  1. Happy Birthday Tim Happy Hunting Steve
  2. Kev, I don't know if you can simply say you're not as nice of a person as you used to be. What I would say is that yes, you are becoming more judge mental, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It seems the more that we mature , the more that we see the bad side of people where earlier we weren't really interested in that side of people. As that effects you more and more, it is next to impossible to be more judgmental as you have to be aware of how those negative traits it will effects you personally. I think the key is that you are aware that you mindset is changing, and know when to bite your tongue, and know how to treat everyone with respect.
  3. Hey CJ, thanks for the chapter . So I read it on Tuesday, but a couple of things caught my attention besides the reference to cliffs and the garbage truck . So I got the opportunity to re read again tonight. Here is what tweaked my spidey senses: First off, I found it interesting that the Scar kind of brushed off the information on the GPS data stick and just figured he would ask General Bradson, and he would tell them what is on it. Instead he spent more time in figuring out exactly how the General got onto the island. I didn't really think on how he got there was really that important other than impressing Felecia on his capabilities. More so, what is exactly encrypted on that GPS device that the general brought? Second thing, the Scar mentions when Yuri questions the General's intentions that he confirmed that he knows for a fact that General Bradson's son is in Iran. Since the Scar is/was a arms dealer, I wonder if he got that confirmation from someone in Iran. I have a feeling that the Iranians will be working with the Scar to use the General's son for a purpose that will somehow end up assisting the Iranians with their intelligence of the US and give them an advantage when dealing with the US. Not a good feeling from that at all. Lastly, I thought I would point out this:
  4. A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American cousins. Enjoy your bird, and don't forget to kick start the economy tommorow at the malls . Steve
  5. So in the US they just finished having a election of a new President. Here at GA, there is some debate on who is campaigning the most for the position of King of Cliffhangers. I know this poll doesn't include a lot of the possible contenders, but it is just an early poll based on what your feelings are today and how you may vote if these two contenders were the only two to be on the ballot. Feel free to explain why you voted and who you voted for, or you can remain anonymous.
  6. This had to be one of my most favourite last year
  7. Now Benji, if we look at the definition of a conspiracy in this context: [edit] Noun Singular conspiracy Plural conspiracies conspiracy (plural conspiracies) act of two or more persons, conspirators, working in secret to obtain some goal, usually understood with negative connotations. Where has there been any secret behind what is being done. Once Steve announced that in his blog, it could no longer be said to be a conspiracy, now could it? On the other hand CBOATS was discovered by Steve who analyzed all the facts that were present and he was able to make a logical connection between CJames and Benji. Since you are denying the possibility of this being true, is it not being kept secret? Therefore, CBOATS is a more likely an evil conspiracy where as your (note: singular) accusation holds no water
  8. Oh hush now silly goat I'd be more worried about what day is exactly six weeks away and checking my calender, than starting threads like this one .
  9. I was going to tell a few jokes but decided not to. Does this mean it is open season on the leafs?
  10. Happy Birthday Bryce!! Hope you have a great day and year ahead!!!

    Good People

Like the saying goes about an elephant in a room, I too noticed the lack of conversation of the huge cock too. I guess if we don't acknowledge it, then we don't have to discuss it. Still want to mini golf, but guess it will have to wait till next time. Just about only 5 weeks now!!! Thanks for the visit
  12. Researching them , he doesn't need to do any research . He just needs to look out his front door. I was recently in the area of Arizona and thought I would help Graeme out on his hunt for CJ. Here is a picture showing that I was actually in Arizona. Funny thing is, once I entered the state, I had this eerie feeling wash over me . I was scared. I had a feeling that the goat had me in his fix with those eyes that glow . I was frozen to the spot, unable to move forward or backward. I knew nothing could be this sinister to trap a poor tourist with his gaze other than the goat himself. I finally was able to work up enough courage and strength, or maybe it was the goat blinked, but I was able to successfully run away. So I started to scan the landscape that I imagine the vast majority of Arizona is made up of, hoping to spot CJ so I could report his location to Graeme for an undercover sneak attack: As you can see, CJ is surrounded by massive cliffs that I'm sure he has no problem getting the inspiration from to write chapters for us, his poor readers  . Being also a master of misdirection, I was unable to locate him anywhere by sight, but you could definitely feel that he was in the area. And if that isn't enough to prove that CJ lurks around the cliffs for inspiration, let me leave you one final picture of Arizona, CJ's chosen home. Here is what happens when the State allowed CJ to design and build a new bridge in the state: He's evil I tell ya, absolutely evil.
