This is sad news to hear. As much as people may want to see the site revived or the stories saved, I would caution for anyone to call the number or write the address on the registration. If his family is aware, or not aware and find out, it probably wouldn't be good for lots of people to reach out, in sympathy or other reasons. First and foremost, we all must respect the family in cases where someone has died, even if we don't know the wishes of the person the person or if there is a family.

Featured Stories: Inked and Beach Bottles by Carlos Hazaday
wildone posted a blog entry in Gay Authors News
Wow! Did you notice the title? Instead of story, it is stories this month Timothy did two great reviews from Carlos this month. Although Timothy will most likely blatantly deny it, I'm sure this is my birthday present since it is coming up Enjoy! Inked by Carlos Hazday Reviewer: Timothy M. Status: Complete Word Count: 9,824 Writing a blog review, which features on 9/11, would tempt me to review Mark Arbor’s CAP story 9/11. But I already did that back in 2017. Instead, I would like to pay tribute to Carlos Hazday, who passed away in June 2023, by reviewing a Premium story with several of his favorite parts: hunky men, awesome tattoos, heroes in service, and a love of the sea, as well as another story, which is assessible to all readers. In the story Inked we meet Banner Hoyt, who is a Coast Guard in Alaska. His colleagues and mates are what all gay men would want in their straight friends. Cool and secure in their own masculinity, they may tease Banner and his friend Marc, a former coastie, about getting laid (or not), but when it counts, they have their backs. I particularly liked this opinion expressed by Banner (and Carlos): “He claimed the day more men felt secure enough in their sexuality would herald the end of homophobia.” It is a story without epic drama, just a group of friends dealing with the situations they face, whether it be during rescues or while having a beer. They are calm, intelligent, and determined, just the kind of people I like. Give the story a try, and tell me what you think of Banner’s decision at the end, and whether you also wish Carlos was here to write another Banner story. Category: Fiction Genres: Fantasy, Action/Adventure Sub-genres: Adventure, General Fantasy, Nautical , Super Hero Tags: mature adult, gay, north america, friendship Rating: Teen Beach Bottles by Carlos Hazday Reviewer: Timothy M. Status: Complete Word Count: 3,031 This story continues the theme of love of the sea, as well as caring for the environment. There are four short stories collected in a series called Earth Day Stories, and Beach Bottles is the second. Liebe is a little girl whose two fathers give her lots of love - and I bet her name (German for Love) is quite deliberate, They also bring her up to enjoy the sea which is practically outside heir front door. One of them is a fire fighter, so we also have the protect and serve theme covered. And although the text doesn't say so, I'm sure both guys are hunky, too. This story is for everyone, who would like to have fond smiles on their faces, as we indulge in the dream of a world where families with two fathers are normal and accepted, and love is love. I know Carlos worked hard to promote such rights and equality. Did you put away your whites? I boxed up my white jeans, my white joggers, my white cargos, my white shorts, my white undies, my white socks, my white shirts (dress, polo, t, and others), my white sneakers, and white jackets and even my white belt . Now what am I talking about ? When I was growing up, the saying was you could not wear white after Labour Day. Where that came from, I have no clue. But being the fashionista that I am, I don't do any of it . Sort of a rebel with a cause . Up here in Canadia, after Labour Day is kind of the official end of summer , not meteorological but still the end to us. So we turn our sights to fall, autumn, or whatever else you call it. I would say we look forward to the leaves changing but it has been so dry in my neck of the woods, that started happening weeks ago. Now I'm sure I will have that odd snowball tossed in my direction, but snow is one of my favourite weather events. The way everything is blanketed in white, less people out on the roads and every sound sounds crisper in the cooler air. Shall we have betting pool to see who can guess the first snowfall in my city? Let's say $1.00 CDN or what equates to $0.23 USD to the winner. Enough promotion of gambling on the site. We don't need the state gaming commissions looking into my blog ! Whew it was warm out today. Even with lots and lots of sunscreen, I'm a little red . Luckily when I got home around dinner time, I sat down and turned on Netflix and much to my surprise season 3 had appeared on a series that I really liked the first two seasons of in the spring, Ragnarok. Sadly, @JamesSavik, I think Bevis and Butthead may be less viewed and known by less cultured people . I think I had to wait up to like midnight to watch new episodes. -
Wow, I see so much going wrong in the future with everyone from this chapter First off, thanks Dodger for another great installment . Is it true you are reaching the half way point of this tale? Where shall I start. Let's talk about the good. Robbie I think has finally found that he needs Sue where together they have to stand up to Don. More than he probably ever thought. Maybe a thought in the back of his mind was as long as she was with him, she was behind him. Glad to see that something has made him realize how much of a mother, mentor, coach and supporter she has been to him. Like it was said, I can't imagine anything other than his bio mom smiling down on both of them. I think I have heard somewhere, something like history repeats itself ? I can't remember where, but wasn't their last break up because Nathan forgot about Robbie when he was doing a commercial or something? Then he started dating a fellow actor, and next he is being taken out of the no tell motel barley alive and strung out on drugs? I seem to recall a party at Ginnie's too. So Nathan has admitted to taking drugs and so has Robbie. Robbie doesn't seem to get defensive with Rory when he calls him out for his hypocrisy. Yet Nathan jumps down Robbie's throat when he admits he is a hypocrite and that Nathan shouldn't start back on drugs, or continue them. Also in Vancouver 😮 The drug capital of Canada A lot of people love the beautiful views and landscapes of the city and the area and the ocean, but they don't see the daily war zone of the the downtown eastside where junkies sit against parking meters with a needle in their arm, dead, until a van eventually comes to get the bodies. If Nathan ever wants to be totally tempted by drugs, then he should move to Vancouver. Hell, everyone there will be out to save him too! I guess I was okay to a Nathan reunion after Conner, anything had to better than that repeated rapist (yes, I haven't forgot about you Alex). But I always felt that Robbie was so much more and Nathan was so much less and would drag Robbie down due to his blind lover for him. Maybe as he thinks, he sees this is part of growing up. Realizing that it is nothing more than a high school romance, which I question, what have they done romantic, it seems to be only based on sex, and that maybe it isn't something that will or should last. I hope he thinks about the word love right about now. I'm as confused about Rory as the rest of you I blame 100% of this on Dodger What author would torment his readers like this ? I'm still not 100% convinced that Rory is gay though, although I wish upon wishes that he is. When you look at Rory's 'flirting' moments with Rory and Rory's responses and flirting back, they do seem pretty normal for a kid that has no self esteem or self identity issues. Maybe we will find out in the latter half of the story . I know most of my straight friends that I would 'jokingly' make sexual innuendo with, they gave it back as good as they took it. I have to say another person who confuses me is the Pastor. Like we know what Mr. Symonds and his game play is, which I'm sure will be coming to a head with Jo and also Matthew. We also know what the two timing, cheater, liar, multi personality, bully and a whole lot of other names that Don is. But what is the Pastors. He doesn't seem to push Robbie to give up his lifestyle but presents him with options, not threats like Don and Mr. S. I still don't trust him, as all the people in the congregation learn their dislike and revulsion to gay people from someone. I don't think he is just putting out the mother churches pamphlets on a table so if anyone is interested can grab one. But I haven't figured out his total angle yet. I'm sure Mr. Symonds is in his employment somehow, probably paying him for 'treating' Mathew, so he is guilty as any of them. I know I'm including some comments from the last chapter too! If you made it through this post, it must be like a bonus chapter and we all will not have to wait as long for a new chapter Thanks again, Dodger

