Welcome back CoLeYy I was wondering where you had disappeared to, so it is great to see you back! Graeme, don't make me send the goat down there with a bomb strapped to him .

Hey all, Jon had an idea about a poll and I thought it would be a great idea to get some of your thoughts I know there is a lot of question in this poll, but there seems to be a lot of questions about Keith and Jansen. Go ahead and post what you think about all of this. It should be interesting to see what what you all think. If I missed a option for a question, let me know and I'll try to add it. Steve

I get the other feeling, with Kieth seeming to be jealous of Eric around Jansen. Jansen seems to be more comfortable around Eric in states of undress, more like someone who has played a lot of sports who don't really look at it as a sexual thing, just a guy thing. The other thing is with Keith's protectiveness of what Jansen might say, kind of like he doesn't want him to blurt out that Keith has the hots for Eric. Who knows? Besides CJ

Well, obviously Eric knows that their not a romantic couple. I have a feeling that they are not related but with the 'growing up together' comment I think they are childhood friends. I know that Eric knows by the way he booked two bedroom suite for them and now he upped the ante by asking them to kiss, which neither seem to keen on doing. Maybe that is what Eric's instinct went off about, the fact that they are lying about being together. It seems that he hasn't had any problem with them since the first meeting and is actually seeming to have some fun in trying to get them to admit it. So typical Eric, plan everything except the beach, the minister, and the license . My question is, how did Eric arrange for the beach to be closed and the local police to help out? BTW, thanks for the chapter CJ

Changing Lanes 17: The Show Must Go On
wildone replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Wow, I never even thought of that possibility, and it does have a lot of merit to it. First off the only one to mention that they were a couple was George, other than that they have been referred to as partners, now I get the feeling maybe just dance partners. The second thing is that Jansen mentioned that Keith had pictures of the band all over his bedroom and loved their music. So seperate bedrooms and Keith's room may have resembled Brandon's from LTMP. The other thing that came to mind is that Jansen has twice been underdressed with Eric, once in their apartment, and once cleaning up after fixing up the club, and he seems to be okay with it. Whereas when Keith has walked in, he may be jealous of the fact that Jansen is alone with Eric. This is looking more and more like it might be the truth. -
Well I guess if your in denial, then your definitely in the right forum

Changing Lanes 17: The Show Must Go On
wildone replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Ah yes, the famous "Then their was two" chapter . CJ seemed to think it was a good idea to leave us on Christmas eve wondering if there were only two Carlisle Brothers left or two Shadows left. I'm sure he has something bigger and better planned as a present this year . I can hardly wait -
Ahem....and who else is gay in the homophobic little town of Landfalls Krista???? Not like you would keep us hanging, now would you?
-
Happy Birthday Benji Here's hoping you have a great day!!!

Oh sure, what I read in the above quote is that you weren't happy with the Cliffhangers in the story, they weren't big enough. BTW, nice try to deflect us with the whole part in the brackets, we know you too well CJ

Changing Lanes 17: The Show Must Go On
wildone replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Hey CJ, Something just came to mind. It would appear that Eric was right about his 'instinct' toward Jansen and Keith by your earlier comment. Then something else came to mind. If you haven't read LTMP then be warned, spoilers ahead. Back in LTMP, Eric had always read Joe Clump as being bad. In fact that turned out to be the truth. Fortunately when Joe realized his mistakes and talked with the guys and Helen and was honest and forthright about his dad, and how he was still a bit uncomfortable with Chase and homosexuals but trying to change, Eric's attitude changed. He seemed to be at least willing to give Joe another chance and let his original instinctual feelings about Joe go, but still be wary that he has the potential to screw them again. So, not 100% trust, but Eric seems big enough to give second chances. Let's hope that whatever Keith and Jansen do, Eric is big enough to forgive them and can maintain a friendship. I too have come to like them and don't want them to go and also believe Eric needs more friends outside of Instinct. Hey, what a great idea, I think Eric needs a close friend named Cody . BTW, I wonder if Joe will be a guest at the wedding? -
Well it appears that Talon Rider has informed us all about the 2008 GA Reader's Choice Awards which will begin in about a month. By this early poll it looks like CJames is off to a early lead with Shadowgod making a stong showing . Now I know for sure there is many other strong candidates, so this should prove to be a exciting election. Steve Hmmm, I wonder if there is any way to set up an exit poll .

