This story is so full of cliches, yet it is very refreshing and I'm really enjoying it. I don't think Ian's defenses are strong enough, even if he tries to resist. Michael is so good for him.

Your words resonate, couldn't have said it better myself. Yeah, I'm ok too, but sometimes....

Normally for me to label a story as a soap opera is not a good thing, but right from the start this was filled with drama and intrigue, and to the end it did not disappoint. The last 2 chapters felt rushed with not enough details about each rescue. Happy to see our boys finally got their HEA. Sorry to see this come to an end.

Excellent chapter, full of good emotions. Love the "you will marry me", tho I wish Alex had given it to him while he was on one knee (what can I say, I love romantic gestures), but I guess they are a family so it was good to involve Benny. It's time that there is no ambiguity about Alex's and Trace's feelings, wish they had told each other these things when Sasha flew in on her broomstick. I'm glad I stuck with the story, this chapter felt like your first chapters. I know we gave you some pretty harsh reviews, earlier, me included, but now I think you should get some well earned praise. Great job, looking forward to more great chapters. Peter

Sounds like Babette is Sasha's sister (from Unexpected). Happy Will and Liam have so much support from teachers, students and parents. I hope the principle is tossed out on his ass as well. Any person with that much hate should not be allowed to be in a position of authority, especially in a school setting. Don't think this is quite what the boys were expecting for their first day, but life has a habit of messing with plans,

It's amazing what you can get up to without talking

From spending 2 months in a residential hospice with my husband, I realized that hospice doesn't assist you to die, it helps you live as well as you can until you die. The positive role of hospice cannot be overstated. They are staffed with special people who I think are actually angels to help us. This chapter brings back some sad memories and tears but the love of the family is what pulls you through.

Kind of neat to have a story set so close home. Belleville is a 20 minute drive for me.

Has anyone wondered about lube, condoms and birth control. I know it's not the stuff of corn fields and moonlight, but we did have to wake up to some pretty awful truths

I find it so sad that an old white man can brag about groping a ladies body parts, yet 2 young men in love can't feel safe walking in public holding hands. Young love is a joy to see and you are building this story so beautifully. Happy to see that the boys don't have porn worthy sex right away because the insecurities and tentative explorations you portray are more realistic.

The romantic in me is swooning. This chapter reflects what you do best, capturing the essence of the boys' feelings for each. In the last two chapters with the inclusion of Annie, I was afraid we had somehow lost Brian and Jeff as a couple but I am so happy that they spent some quiet time reinforcing their feelings for each other. Like Gary said I think I needed this chapter to get that reassurance. Looking into the future at that age can be very scary for a young couple but knowing how they are putting each other first will help them navigate the rest of the year. Sharing all the first times with each other is very special, especially sleeping together. Thanks Geron, you have made this romantic happy again.

Beautifully written. It's been 2 years for me and I often wonder when I'll cry my last tears.

Chapter 40 The Art of the Deal
Petey commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 40 The Art of the Deal
Interesting how Mother Earth is telling them the way to fight the malaise is to come together and work cooperatively while increasingly our political leaders are becoming more isolationist and divisive. We should be listening more to Mother Earth. We should make this story required reading for everyone. Loving the silent conversations that only we are privy to. Interesting how some of the married shifters will give up a relationship to find their earth mates. Lots of valuable lesson today. Wish there was a love button to press instead of only like. -
A bear named Paddy with a Scottish brogue, what's not to love. I've discovered a new love for bears. I think I'll go out and fetch one for myself, unless you have another one up your sleeve that's dying to meet a cute Dutchman!

Chapter 15 - Out of the closet, into the fire
Petey commented on Avangelion's story chapter in Chapter 15 - Out of the closet, into the fire
I know in one of your replies you said there was no sex in the hotel but with all the vageness in the talk about that night there has to be something that happened (I KNOW I have trust issues lol) Unless that is 100% resolved Dom will always have this nagging little doubt which will become full blown at the next hint of trouble (like his rage with Tina). I have a strange little feeling (or am I just reading too much between the lines) that maybe Tamaki is harbouring some feelings for Dom, especially how he seems so protective of him. Waiting impatiently for the next chapter -
Don't apologize for the longer chapter, it was well worth it. It's good to see that the boys are developing a good relationship. They are both genuinely good kids and deserve happiness in spite of what crazy Cindy thinks

Adding a third or fourth person to a relationship seems to be a favorite plot line since it has appeared in the last couple of your stories. It was certainly predictable as this story has started to unfold. While threesomes are not my thing and have never been - I guess I was too boring and always felt the person I was with was enough - it's not my story to tell. In real life it usually leads to someone being hurt so I hope that it is not the case here. You'll have to forgive me, I'm just a hopeless romantic

Thanks for finishing this story. The hardest and most frustrating thing for a reader is to become invested in a story and then be left hanging when it remains unfinished. I really appreciate the effort you take in sharing your stories with us.
-
Well, that's quite a start of your story. Now that I've got my breath back I'll go on to the next chapter. I'm definitely intrigued.

Interesting observation about Mother Earth not wanting us to isolate ourselves from each other. Appropriate for the time we are living in. Is hearing their mates telepathic voices like when we have been with our mates long enough we finish each other's sentences lol? Again this has saved one of the boys. Mother earth is very wise in giving them this special gift. Nice to hear the playful bantering and sexual play between the boys, they deserve this special happiness.

Two men in love and a dog - what can be more perfect The trip to the North Pole and the Beach might have to wait, it's so much more difficult to travel with a pup. Maybe some old fashioned nesting is in order for our boys. Warms the heart to see Emmett so possessive of his mate and Jian so freely expressing his love for his mate, the romantic in me is swooning lol

Not sure that if I were a teen about to have sex for the first time with my boyfriend I'd be having a game of poker first On to the main event! I'm loving the setting of Cobourg. I lived there for 5 years in the late seventies. Had a house on Orange Street and then for a short time on Shirley St.

Chapter 37 Many Happy Returns
Petey commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 37 Many Happy Returns
Sex is wonderful anytime, but when it is with someone you love it is truly spectacular. Hoping all the blessings from Mother Earth doesn't mean too much trouble ahead for our boys. Happy they have their special place to enjoy together. -
In this season of hope and renewal you have given us a beautiful Christmas gift of love. Thank you and wishing you all the best in this season and the new year to come.

Very cute Christmas story, guess I'll have to start believing in Santa Claus again