Nothing to complain about age this week I wanted to discuss something, but this blog would be then directed to the Pit Let's talk about unicorns 🦄 I'm a big Tolkien fan and I have no difficulty after reading the stories and believing that all the species that are in Middle Earth, might have at one time been actually on earth. Like maybe prior to the dinosaurs and Middle Earth was destroyed due to some calamity too. Or, what if we finally find life on another planet and it is actually Middle Earth Not sure if the Hobbits or Elves and Dwarves would have mastered space travel though. Heck, they still get around by horse, horse and buggy or on foot So what do I know about unicorns, sadly not too much. So why don't you inform me all you know about the mysterious animal. Do you believe they ever existed on earth? I read one story by @Cia that ended with a fair bit of unicorn action (not like that, you pervs ) but haven't read many other stories of them. Maybe recommend a story or two We had a good week this week on the GA News Blog. Monday, our Review Team led by @Parker Owens brought all of us a new story to check out: Thursday, it was time to scream from the rooftops!! Okay, maybe a bit dramatic But you can let everyone know if you are participating and if you have started, add a snippet if you want Friday was Cole Matthews' turn at the wheel to bring us a couple of new prompts on Prompt Friday: Speaking of unicorns, do you think Comsie roamed the earth 15 years ago with them? Those are some grim comments @Myr, I thought @Krista asked us to not use her picture from her last birthday party anymore -
And it can be costly to your resale value too! A house that installed a sun room addition with a jacuzzi in the middle of the floor, that had to stopped being used to decades of fighting cancer, eventually was pulled out and the hole filled in. Try to sell a home with two showers, 3 toilets and 2 tiny pedestal sinks and one larger sink is sometimes not appealing to buyers. Unless you are going to rip out a bedroom for a proper size bathroom.

I think a lot of managers beckon their team to useless meetings that we could all avoid and not miss out on anything