Changing Lanes 17: The Show Must Go On
wildone replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Thanks for the early release CJ . I was going to get mad about absolutely none of my predictions coming true, but then thought to myself that there is still another night with Eric at the club to get into a whole lot of trouble. Not to mention the pictures that were taken by whomever. It wouldn't be the first time in this story that pictures of Eric turned up in the wrong hands . To add to it, I'm sure if George was pissed at Keith and Jansen, then he'd be twice as pissed at Eric for canceling his contract with him. I imagine George isn't the type of person to let lawyers settle his scores . The one thing that has me confused though is the fact that you made the point of saying Eric's instinct told him something is off about the guys. Eric is never wrong, or so we have been told. Actually if anything, this chapter has made it out that he was totally wrong about Keith and Jansen. I guess I'm just going to have to wait for the other shoe to drop . Well, we have a week to speculate. Steve -
Okay, since I now know I'm clear, I guess I'll say what my predictions are. Some may not be 100% correct, but should be darn close. So here are the clues I have pulled out of the story so far: When Eric first met Jansen and Keith, his INSTINCT was off about them, unfortunately probably like many of us, he choose to ignore that, and will probably pay for it later. Keith seems to get annoyed anytime Jansen speaks up. It is like he is afraid Jansen may say something that he shouldn't. Remember how nervous Jansen was when Eric showed up at their apartment without Keith there? I believe it was Keith that mentioned that "George and his ilk are the only show in town". In the exotic dance industry, most clubs are owned by organized crime syndicates. Up here in Canada the Hell's Angels control the majority of the strip clubs. Everything is very low key unless a stripper or a club manager does something on their own to take funds away from the organization. Then look out, your life is going to become very difficult. I would say George is part of some kind of crime syndicate. Both Jansen and Keith are gymnasts and also actors. Could they have been acting to dupe Eric all along. One major concern of Helen's has been the wave of fame that the band has been riding. She has warned a couple of times of how a scandal could take them from a high to a low very quickly in public opinion. Keith has inquired a few times, and now has the information of exactly where the party and wedding will be held. So based on those clues, here is my prediction: George will find the flyer for the surfer stripper show that his daughter left behind. Coupled with the fact that he controls the strip scene in LA and the sick call in from two sets of his acts he will know exactly who will be performing. George will decide that if he isn't taking a piece of the cut (50/50), then nobody will be making any money. Just before the guys open the doors, George will show up with his posse and Keith, Jansen, the other two strippers will all be taken care of. Unfortunately Eric will probably be doing the bartending since Craig canceled out on him. This means Eric will be at the club when the hammer falls. What will actually happen to them I'm unsure about. The other possibility is that somehow Eric is exposed as being at a male strip show and the paparazzi will be there to report it. The last thing that comes to mind is that Keith has already been selling information to the paparazzi about the upcoming show and trip. Although this is unlikely, it may explain why he doesn't want Jansen to say too much, and also why he was anxious to find where they were going. So there are my guesses a day before we know what will happen . What does everyone else think? Could I be missing something with the clues listed above? Steve PS: Feel free to start posting in SPICE today!!!

No fair !! I know if I reveal what I have figured out, then you will dispatch the Enchinda to Canada to impale me with his anti spoiler spines . I have too much respect, or is it fear  of Graeme. I am open to bribes though as compensation for getting pricked . Wait, there is like 6 inches of fresh snow on the ground, maybe that is enough to deter him from coming.