  13. Happy Birthday Emoe!!! Hope it is the best one ever
  14. Ah, so CJ has followed the lead of Hitchcock and decided to write himself into a cameo spot in this chapter . Great chapter CJ, and thanks
  15. So I am surprised that nobody has picked out that this chapter contains more cliffs in it than possibily any other chapter released by CJ. Both Santo Ant
  16. Yeah CJ.......head over to Vegas I'm sure nobody will look for you there .
  17. Chapter 12 of Changing Lanes, Departures is up!!!
  18. I will agree with all the above. Would I like to see a new chapter of WT or ITFB...yeah!! Do I expect it....no. That would be wrong to expect as a reader. We will all be here whenever you find the inspiration to write anything. Just look at all the responses to you writing two blog entries Take you time.
  19. Just when I found a pretty good looking receipe for curried goat . Let's just hope that it is an early release after a HUGE cliffhanger of a chapter
  20. Well I had fifteen minutes to spare.... So here is the top six actual forums in the hosted authors: For The Love - CJames: 1655 posts Poll: Favorite Story - Comicality: 1018 posts Living In Surreality - Shadowgod: 614 posts Desert Fantasies - Jack Scribe: 255 posts Desert Droppings Ch. 8 - Dom Luka: 198 posts Rider's Pride - dkstories: 127 posts Now it should be noted that 1, 3, 4, and 6 are all forums that were for an entire story, not individual chapters. If you were looking for the most posted about chapter, then I believe it would be Desert Droppings Ch. 8. Also, there is a lot of 'fun' forums like Spice and Since CJ is Away that are actually in the top four, but I choose just to pick the most popular one for each of the Hosted Authors forums only. There is your dose of absolutely useless trivia for the day (and one more post in this forum).
  21. Come on Benji As CJ used to say, he was just misunderstood Can't we let bygones be bygones?
  22. I thought Eric broke his leg rock climbing with The Shadows. Was Eric drinking at the time? I'll have to look back at that. Speaking of which, wonder if there will be another appearance of Zeke, Steve, and Wilde? Even though it is only the 29th, an early Happy Anniversary to you Tim
  23. *sighs* Why must you all soil the reputation of the hero of this story ????
  24. Well, all ends well I guess  . Thanks for the chapter CJ . I kind of got a feeling that this chapter set up a lot of things to be seen in the future. A bit of foreshadowing I think. Things like what really was the purpose of mentioning that Keith and Jansen had worked out the routine and were shrugged off by George. I just got the feeling that CJ gave us a bit of information that we need to store away for later. Also, Jon's attitude and demeanor was kind of strange for this far into the story, if you include LTMP. I wonder if his level headed approach might let us foresee how he'll react if sh%t really hits the fan. I'm glad that they both admitted that they had doubts about the wedding, and was glad to hear why Brandon had those doubts and now they were taken care of. Did anyone else notice though that Chase didn't really contribute to that conversation why his resolve to get married was even stronger? Wonder if he was just still pissed at Brandon and Eric at that point. As far as Eric's promise, I have the feeling that he will fail miserably at that one. Somewhere him and a bottle of tequila will cross paths again, and my money is on the tequila. Last thing I wanted to mention was thanks for giving us a bit more of Brandon, Chase and Jon. It was like old times. CJ, if your worried that the focus was lost on the current story, rest assured I was wondering through out the chapter what Jerry and the General were up to. Hard to keep me happy eh? Thanks again, Steve
  25. Well, well, well . So CJ finally admits that his affection for cliffs started a very young age . Hopefully we don't hear anything more about him having nothing to do with cliffs
