you will feel like taking part again. As a more mature person it's difficult to summon the optimism of youth and embrace life again, not sure if you'll ever feel the joy of new love again, but hoping, just maybe.... Thanks Gary

Can we just shoot Babettes' whole family!!??! What a bunch of jerks. Another great chapter, now to find out who is causing Dad's startled reaction. Can't wait to find out

To borrow part of a line from you, "the boys loved each other, and it was good." A few gentle tears realizing the story for us has ended, but knowing the future for Emm and Jian is bright. My favorite story, thank you Sasha.

Crying a few tears for Jian. I know what it's like to be rejected by family(mine was religion). What a beautiful scene with Emm comforting Jian, the emotions leapt off the page, what a masterful story teller you are!

Jian getting that close in the zoo brought up a long forgotten memory when I visited Riverdale Zoo in Toronto (I think the small zoo has long since closed). I was 10 or 11 and decided that there were too many bars between the tiger and myself and I wanted a clear shot without any bars. I jumped the 1st fence and proceeded to take my picture with the camera between the bars. I didn't fare as well as Jian I'm afraid. I was summarily marched out by my teacher and given a very stern lecture and sent back to sit in the bus until the other students finished their visit. Happy that Jian fared better. My little Shih Tzu, Teddy, comes with me to my flower shop every day. He loves the customers and they love him. On my website he is listed as Head of Security. Really enjoying this story!

This story is so full of cliches, yet it is very refreshing and I'm really enjoying it. I don't think Ian's defenses are strong enough, even if he tries to resist. Michael is so good for him.

Your words resonate, couldn't have said it better myself. Yeah, I'm ok too, but sometimes....

Normally for me to label a story as a soap opera is not a good thing, but right from the start this was filled with drama and intrigue, and to the end it did not disappoint. The last 2 chapters felt rushed with not enough details about each rescue. Happy to see our boys finally got their HEA. Sorry to see this come to an end.

Excellent chapter, full of good emotions. Love the "you will marry me", tho I wish Alex had given it to him while he was on one knee (what can I say, I love romantic gestures), but I guess they are a family so it was good to involve Benny. It's time that there is no ambiguity about Alex's and Trace's feelings, wish they had told each other these things when Sasha flew in on her broomstick. I'm glad I stuck with the story, this chapter felt like your first chapters. I know we gave you some pretty harsh reviews, earlier, me included, but now I think you should get some well earned praise. Great job, looking forward to more great chapters. Peter

Sounds like Babette is Sasha's sister (from Unexpected). Happy Will and Liam have so much support from teachers, students and parents. I hope the principle is tossed out on his ass as well. Any person with that much hate should not be allowed to be in a position of authority, especially in a school setting. Don't think this is quite what the boys were expecting for their first day, but life has a habit of messing with plans,