Hey Jamie, If you want a good read then definitely check out Let The Music Play. It has more cliffhangers in it then the Grand Canyon has cliffs...Actually it would be a great read in the sense that you can just click on the next chapter to see if the Cliffhanger du jour has resolved itself or not . Although not necessary, it will give you some background on CJ's current story that he is posting, Changing Lanes. When you get to that story you can enjoy the tension of CJ cliffhangers for a whole week while everyone waits for the next chapter. Also, reading LTMP you will see why CJ was named the 2007 GA King of Evil Cliffhangers :king: . This was actually a step up from being named The Queen of The Evilest Cliffhangers by a near unanimous vote of readers (Don't believe me, go to any web browser and search "Queen of the Evilest Cliffhanger" and see what pops up as number one). Since you seem to have some culinary skills, may I interest you in sharing some ideas on the best way to prepare goat next time a roast is being planned? Welcome, and it is good to know there is one more person who sees CJ for what he really is......... . Steve

Evil, Evil, Evil Goat!!! I can't believe your planning on doing what I think (almost know) you're doing Oh, BTW, I just noticed that you I haven't commented on the chapter yet, so Thanks to start off with . But I will have to make another post once I calm down Steve Edit to add: Stoke up the fire!!!

I noticed today that GA now has over 6000 members . It seemed right to offer my congratulations and thanks to Myr who had the foresight and idea to create this great site. I know a lot of people have come and gone, and a lot of people have helped Myr reach this goal (CJ, Dan, Joe, and Trebs at the forefront), and thanks go out to them as well . Everyone makes GA what it is, and to have over 6000 members and probably the same amount, if not more guests must mean that all of you have done something right . Take a bow Myr, you deserve it . Hockey....everything to do with the coolest game on earth
wildone replied to wildone's topic in The Lounge
So the NHL finally decided not to let Sean Avery continue on his mission to make the NHL into the WWE. Today, while in Calgary he made a comment to the media after making sure that at least one TV camera was on: "I'm really happy to be back in Calgary; I love Canada," he said. "I just want to comment on how it's become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds." Avery was making comments about Flames' Dion Phanuef and his girlfriend, Avery's ex, Elisha Cuthbert. So the NHL decided to suspend him indefinitely for his comments, just one of many that has come out of his mouth in the recent and not so recent past. Funny thing is that the Dallas Stars agreed 100% with the suspension and admitted that if the league hadn't suspended him, they would have themselves. I know he wants to be an agitator, and stir up things to hopefully upset his opponents, but when is enough, enough? Was the league right in making the suspension, or did they overstep their bounds on something that has nothing to do with hockey? Last, I hope his lawyer has received papers already from Elisha Cuthbert's. It's the least that he deserves. Steve -
???? Hmm, other than the misdirection of the chapter name, I didn't see anything about a delay. Oops, I guess there is still 12 hours left in Tuesday in the goat's timezone. Unless.............another sign of the evil, misdirecting goat
-
Interesting thing is that people have met the real Benji, and the real Shadowgod, it is just nobody has met the real CJ. I look for distinguishing features whenever a cross a goat heard or see a petting zoo with goats, but all to no avail. If I was a betting man, my bet is on Benji .
-
I see, another example of CJ misdirection
-
Welcome Steve . Actually I use it as well when I'm reading a story and I don't know where it is. When CJ was writing LTMP and first mentioned Telluride, I was not aware that it was in Colorado, or really where it was. Since we knew the brothers came from Idaho, I did a search for it in Google Earth and viola, it was there in Idaho . Luckily CJ specified later that the one he was referring to was in Colorado. BTW, really cool name . Steve

Silly goat , any fan of yours has Google Earth. How else would we do reconnaissance on where you actually live everytime you give us one of your cliffhangers? Eventually one of these days we are going to see a bookmark on the map of Arizona and we will all know where the goat roast shall be . Edit to add: In case you need a hand with drawing a map, I'd offer to help based on this submission
